I have not reviewed Ulta yet even though I have been going to this location since it opened. The reason being, the associates I have come in contact with have been so incredibly rude and detached. For a while, I thought it was just me but speaking with friends they have had the same experience. And looking at your store review it looks as though most of your clientele has experienced the same. However, I went in this past Thursday and was pleasantly surprised to come in contact with a young lady named Chas. She was helpful and engaging. She greeted us right when we walked in the door and took us around the entire store finding the three specific items that I had come for. At least you usually have the products I want! Nope, not helpful & not nice. Judgmental and difficult. heaven forbid you change your mind after you get up to the counter. It's a huge ordeal and you're likely to lose your money for at least a week because the return returns. Take that long to get your money back. read more

My mom and I have shared an account for years and I've never had a problem using my points I went to go use my points and mentioned it's under my moms number and the manager proceeded to interrupt when she wasn't even checking us out and told me I couldn't use my points which is fine i understand that because my mom wasn't with me but I have used the points many many times without her being there and I told her that very nicely and she had a tone with me saying "well I didn't check you out when that happened and I'm not losing my job because of this" I understand what she was saying but the attitude was so unnecessary she was tall with glasses and kinda curly hair I didn't get her name but I've been to this ulta for years so I'm really disappointed with this experience if I'm going to be spending a lot of money at a place like this I expect to be treated with respect I'm not one to take the time to leave reviews but she was so rude read more

I went into ulta today to return two items and I was waiting in line behind one other customer who seemed to have a civil conversation with the cashier. Then when I walked up to the counter her whole demeanor changed, like I was an inconvenience to help. I even said hello and she instantly shot me down saying "girl you trippin, I'm just here to do my job". And I responded with " I'm just being nice" she adlibbed saying it's hilarious, but I just think she is very unprofessional and needs to be fired and exposed for her behavior. I went to Ulta to buy some makeup. I had a long-list of products that I needed to replace. I had hoped that someone would be able to give me advice and suggestions. I walked in the store. There were two cashiers behind the counter and no one was on the floor. I walked around a bit hoping that someone would offer to assist. I ended up walking out empty-handed. I imagine that the shoplifters are having a field day in this store! read more

For some reason there's hardly any reviews on the services that Ulta provides. The salon is AMAZING and so is Megan who is the Dermalogica skin therapist! Breanna usually cuts my husband's hair, so I decided to book a coloring appointment with her. She gave life to my boring, brown hair by giving me an ashy blonde balayage and I've never been so impressed with my hair. She was the sweetest ever and is super easy to talk to and makes you feel at ease. I swear, those three hours just flew right by! My hair looks great and everyone has been complimenting me on it and asking where I got it done. My skin was in need of some TLC, so I booked a facial. Megan was very informative and she made me feel very comfortable from the beginning. She didn't make me feel bad for not taking very good of my skin, which I was super worried about. I was relaxed the whole time and so comfortable with her. She explained everything she was doing as she was doing it, and then recommended a customized skin-care routine for me to do at home. My skin immediately felt better and I could see a difference right away. Definitely go to Megan for all your skin-care needs and concerns. I've come in contact with a lot of stylists in between my visits to Ulta. Breanna, Marisol, Sandra, and Rachel have all been very friendly. I'd recommend this whole salon. read more

The people that work here are in dire need of an attitude check, probably from management down. When I am spending $100-200, or even $20, I do not expect to be treated rudely and condescending and as if I am wasting your time. This is your job Ulta employee and if you are so obsessed with yourself and your own makeup and how you look compared to your coworker that you cannot even ring up a sale without being a jerk then you need to seriously consider your deep seeded insecurities and work somewhere else where you have no human contact. A few notes: Redeemable points are there for the customer to use. Quit acting as if it is the biggest inconvenience of your entire life to look it up and apply to the purchase. If the store is out of a product and floor employee offers that the cashier can order it for you and ship to your house - cashiers - again don't be jerks about it and act as if it is the worst thing you have ever had to do in your sad life. I have had so many bad experiences not only at this store but in other states too across the board. I am fed up with this business and will never shop there again when I can go to Sephora and be treated with kindness and helpfulness. They have a great overall selection of hair care, make-up, skin care and beauty tools. Ulta also has beauty services such as: hair styling/care, skin care, brow/waxing, makeup, and nails. Get a free member rewards card and build rewards when you shop. You can use the reward points towards purchases and you get a free gift on your birthday! Really? No reviews yet? Let me preface this by saying I've never actually been IN Ulta. I did call asking if they carried a certain hair product and the person who answered the phone said they did not carry it. I then asked if they happened to know where it could be found, and the person rudely replied, "You need to ask your phone. Google." Now maybe this wouldn't be a big deal to other people, and I suppose it's not really. But as someone who has worked in customer service for 15 years, I would not want my employees to speak like this to potential customers, and as a potential customer I wouldn't want to, for example-go to the Ulta brow bar and have my eye brows done by a rude employee. Or buy anything from a business with rude employees for that matter. A simple, "I apologize I don't know who carries it," would have made a huge difference. I was visiting this ulta, my usual visits are in the Chicago stores as I reside there but I was on vacation and decided to visit this ulta store and if I could leave zero stars I would. Granted they were getting ready to close because it was Christmas Eve but the girl at the cashier station was rude, for lace of better use, snatched the phone from my hands when I presented my ulta card and rudely tapped on it after she realized she couldn't put the brightness up she asked me. She kept rolling her eyes as I paid and her demeaned my whole experience. If you can avoid this store do so, shop online. It'll save you the discriminating attitude this store has to offer. read more

We were visiting from Chicago and decided to go to Ulta today around 5:45 and the cashier was extremely rude, she assumed that I wanted to use my sisters point and I had to tell her no I wanted to use mine. Also as she was giving me change she almost threw it at me, I understand that it was Christmas Eve but she didn't have to be rude it's not my fault she had to work that day. We have family that live in Arkansas and never experienced anyone being rude to us since we almost come every year to visit. Chicago is a city and very busy but they have always treated us right. I don't know but I will not be returning to this Ulta. This is to the lady that was rude if I were you don't work if you don't have a positive attitude. read more

I love Ulta but I had a very rude employee assist me. I didn't catch her name but she had dark shorter hair and a tattoo on her arm. I asked her how many points I had because I was curious. She acted like I was wasting her time and sneered at me "you only have 300. So that's like $9." I was blown away by how rude she said it almost as if I wasn't good enough to be in the store? I wish I would have pulled a Pretty Woman on her because I had ran out of a lot of products and was coming in to repurchase. Girlfriend picked out $200 of makeup and their chip reader wouldn't read her debit card and wouldn't allow her to run it as credit. She had to put it on her credit card... likely because they want you to sign up for THEIR credit card. Why can't you run a debit as credit card? Nice play, Ulta. read more

I went to get my makeup done and I did the natural makeup look. And Hailey ( the girl doing my makeup) rushed doing my foundation, and didn't take her time. She didn't have any patient and she was very rude and didn't take her time. Not worth the 55$ honesty. read more
