I searched for acrylics sign near me & "ULTIMATE ACRYLICS" came up, I didn't know what to expect honestly. I spoke to Derick on Friday came in to go over the design on Saturday, I sat down with Jaden & was so impressed with his ideals & design. Jaden built an acrylic case for me to protect some collectibles from dust and two curious cats. He wasn't quite finished when I arrived so I watched him and his team work. They worked efficiently using mostly body language to communicate, just like you would expect from a team that has worked together for a long time. I didn't tell him at the time, but there where several times where I felt that the quality of the work was sufficient, but team UA continued to polish and buff the case until every seem and corner shined and shimmered like an ice sculpture. In time, Jaden finally released the piece to me, even though he was still not happy with some minute imperfections that only he could see. He built me a second case on Easter Sunday and when I arrived, again he was meticulously going over every edge erasing every imperfection. I had to stop him from polishing the back edge of the case telling him that no one will be looking back there. In summary, Jaden and the UA team treated my two small jobs like they were masterpieces. I found these guys on Craigslist over a year ago. I enjoyed looking at the gallery on their web page. My Company decided at the last minute that they needed 3 each of 2 different custom display stands for a trade show. I called my normal source for these jobs (a shop I have been doing this kind of business with for almost 20 years). They were too busy to discuss the project with me when i called and it wasn't until 4 days later that they returned my call. I called Ultimate Acrylics and spoke with Dereck about the project and he put me in touch with Jaden who assured me that he could fabricate my stands in time for the trade show. I finished up the designs and reviewed them with Jaden who suggested a slight modification. He invited me to the shop that evening and fabricated not only the 6 stands I ordered but 2 additional stands from a different thickness material for testing all for the original quoted price! I emailed him the updated files on Tuesday afternoon and picked up the parts Tuesday night. That kind of service cant be beat with a stick....at any price! these guys are the bomb! not only did jaden and derick do my order in one day, they went above and beyond to do detail work that was superior. i drove 120 miles round trip to use them. they were friendly and even allowed me to watch the entire process. they did it on a saturday and stayed until 9:45 pm so i could leave with my displays. there are not too many operators left out there who take as much pride in their work and are willing to go above and beyond. i will defiantly do more business with them in the future. they were worth the drive. thanks again! read more
