I've had different orders printed through Laura and her team including : business cards, custom photos on canvas, a life-size custom print out for my birthday and most recently, (2) "welcome home" banners to welcome my newborn nephew home. The way that Apples &Oranges delivered my most recent order really impressed my family and I, and most importantly, my friend and her family (the person who the banners were printed for). My friend gave birth on a Monday and after I heard, I called Laura at 1:30PM to order a custom "Welcome Home Baby" banner to have an option for visitors to take a picture with instead of the baby (baby was born during the coronavirus). After calling Laura to discuss the order, a follow-up email was sent as a confirmation, then my order was finalized later that day to be ready by Wednesday. The next day (Tuesday), Laura called me at 2:30 PM (just 25 hours after my order was discussed) to let me know the banners were ready for pick-up!!! This is the fastest turn-around I've experienced for anything I've had printed that is this big and custom. The banners are very high quality - you can tell the material is durable so it can be hung outdoors and they look spectacular. I highly recommend Apples & Oranges for anything and everything that can be created/designed and/or printed. The team at Apples & Oranges is extremely professional, creative, and they will work with you to fit your deadline needs. They assigned our business a mailbox that was already being used by someone else, which resulted in another person receiving and taking our mail. We later discovered that important filings had been sent to that mailbox and never reached us. When we raised the issue, they denied that any mail had ever been delivered there, despite clear evidence that documents went missing. Correcting these filing issues is now going to cost our business a significant amount in fees and time. What's most disappointing is that they refused to take any responsibility for a situation that was entirely caused by their own mistake.

He told me the same thing about my backdrop's resolution being to low for a huge printout, but what set him apart was that he took the time send me an email on how fix it so that he can print it. Once I fixed the image with his advice he said, "I can get that done in two days." and he delivered! I placed the order midday on a Wednesday and it was ready for pickup by 2:00PM on Friday. Pick up was seamless. He knew exactly who I was without introducing myself, he was friendly, full of personality, and so sweet. He unrolled the backdrop to show me his work and it was PERFECT! The staff in the front is welcoming from the second you walk in the door. I usually go for business cards or flyers, but I see people in there all the time with blue prints. When I mentioned I found them on Yelp, one of the staff even asked, "Are they still saying mean things about us?"--that should have been my first red flag. I brought in a simple job: trimming 4 inches off each side of a banner. The person helping me didn't measure, just eyeballed it, and now the banner is noticeably uneven. While working, he also complained that the job "wasn't worth $$$," which felt unprofessional. I was hoping to find a reliable local print shop for a new 10x10 banner and brochures, and a simple, positive experience could have led to more business. I hope they take this feedback as an opportunity to improve consistency and customer care.
