Owner Jason was simply AWESOME, taking my very small custom job on a walk-in basis, designing on the spot from a sample photo I brought with me minutes before closing on a Friday afternoon. We then walked into the shop to pick out the perfect fabric for my project. My small embroidery job was completed first thing Monday morning. I brought it home and stitched it on my ball cap. UCI grads, you are in the right place!!! This shop has done lots of UCI stoles and will be able to bring your vision to life! I messaged them through yelp on a sunday inquiring about the price and they responded pretty quickly despite the shop technically being closed. I was able to make an appointment for the following day on monday and Jason was super cool about showing me all my options and letting me lead with what I had in mind. My stole was done THE NEXT DAY which is crazy because a lot of places said it would take several days or even weeks to complete and I needed it fast because I was taking my grad photos that following saturday. This next part is kind of embarrassing but it must be mentioned...I mixed up their hours and went to pick it up on friday at 5:03pm but they had just closed at 5pm. I panicked because I was literally having people come down to help me with my photoshoot the next day and the shop is closed on the weekends. I called and messaged them on yelp explaining the mistake I made. Karen found my phone number and called me asking if I would be able to come back to their shop later that evening because they would be out all morning the next day. Jason drove back and opened the doors just so that I could get my stole before my pictures. I obviously don't recommend waiting until the shop is closed to pick up your project but I cannot believe how kind and helpful they were given my situation. There is usually a fee for rushed orders, but since I was a first time customer, she let me know that she would waive this fee this one time. I was lucky that they had availability because they were able to complete the tote in a few hours. I made sure to call ahead to see if it could be done in time before stopping by the office. She had an array of fonts and thread colors to choose from, but make sure you have an idea of what you want before stopping by! She will create a mock up before starting to make sure it looks okay. As a mom coming from Northern California, I didn't know where to go to get custom embroidery on my daughter's college graduation stole. I decided to give Yelp a try and came to So Cal Embroidery. I read so many excellent reviews on the various type of work and saw a few of the examples and decided to give them a try. I want to say that that they provide excellent customer service and are very patient in working with you on what type of embroidery you would like, the placement of the embroidery, the fonts and the color of the thread. What I love about the process is they provide a mock sample on what the end product would look like. I could only imagine what the final product would look like. The turn around time is approximately two weeks. As a heads up be prepared for the wait. If you want quality work, the wait is worth it. When I picked up her stole I was so impressed by the quality of work they had done. It made me a little teary eyed to actually see what she accomplished in 4 years. It was a Saturday afternoon and I was looking for an embroidery shop that would embroider a logo onto a prototype jacket for the company I work for. The embroidery spot I usually go to was closed on the weekends - actually 99% of the embroidery shops in the area are closed on the weekends, according to my Yelp search. But not So Cal Embroidery! They were open! The turnaround time here is super fast! I didn't need my jacket same day, but they insinuated that they could get it done fast (I assume that day). I dropped off the jacket on Saturday and it was ready for pick up first thing Monday. Note: Many shops in the area will take much longer than that! I worked with Jason who was professional, friendly and communicative. The customer service and quality of work here is top notch. In addition to embroidery services, they offer silk screening, promotional items and patches. No minimum order is necessary. I couldn't be more happy and pleased with my experience.
