The people that attend the school are great partners no matter what size you are or what shape you are in athletically. We take classes with all adults but they have kids classes as well. Beyond learning to defend myself in rigorous classes that not only engage me physically but mentally, I have learned the benefits of meditation and have seen a positive change in myself and my life overall. Lots of other places have a 30 minute time, but this class is between 45-60 minutes, depending on how long it takes to finish the lesson- not when the time is up. I really like and appreciate that. The instructor, Steve, is awesome and very patient with the kids. And I love how he always relates the Jiu Jitsu lesson to the real world. Can't wait to continue our journey here.
