Whenever I want to get my windows tinted, my first and only stop is the father and son owned, Ultimate Window Tinting. Located directly across from Addison Road Metro, UWT does excellent quality work and all tints have a LIFETIME WARRANTY! Across the board, the cost is $155 and they only accept cash. Don't come in here with a credit card or check, because you're feelings will get hurt. They have modest waiting room accommodations, but it serves it's purpose. Not sure, but I believe appointments can be made. This particular visit was for a tint for my parents fairly new car. I've been here for my car when I was caught "riding dirty" and they had to remove my tint. Insert "petty side eye face!" I then came back and they installed my new tint and they did a fabulous job. I've seen plenty of PG's finest here getting their cruisers tinted. It's a pretty popular location for tinting and can get very busy at peak times. Several of my family and friends frequent this location and I've never heard a complaint. The father/owner, Keith, has the gift of gab and is extremely friendly. They're closed on Monday's but I didn't know, so since he was already doing a special request, he graciously offered to do my tint as well. I'm going to tell you like Keith told me, all tints are illegal, with the exception of the manufacturer tint, so beware of which tint you choose for your vehicle. If you're ever in the market to have your windows tinted, I would make it a point to stop through and let them work their magic on your vehicle. read more

Great Service! I've gotten a couple of windows tinted and my car washed at Ultimate. Similar to the other customer, years ago Keith was helpful to remove the darker tint I opted for as a result of a petty ticket. Of course, I was right back in the shop a couple of weeks later but went with the lightest option available the second time around. I arrive to get my window tinted, the guy ask me the model and make of my car and quoted me a price. I drive 40 minutes to location to get my car tinted for the guy to ask me how much you was quoted. I asked how much it cost, guy gave me another quote which was higher. Manager comes to me and said sorry he's new, and didn't try to compensate me at all and rude! I would never go here again! I try to support black owned businesses and then they shit on u. The customer service here is horrible! I came there today to get my new car tinted and I was approached by Keith (Son) stating that it's going to be a long wait, there are 4 cars ahead of you and we can call you once we pull the blk charger in. So I gave him my number and patiently waited at home for the call and never received it. So 12noon rolls by and I decided to call and see what's going on, ask for Keith(Son) whomever it was that pick up the phone stated that he left! Like left for the day, no just for a min. So Keith(Son) never told anyone that I was suppose to get a return call to come back up there. I ask if the blk charger was already brought in to get done, the person stated yes. The person stated that u cam bring ur car now, we working on a two window and then another one after that!Then the person in was speaking to was holding a conversation with someone else while on the phone with me! Just rude and no customer service! Then I ask to speak to Keith (father ) and he screams in the background I'm busy I dont have time to talk. Took my truck by to get the front windows tinted after reading, limited but good reviews here. Spoke with Keith the father, on the phone. Was reluctant to go with a darker tint than what's considered "legal" tint. (Don't need any problems). After talking with Keith I did what was best for me. His advice was very helpful. I'm very happy with the Tint. Gives my vehicle a sleek look. Although I had to leave and come back, when his son finally took my truck in it went REALLY quickly. His son was very professional and reassuring. He's a great representative for the company. The price was fair and I'm waiting the 24 hours for the tint to cure. Would definitely go back and give them a chance to detail my 3 vehicles. Will put up a separate review for the detailing. Good job guys. read more

I REALLY appreciate this business, its owners and thier staff. It's not a fancy establishment, but the waiting area is clean, staff is warm, respectful and friendly. Most importantly,they do great work for amazingly fair prices! I used to patronize Central Wood Car Wash on 214 E. Last year, I got a black sedan. When I took it to Central Wood, I noticed that you could see the brush marks in the paint's finish even when I got the special finishes. A few of my homeboys advised that I stop patronizing any car wash that uses brushes. Brushless/Hand car washes in the Capitol Heights, MD area charge around $20 for an "in and out" which is comprable to what you pay at car wash that uses brushes. So I took thier advise and visited a few different hand wash places. They were ok, but I wasn't overly impressed with the job that any of them did. Generally, if I wanted my car hand waxed (which makes a HUGE difference in to the finished product), it would run about $50-$60. Which is not in my bi-weekly budget for a car wash. Lol. One afternoon, I stumbled across Ultimate and decided to give them a try. I'm never leaving! Ha! Hand wash and wax $35! Yup, you read right, $35 for cars. I think they charge $55 - $65 for SUVs and trucks. I get so many compliments on my car now. The guys at Ultimate market the service as a wash and wax, but when Butch is done with it, you would think he performed a semi detail. Showroom FRESH! In decent weather, the job lasts about 2-3 full weeks. They also tint windows. Check them out, I promise you will not be disappointed. read more

PLEASE do not waste your time or money going here for tints. I recently tinted my car on 12/31/12 @ 10am. Keith the owner appeared to be very nice and professional at first. He bragged on how he's been tinting since 1985 and how his tint is the best on the market. NOT TRUE! His tint is a cheap Chinese film by the name of "Sunny Day" also keep in mind he is his own distributor, he will tell you that he never runs out of tints which is true BUT he never runs out because no one uses his tint but him and business is very slow. Sad to say, I did not find this out until I researched his product and his business from locals who were also in the tinting business. He is very ignorant and arrogant. I requested 5% tints on my vehicle which has black interior as well.. During the day and at night you can see directly in my car and the items which are in it. He charged me 120.00 for 5% tints which looked more like 20%. I've gotten 5% tints on all my other vehicles from "car Source" for 99.00 (Lenwood does a excellent job) I originally went to Car Source because I've taken all 3 of my cars there, unfortunately "Car Source" didn't have 5% at the time which I now regret not waiting for their 5% to arrive. Due to me not being impatient it cost me 120.00 and a terrible tint job. Please do not take your car to Keith I can't stress that enough he is extremely unprofessional and will argue with you once you disagree with him after you paid your money. I have since then called him 3x and left 2 voice messages and still no response. Locals in the area laughed once I told them where I went to have my car service for tints. He is a lot talk but his product is NOT the best matter of fact it is the cheapest and your tints will turn purple due to poor quality. I hate to start my New Year like this but It serves me right for not waiting and sticking to what I know which was Car Source. After going back and forth with Keith who already has my money, he never offered a solution other than charging me an additional cost to put 35% over top of what looks like 20% which he calls his 5%. When I mentioned to him that I will NOT be paying anything additional he drove off stating he had to pick up his wife, haven't heard from him since. I am a female and I believe he took advantage of that thinking I wouldn't know the difference, but what he didn't know was all my cars have 5% on it. I am BEGGING you do not do business with Keith. He is a lair, fraud, and will do anything for a few dollars. This was my first bad experience with tints and it will be my last. Drive by his shop you will see that business is very slow. In conclusion I had to go back to Car Source and let them remove and provide me with the correct shade of 5%.. (yes! I had to come out of pocket again) But I am satisfied and happy with their work. I figured I'll warn everyone because I sure wish someone warned me about this guy. I hope the 120.00 last him for a lifetime because I will NEVER EVER EVER go back there for business or refer anyone. read more

I went 2 weeks ago for a hand wash and wax; BEST WASH AND WAX EVER! They did an excellent job and for a low price of $50. The best $50 I've spent in a while. I would definitely recommend them to all my friends and family. But please have cash; they do not accept credit cards. read more
