1 word to describe our trip...AMAZING!!! My family and I chartered a yacht for a day trip on the water. Ed the owner was so helpful during the process. He answered all of my questions (I had A LOT) and coordinated everything. Since we were doing a full day trip, we wanted food onboard and Ed assisted us with ordering and picking up platters of food and had them all ready for us on board before we arrived. We reserved the Diamond Class Yacht for 6 adults. It was very spacious and we were very comfortable on board. They provided drinks and even alcohol (beer, wine, champagne). Captain Nick and our first mate were awesome during our charter. They took us to a great area to anchor down for the day and set up all the water toys (floating mat, noodles, SUP, etc). Captain Nick even towed my sister to the sand bar on the stand-up paddle boards to make it easier for her lol. To say we enjoyed our day on the water would be an understatement. We had such a good time that we decided to charter another boat the next day from Ed to take my nieces out on the water. This time we did the platinum class since it was less people. We went in a sunset / dolphin watch cruise. First , Emily in the office ,does a FANTASTIC job of setting everything up and her follow up / communication is second to none . More importantly, Emily is extremely friendly and a delight to speak to . Our captain was Carlos. Carlos did an awesome job . His knowledge of the area is second to none . My guests were thrilled when Carlos was able to have the dolphins play if the wake of the boat as we cruised the Sarasota bay . The boat was perfect for 4 people , well taken care of and clean as a whistle!! I am a Cadillac dealer and have a clear understanding of what it takes to deliver a world class customer experience. ULTRA- YACHTS was an experience described in its name ULTRA! We were lucky enough to have Ed and Terri the owners as our captains on our cruise. They are both knowledgeable of the historical and envoirnmental aspects of the Longboat Key area as well as very personable. They were both accommodating and made you feel comfortable the entire cruise. The exciting part of the cruise was the boat was an electrically propelled vessel. We have never been on an electric boat before and the quietness of it made the cruise even more peaceful and added to the ambience. If ever in the Longboat Key area ULTRA-YACHTS should be on your lists of things to do, you won't be disappointed. Truly fantastic service right from my first phone call. Ed was so helpful from the first time I spoke with him, from helping us set up a timeline to suggesting amazing dinner plans for us. We had captain Nick on our tour and he was awesome as well. Very knowledgeable about the area and easy going and friendly. It made our tour so relaxing. We had an unexpected problem with getting a ride back to our condo after the tour and Ed actually personally came to our Rescue. These guys made my 30th birthday the best birthday ever! They went so over and beyond to accommodate all my special requests...especially my dog! Not only did they welcome her with open arms, they made sure she was safe with a life jacket and had a special float just for her...wait, ladies, this will steal your heart. Captain Ed gave our family of five a tour that was right on the money. His knowledge of the region gave us a great historical understanding of the region. He was great with his ecological knowledge in the area. Captain Ed related colorful stories of the local real estate, local inhabitants, and local events that occur in the area.
