I've eaten here before and it was tolerable in the past, but this place has obviously fallen on hard times and has taken a dive. I walked in at 5 o'clock on a Monday, and I was the only one there. I was greeted by the cook who was sitting in a corner and didn't bother to get up. "Sit where you want" A few minutes later the waitress came out. Quite nice. I ordered the Mousaka as it's one of my favorite greek dishes. The cook gets up, and I hear her open and close the microwave, and hear her punch the numbers on the front. Great. So it comes out a little after. It's edible, not the worst thing ive eaten in my life, but I understand why there is no one in the restaurant. The top is crunchy, instead of rich and creamy. The beef is dry and overcooked. The rice was obviously microwaved and bland. The potato was blanched and bland.

In town for the day with a colleague. Decided to check out some Greek. I had lamb in my mind as we walked over from the Best Western. When we arrived I saw someone being served a Huge hot plate of cheesy Lasagna. Instantly my mind was changed and I went for the lasagna. No regrets! Excellent side of garlic bread too.

I went in with my mom for lunch and it was packed. My mom had already ordered for the both of us 10 minutes before I arrived. 30 minutes after I got there, we still had no food and we were told it would be another 10 minutes because the kitchen was "chaos". 10 minutes after that, we were told it would be a few more minutes and they offered us the meal to go. We said we'd keep waiting since they made it sound like it was almost done. My mom's food came 45 minutes after we arrived, but mine never did. The biggest issue I had was that people who had arrived after us had eaten and paid and we were still waiting. I'm diabetic and told them I'd taken medication and needed to eat, and still no food came. Eventually they gave me a take out container (I don't know why they could serve my order in styrofoam but not on a plate) and said we were better off leaving since they still didn't know how long it would be. By that time, I needed to order a Coke because my blood sugar was low. The waitress waived the Coke and the styrofoam meal, despite the owners son wanting to charge us for the whole thing. My mom had to pay for hers. I then couldn't go back to work despite already being late because my blood sugar was low. It was actually scary to eat there because they were so unreliable with timing and food delivery. I wouldn't have taken insulin if they hadn't said it would be 10 more minutes. We watched people come in after us, eat and leave while I had to drink pop and then eat cold lasagna out of a styrofoam container because I was so desperately in need of food to bring my blood sugar up.

We had Ulysses cater my daughter's wedding and they absolutely exceeded every expectation. From the first tasting to the final plate served, the food was fresh, beautifully presented and full of flavor that had our guests raving all night. Devina and her service team were professional, warm and attentive. They anticipated needs before we even asked. Weddings can be stressful but Ulysses made the catering one thing we did not have to worry about. They delivered not just a meal but an unforgettable dining experience that perfectly complemented such an important day for our family. We are so grateful for their hard work and would recommend them without hesitation for any event. The Gardner family read more

I gave this a two star because of the food. Someone at our table ordered a prime rib and it came out really under cooked, over cooked on the outside but almost purple in the centre. As well as the texture looked really bizarre (like it wasn't meat or what meat is supposed to look like). Our server looked really overwhelmed but she did an amazing job considering the circumstances and have zero problems with her. She was super sweet and even spoke with us on a more casual level so it felt comfortable. When we sent back the prime rib, she seemed super frustrated but it turns out the kitchen staff and chefs were yelling at her for sending back food. Doesn't surprise me if the kitchen staff are horrible considering the food we got. Overall I'm kinda tired of coming here and being constantly disappointed by the food. read more

We are fans of Greek food, so this was an obvious choice for us to try. We were lucky to get a table without a reservation at 5:30pm on a Saturday. Each of us ordered a lamb souvlaki dinner. The lamb was excellent, and I appreciated that they made me a Greek salad without cheese. My husband loved our dinner. I was a little disappointed in the roast potatoes since they were not lemony like I've had at other Greek restaurants. Our waitress was pleasant. read more

For the towns only nicer restaurant, the food and details are really lacking. The starter salad was iceberg lettuce and a few veggies that were frozen. The veggies that came with my $69 dinner were your basic 4 pieces of cauliflower/broccoli/carrots served cold and unseasoned, and the garlic bread was a piece of those frozen, dry, tasteless pieces of garlic bread. The steak was good and the waitress was friendly, but there is room for improvement with the food. read more

My wife and I shared the Calamari and the Paidakia. The Calamari was good and the Paidakia had great flavor but we had to send the Paidakia back three times because the first time it was over cooked and then the second time it came rare and the third time it came as a mix of the two. Seriously, they need a cook that knows what medium rare means. Needless to say we were there for almost two hours and at the end they did not even offer a discount or anything. A real shame because the place has potential. read more

Have been coming to Quesnel every 4-5 weeks for the past 18 months and this is one of my go to places. Never had a bad meal or poor service. Every restaurant has an off day, and there has been 1 or 2 times that it was a 3 star experience but over and over again good food and good service. Love the Greek Ribs, tzatziki, humus, the Lamb is great, stuffed peppers, and in my opinion this is the only place to order a steak in Quesnel. Every time we have been in the place is at least 1/2 full. in Dec 16 and Jan 17 the place was packed every time we went. read more

The waitress was very helpful, attentive and friendly. There were plenty of options and the variety that we had all proved to be good. Our pickiest eater even enjoyed what he tried which was quite a surprise. The kalamari, and the traditional Greek food was excellent read more

Yes, we went to a Greek restaurant that had no Greek food, plus we were waited on late. Others who came in after us were served first, plus the lasagna was not lasagna, it was just a pile of noodles with cheese and meat sauce and not much of that (meat sauce). Definitely would not recommend the place to those living here or just passing through. read more
