On previous solo visits, I went with a starter plus the omakase nigiri. This time I went with an old Navy buddy and we shared the tako yaki starter (my current go to and invariably delicious) and three rolls (Butterfly, Ohana & Mayo Sake). Everything was quite superb. Well prepared, superbly presented and fantastic flavours. Quite faultless and, dare I say it, possibly the best sushi I have ever had and that includes in Japan. Fresh ingredients, very respectable size and a visual treat. Together with a 7oz sake, my share of the bill was $33, which isn't at all bad. The space is very plain, but if you're there for the food, it fully deserves its fifth star. A word too for our delightful server, who's good cheer always makes you feel welcome. Very highly recommended. read more
