I'm a first time homebuyer so I am not super familiar with the process and was hoping he could be a resource for me and be understanding of my situation. Unfortunately, he seemed very disinterested in helping me get a mortgage loan and acted very condescending during my first discussion with him. I decided to not return and went somewhere else. I took my business somewhere else (with Chase) and the mortgage officer there was extremely helpful and made the process very simple and I was approved for a loan and closed within a month.

The branch staff was friendly but "loss prevention" aka the virtual customer service teams still could not lift the hold on our account after spending hours trying to reach the proper dept via WF CS lines to find someone to fix the issue. Only to have them still close my business accounts without proper communication back to me, leaving us in a lurch, forcing us to open a new business account elsewhere to ensure our business transactions are uninterrupted, because they no longer want my businesses due to a paperwork mistake created by themselves! I am spending days of work to set up all new accounts elsewhere and redo all our ACH bill payments. Even the branch associates complain of getting proper help for their customers due to lack of system processes and escalations. I have never experienced such disregard, lack of ethics, and disrespect to customers from a bank. Avoid WF at all costs!!! No stars but this forces me to select a star!

The location is decent - right in the heart of Bellevue near Bellevue Square / Lincoln Square, so it makes sense this cafe is also busy. Also, I went here Monday for the free coffee for the MLB Mondays so I expected a bit of a wait. But I did not expect a 1 hour wait at 7pm when they close at 9pm, and there were maybe 15 people ahead of me (unsurprisingly, in this economy, people go to great lengths, myself included, for freebies even though coffee this late at night is going to absolutely destroy my sleep) But the issue is less of the crowds. Seattle location had much more people in line, yet the baristas are pumping out drink after drink about one minute a drink. The analogy I can give is a well-oiled machine. Even in the early afternoons in Seattle, 35 people in front of me, less than 30 minutes wait. The staff here need a bit more training, to be honest. It is similarly 1-2 people working and 1 person taking the order, but somehow this location is 3x less efficient? Seating wise, this place is frankly a bit too small. I get Seattle one is large due to larger foot traffic, but Bellevue isn't a small town either. There is a second floor but like half as much seating, so even at 7pm, it was quite hard to find a clean table. I got the iced blueberry ube latte with an extra espresso shot. The drink itself was decent, but I did not taste any ube or blueberry (it was much more fragrant in the matcha one) so maybe the coffee drowned out the flavors quite significantly or they were skimping on ingredients in this location. I ended up just saving almost the entire drink for the next morning, however. I gave an extra star for the general generosity of Capital One and free coffee, but I certainly would not pay what was $10.50 for this drink at all if the quality is the same as that on a normal day.

We have a checking account at two banks--one that holds our mortgage and Chase is the bank we also have two credit cards with. The mortgage bank said there is no way to deposit these checks into our account--you have to open a minor account (the issue is the minor account can't pay the ongoing out of pocket insurance bills and we shouldn't be transferring from a minor account to our adult one). Chase said there is a straightforward path to depositing them in our account--a special way to sign the check and when we met with Josh today is was a painless quick process. I wish we could move our mortgage to Chase as well but was really impressed at the level of service!

We had to wait 30 minutes at this branch because it was not appropriately staffed. Their systems went down. She told off a patron in front of us who left. She also didn't apologize to any of the patrons for the issue. Many of them (who we talked to in line) were looking to cash checks, thus this issue could cause greater issue than what I personally experienced. Because of the branch manager, I will be transferring money out of US Bank accounts and investing/depositing it elsewhere. That is a shame, as we were Union Bank customers and experienced great service up until we had to go to the Factoria branch.
