Luckily, we didn't need to use their repair or rental service (although there was a rental mountain bike with red dirt on it winking at me & asking to go for a mountain bike ride). Since they know Swedish ("Cykel" means bicycle in Swedish), I want to say "puss puss"(kiss in English) to a wonderful bike shop!

They have a wide selection of excellent coffee drinks plus really tasty soup, sandwiches, and breakfast items to fuel you up for a ride. I ordered a grilled cheese and the soup of the day, which was a curried squash soup. I can't get over how good that soup was. It was vegan, and I can't quite pinpoint what the spices were, but it was so tasty. Very savory. They also have a great supply of bikes and biking supplies to meet all of your needs when hitting the trails. If you're coming up to bike Cayuna, you have to stop at red Raven.

We purchased a gift card for our son's bday, as he's a cyclist and could benefit from some of the gear they sell. As we were there getting set up, he had customers, young and old, from the community come in for service, bikes and apparel, and some for general bike advice. Everyone seemed to feel very comfortable in the shop and he treated everyone very respectfully. It just opened in March 2015 and I really hope they get a lot of area business! I was in Brainerd one day and found Easy Riders was close by. I talked to Chuck who is a FANTASTIC salesman, not pushy at all. He was very knowledgeable and listened to all my pre-requisites that I was looking for in an E-Bike. He was able to zero in on the Trek Allant 7+ that fit all of my needs. Especially, the tires that work with gravel roads. One of the modifications I made was to swap out the bike seat for the best one ever - the Cloud.Lastly, of course I needed a bike rack for EBikes and he showed me two possibilities. Being a woman, the first choice (although cheaper), just was bit too complicated for me. I purchased the fold-up Thune bike rack. Chuck was very thorough showing my husband and I how to mount and dismount the rack from the 2" receiver. We secured the Ebike and drove back up north and the Ebike didn't move an inch. My husband was very impressed that the rack with the bike easily fold down to access the back of the truck and lower the tailgate. The rack folded right up and with the wheels was easy to store in the garage.I have been able to take 2 rides on our back country roads; one a 4 mile and one an 8 mile and I wasn't all achy and sore because I had turbo assistance when climbing the hills. They got all the kayaks and life vests ready, did a little tutorial, gave us their recommended path and answered all our questions. We launched between the dams on the Mississippi River. There was no other boat traffic and it was kind of like a lake, virtually no current, just a leisurely kayak ride. There is a farmers market during the summer months on Saturdays that end at 1 pm so make sure to arrive early. There's parking for plenty but it gets pretty crowded during the farmers market. You can expect to find your usual fresh produce (corn, tomatoes, peppers), jams/jellies, crafts, rugs, and plenty of other knick knacks.
