This was an absolute waste of my time. Spent 2 hours getting here only to be in the lobby and told by Hyram who is a practioner that he can't help me. I replied why did you let me spendmy day getting here and going home and why are we doing intake in the lobby. He then allowed me into his office where he looked up Dr's. on a psychology today website, called them and left me to talk to them as I was escorted out of his office and told I could talk to the people in the lobby. I responded this is not a private room and was the led into a room where a lady was finishing treatment with another patient. In a nut shell do not waste your time coming here as it is basically a cattle call for people that want Ketamine and in no way shape or form willing or able to assist me. 5 hours out of my day for nothing and on top of that I paid eight dollars for the paratransit to get here. The only thing good was Nicole the receptionist as she was nice. Unchained Wellness needs to screen people before they commit to spending hours to seek medical help only to be told while you are sitting in the lobby that they don't want to help you because you live to far away. I have a multie of symptoms they advertise on their doorThanks for nothing and for wasting my time. Just a note that the referral he called told me they do not accept patients over 55. Great job Hyram, you were zero help to me. If you would like any further feedback do not hesitate to call me.

We're really glad we got to connect! If you are hesitant to include a therapist in your circle of people assisting you to raise your child, take a breath and get past it. I haven't been to Raise but Jess has treated someone I love. I have encountered many therapist and…read morethere are many out there who are clinically sufficient. What Jess brings to the table is something more, which was a genuine concern for my child. On one of our conversatios she said " I went on this run and I was thinking about"... she was thinking about my kid and how to help. She made me feel like we ( we because as parents, things that affect our kids affect us) were "seen." I think more often than not people get complacent in their careers, including the medical or mental health field, which I would chalk up to human nature. However, she never made me feel like my kid was number or just another patient. She was someone going through something and Jess was going to figure it out. We had to stop seeing Jess due to some circumstances out of my control. Which only lead us to a merry go round of therapists and it wasn't until then, that I was able to fully appreciate her, not only for her emotional investment in my child but also for her instincts, which were proven to be spot on. While on that mental health merry go round, I learned that not every therapist has the capability to convey a genuine sense of commitment and concern for their client/patient , however Jess did. Taking on someone else's emotional pain, trauma, anxieties and fears has to be one of the hardest jobs I could imagine, especially when it comes to children...so I can understand having and internal shut off valve and not fault anyone needing to enact that protective mechanism. But as a parent who's child hurts....I sure as shit want someone who sees my kid, as I see them. Once again I saw Jess early in her career. Not only do I magine that she has gotten better with time but I imagine now that she has her own practice, she chooses people who values their clients as much as she does. ...I did recently refer someone here and they had positive reviews about Jess, Teena and the facility.

I am very disappointed with my experience at Lighthouse, particularly with how my concerns…read moreregarding a psychiatric medication were handled. For over two weeks, I repeatedly tried to get a clear answer about whether I could receive a short bridge prescription to get me to an upcoming appointment with a new provider. When it became clear a refill might not be possible, I specifically asked for guidance on how to safely stop the medication. That guidance was never provided. Being left without direction regarding mental health treatment is unacceptable. I chose to leave this practice because I did not feel listened to by Dr. Westbrock. Diagnoses were mentioned without explanation, alternative causes were not meaningfully explored, and my concerns were largely dismissed. When I asked about further evaluation, I was told it would require several additional appointments and approximately $800 in fees, after already paying for the visit I was attending. The process felt more focused on billing than patient care. After securing a new provider, I contacted Lighthouse weeks in advance because I knew I would run out of medication before that appointment. I made it clear that I understood if a refill was not possible and that I was simply asking for guidance. Despite multiple attempts, my requested were ignored by Dr. Westbrock. Even after being told by the medical assistants this bridge refill should have been possible. Lighthouse medical assistants have reached out and apologized on behalf of the team. They stated the issue was with Dr. Westbrock and said that if I wanted a bridge now, three weeks later, they could forward me to the director. I appreciate the medical assistants who attempted to help every time I called. However, this situation should have been escalated to leadership much earlier, and at the end of the day Dr. Westbrock is employed by this office and his actions reflect the office. Overall, this experience left me feeling dismissed and unsupported at a critical moment in my care. The only reason I chose 2 stars instead of 1 was the medical assistants consistently trying their best. It is disappointing they are not listened to by their superiors. I am sharing this so others can make an informed decision when choosing providers.

Front desk never responds to calls upon multiple attempts and messages left. Extremely frustrating.read more

They have always treated me respectfully and with compassion. Specifically I would like to recognize the practice manager Kerry. She has gone above and beyond several times in my care. The staff has checked in with me during business hours, after business hours and on the weekends! it makes me wonder when do they ever have personal times for themselves? If I could give them a 10 star rating, I would!!!!! Thank you to everyone on the office staff and thank you to the doctors, the counselors and psychiatrist. From the first contact, the team created a warm, non-judgmental space where I felt genuinely heard and understood--something I hadn't experienced in previous healthcare settings. The thorough 90-minute assessment felt thoughtful and unrushed; they took the time to explore my history, symptoms, and challenges without making me feel pathologized or dismissed. What stood out most was how validated I felt throughout. For the first time, someone in a professional role acknowledged that my struggles were real, explainable, and not just "laziness" or personal failure. That moment of recognition alone was incredibly powerful and has already shifted how I view myself. The providers demonstrated clear expertise in ADHD while maintaining genuine empathy--many team members even have personal experience with it, which comes through in their approach. If you're an adult seeking an accurate diagnosis in a supportive environment, I highly recommend KEGE Center. They made what could have been an intimidating process feel empowering instead. Thank you for the excellent care--it's made a real difference.

This is a clinic that specializes in ADHD and no other psychiatric condition. If you are an adult…read moreat any age, please read this. They refuse to treat or even test anyone older than 55 years, even though all other psychiatrists in Phoenix who don't focus on only ADHD. The test for ADHD is not different at any age. They base their claim of not having the skills to treat older people using outdated studies. Here is a link to the latest study and comment from Dr. William Dodson: https://www.additudemag.com/adhd-medication-no-cardiovascular-risk-hypertension-heart-failure/ No one else in Phoenix refuses to treat anyone at any age. The skills required to monitor for side effects are simple, require few skills and are as follows: Routine blood pressure checks and occasional kidney function recommended when increasing the dose of the medication. If the risk for side effects is insignificantly different at any age, do they have the skills to treat younger people when they have the same reaction or complications from the medication? Why don't they accept middle aged to older patients who don't want to take stimulants or just want to take the test? What do they do when a patient of long standing turns 55? Are these patients aware that they may be sent somewhere else, even if they are healthy and stable? If you know of anyone 55+currently being treated at this clinic, was referred somewhere else after they turned 55, or was denied treatment at any age due to complications or being at higher risk, please message me. In conclusion, if it is obvious they do have the skills to treat and monitor patients of all ages, why are they practicing ageism? Beware of specialists with wonderful bedside manners but are known to screen patients based on statistics and chronological rather than biological age, or who may develop mild, easily treatable complications.
