A step back in time to the 80s-Now! You'd be hard pressed to not find something from your childhood here. Everything from early Nintendo NES, My Little Pony, Transformers, Barbie, Star Wars, WWE, Ninja Turtles, various anime and an over abundance of stuffed animals! There's a pacman mini arcade cabinet to play, a few claw machines and floor to ceiling toys. Everything we saw was in good to mint condition, and the owners/staff were more than happy to answer any questions we had. Prices seemed on point for the items condition/rarity so it didn't feel like anything was over valued. Owners are also heavily involved in second Friday downtown in Etown and you can tell they care a lot about the community. Follow their facebook page for the events they plan with local businesses. They frequently have discounts and free toy days on select days for kids. Only complaint again is their hours are kinda all over and change weekly/monthly so facebook is your best bet to see when they're open. Parking is available on the street via meters and in some metered lots around the area. (Typically a nickel for 1/2 hour, dime for an hour) Tons of local shops near by to so its a great afternoon adventure supporting local businesses. Solid 4.5-4.7 so I rounded up to a 5.

This store is in fact, a part of our engagement story, as my husband used Lego from Brick Heads in his proposal to me. I always love seeing the variety of new and old sets. My husband was able to replace some older sets I like that they have individual pieces, animals and minifigures, as sometimes I see something I want that comes in a set, but I do not want to buy the entire set. More often than not, I get sucked into their build a minifigure table. The staff are always friendly, welcoming and very helpful. They make us feel like old friends and I always enjoy coming. I would recommend this store to anyone, as they have a lot of variety and something for everyone at any price point.

Small little shop with so few parking spots near a very busy main road. The parking situation was a bit of a headache especially trying to back out and leave. We were greeted by a friendly person at the register and were amazed by all the legos that were put together sitting in the windows. That kinda was the best part of the trip here. Big Eiffel Tower and Star Wars ships already put together. The Legos they were selling g ranged from really old sets to maybe a few newer ones but honestly all I saw was old dingy boxes that to me were way over priced. I honestly didn't want to touch anything cause of the dust/dirt on the boxes. But my daughter seemed to enjoy it. There was an area of the store where you can build your own little Lego figurines. It was like build 3 for $11 or something like that for these tiny figurines. My daughter ended up doing 3 and made these cute ones of me and her. She also ended up buying a super man and spider man Lego figurine that was on one of the walls. Maybe I didn't get the concept of the store- because I'm older or who knows but all that matters is my daughter had fun making her few figurines. After we left I asked her what she thought about the store- she said it was just okay, nothing special but she did like making her own Lego things. After a quick search we found Kranzels. Located a few blocks from the West Shore Farmers market, they carry a large and wide scale of RC cars, models, Boats, Air Planes and an impressive amount of Gunplas. The Gunplas were a little hard to find but go to the back counter and turn around, there's a HUGE shelf of them to choose from, all grades available. We talked to one of the employees and he informed us of what all models they stocked, when they got the perfect grades in (the highest quality models) and all the paints/gloss/varnishes they stock. They have a loyalty program so for every $100 you spend, you get $5 back. Nice esp if you're a regular you can get a nice little discount. We'll be checking back in a bit to see what new stock is in and when he needs to restock his supplies.

The decorative windows are the brightest part of that block of older buildings. The interior is well-organized on two floors and packed with collectibles, toys, comics, and related merchandise. Most of the current and recent backlist comics and books are priced, but you may have to ask for a market price on some unticketed items. But the staff is helpful. The store is easy to reach from Middletown, Harrisburg, and just off the Harrisburg junction of 283 and the Harrisburg East exit of the PA Turnpike

This is one of the nicest comic/action figure/misc stores I have ever seen. Layouts were clear and grouped by interest. Displays were carefully designed with the collector in mind. The amount of stock is great, especially back issues. I saw something I've never seen before - ECs from the 50s!! One area that I am still collecting. Most stores only carry the later reprints. Nice, but none that I need at the time. There are separate displays for comics, magazines, action figures, sals items, suggested reading, and a nice area just for kids with a great selection. The manager was helpful,and very knowledgeable, and we had great conversations. There are multiple areas marked for sales prices, including several boxes of low priced comics and magazines. And especially of note: I read recently of the difficulty of finding new packs of Pokemon cards. Some dealers were charging $9 to $13 for the new packs, due to shortages. Comic Store West has them for $6, with a limited amount you can buy. That alone tells me a lot about caring and watching out for the consumer.
