Coffee cafe has lots of Starbucks logos - but they don't take give Starbucks points, take their gift cards, use their cups or sell their products. The iced coffee tasted like water ... I love love love Barnes & Noble. This particular location is a nice addition to the area, as it offers a quality third place for studying, reading, working, and socializing with friends. Like other locations, this location operates as a bookstore and cafe, complete with a children's reading area, bathrooms, and sections organized by genre and reading interests. I cannot comment on the service or value of this particular store, but I can say that it was fairly clean. read more

This Barnes & Noble pretty much has everything you need when it comes to books. The store is so large, you could spend hours in there. The baristas are really nice at Starbucks and they work super quickly to make sure they have everyone's order done on time. There is a great kids section and music section for those who are interested in those genres. There is also a great selection of journals by the check-out desks at the front of the store. Even though I have plenty of books on my bookshelf, I always find myself here searching for something new. read more

Publisher since 2010 and have held many book signings for our authors well over decades at many different bookstores throughout the US including Barnes and Noble. I have never had such an awful experience as we did with Camp Hill Barnes and Noble's manager, Kristi Fisher. Extremely rude, unprofessional and just plain ignorant. She did not speak to us or with us, she spoke at us and waved her hand to shew me off when inquiring about my authors setup. We will NEVER hold another signing at this location EVER!! Large Barnes and Noble facility. You can spend the whole day here shopping for gifts. Had a couple of books to pick up for a friend. Staff coming around and restocking the shelves and putting books away. Lots of foot traffic at this location. Check out was a breeze. Not many people on the line. Staff helpful. read more

Great Barnes & Noble location with friendly staff, a nice cafe, easy parking, and plenty of seating. The only downsides might be the somewhat slow WiFi (2Mbps down and up) and that the cafe is not really a Starbucks in that they don't accept Starbucks cards (however, this is the case for all Barnes and Nobles). read more

One of the highlights of an adventure for me, this Barnes and Noble location is incredible. It has all the features we've come to expect from the franchise - a small cafe stocked with coffee, sandwiches, and pastries; an expanded toy section for the kids; and of course, a great selection of books! The Barnes and Noble junior section, now that I'm a parent, has become an awesome place to visit when my son comes with us. They have an awesome selection of books for children of all ages, and the best part is the toy train area! My son could spend the entire day there No matter how busy this place is (and it almost always IS busy when we visit), there are always enough employees around to help right when you need them. Everyone is super helpful and that personal touch, the ability to help you find a book or genre as you talk about it out loud, is a lost art in our increasingly digital world. I love bookstores. They're always so cozy and fun and they smell like fresh brewed coffee. This particular trip I came to grab a couple of those hatchimals for my kids for Christmas because already they're sold out everywhere. I tried to "reserve" one online and got a text notification that they were unavailable. Shortly after that I got a call from an employee telling me they weren't able to hold them because of their popularity but they are currently in stock so come on over. So come on over I did and I'm now the proud owner of two hatchimals for my kids to play with for a few hours at Christmastime. I ended up also signing up for the rewards club because, why not. I shop there enough and with the holidays I'll shop more. The girl at the counter was super friendly and made the whole transaction a breeze. read more

I bought a Barnes and Nobel gift card for someone two weeks ago. Ever since, I've received daily promotional emails. I've unsubscribed with every email I've received, and I'm still getting daily emails. When I go to unsubscribe, it still has my settings saved as "Please unsubscribe me from all B & N emails." And two weeks later I'm still getting emails. Barnes and Nobel's is guaranteed to never get another dime from me. The next time someone asks me for a B & N gift card for Christmas, I'm buying them an Amazon gift card. read more

Only B&N in Harrisburg metro area. It's quite small in comparison to other locations. It really feels very crammed in there. On some occasions I have had horrible customer service and on many, I have been helped well. Overall, I am forced to say I love this location unless I want to drive 45 or 60 mins to the other ones. read more

After some less than stellar service at BAM a few miles away on Jonestown Road, I will gladly drive the extra 20 minutes to get to this Barns and Noble. They have a decent selection of books and even sell some anime figures I collect. They keep their stock pretty well supplied and the staff is helpful whenever I've needed it. The Starbucks is a nice touch and I usually stop for a coffee whenever I'm here. They do ask if I would purchase their discount card every time when I check out, but unlike BAM once I say no thank you, they simply say ok and continue the transaction. Overall a good place to stop if you're looking for a particular book or need to kill some time. read more

Love the atmosphere here! It's like walking in to a quiet home. A warm coffe or tea from Starbucks, a soft cushy seat, and a great read. Shopping here is easy with great lighting and well labeled aisles. I can always find what I need or a hidden treasure on the end aisle shelves or on one of the many tables around. While I still prefer Borders when shopping for books, I had a Christmas gift card from here and I wanted to pick up a few things. The selection is very good, but the layout of the store seems a bit hectic for me. I also didn't like that finding a salesperson to help me track down a book was like finding a needle in a haystack. If they offered computers scattered around the store, that would have been helpful as well. read more

Great selection. Had a bad experience with an inattentive person at the information desk who was very jokey and fun with her coworker, but was short with me for no reason that I can determine. I guess my point is that I don't go to B&N because I can't get a better deal elsewhere. I consistently get better pricing on Amazon.com. If there is no customer service at B&N, why would I go there? read more

I like this store--purchase toys for my grandchild, books for myself and others. I'm an author. My memoir is 'Braving Time.' No Barnes and Noble doesn't carry it in store, but with my membership I frequently order it from them for events. Whenever I travel, I always look for a Barnes and Noble store. Standard quality in the way of providing the general services I have come to expect from the Barnes and Noble chain. The only reason for the three star review is that of all the several B and N's I have frequented throughout the years this is the only one that neglected to provide comfortable places to sit around the store. Every other location I have been to around the country provides plush and comfy furniture arranged throughout, so you can pick up books and sit down for a minute and read. I consider this to be a major draw and an essential part of the experience but this location neglected it entirely. The only seating available were awkward wooden chairs at the very front of the store all compressed side by side. It resembled the type of seating that you would expect at a DMV. There was also the typical Starbucks in the store which had above average customer service. You could also sit down in there but, not surprisingly, was completely packed full of people with no intention of moving due to the lack of seating alternatives. read more
