Nice place to read and buy books. Usually not too too crowded either

Great Barnes & Noble location with friendly staff, a nice cafe, easy parking, and plenty of seating. The only downsides might be the somewhat slow WiFi (2Mbps down and up) and that the cafe is not really a Starbucks in that they don't accept Starbucks cards (however, this is the case for all Barnes and Nobles).

Visited this past Saturday, very very rude female cashier staff at the front of the store.

The proximity of this store in the heart of Camp Hill, Harrisburg's Business hub, makes it a very popular choice!

Check the days and hours before you visit. Lady Matilda and I come to the market for our meats and spices, grab a soft pretzel or three from the Amish kiosk, and see what the Bookworm has to surprise us. It's a friendly shop where they remember you and your tastes. I've converted a lot of clients and friends in the area who were quick to dismiss it as just another dirt-mall book dump. Absolutely not. The store carries the professionalism of classic independent booksellers with the fun of a friendly mom-and-pop store. Take a break from the busy market on your next visit.

There's so much to see inside, with all kinds of book genres all well-organized and easy to search. The staff was incredibly friendly and approached me twice to ask if there was something they could help me find. They knew where everything was and knew sometimes even before they'd look what was on the shelves and what wasn't (or what just sold a couple of days/weeks ago). Very insightful and their kindness made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for the used book lover!

So here it is, visit Robinsons Rare books only come to those…read morewho pay Hey Hey Hey Pretty fantastic rare book store and this is the kind of shop that you need to go shopping at instead of Barnes & Noble's - so you can keep them in business and keep things like this going. There was a time when these things were everywhere but that time is long past. Come and check it out and pick up a few things from here. Yes it's overpriced in some areas and it's enough to almost make me drop it to four stars but I really want to support these kinds of businesses and five stars will do fine.

5 Stars for a surprisingly large rare and antique book shop deep down within a bookstore…read more Follow the signs and make your way down underground for Robinson's Rare Books! This shop looks tiny when you first enter (downdownstairs in a great bookshop), but don't let your first glance deceive you. As you go from one small room into another and another and another, you will realize there are plenty of places to get lost looking through old books. Some titles are in other languages (lots of German), and some are behind locked glass doors (the truly rare stuff), but most are fun, random old books with worn pages and aged leather bindings. Looking through them is fun and could help you kill a few hours for sure. So, whether you're looking for a special, rare find (in the hundreds of dollars), or in it for the look of old books on your pristine shelves ($10 and $20 aisles!), this deceptively large rare book shop should have you covered. And did I mention the hundreds of art prints?? Oh yeah, count on another hour sifting through those!

The second he read off to me about the photos and the reviews. I said OK let's switch the GPS to go to this location. To say "I'm glad I went" would be an understatement. When we first arrived, I quickly realize it's a small town that it's located in but a warming aesthetic, standing from the outside looking in you can just tell it's nothing but treasures awaiting to be found. From the warm greeting from Tom himself, down to him taking notice to the people that walk in and placing a track on the player they may like or even if they ask for certain artists record, he will go and run and put that on for them which I thought was extremely caring, but it also let me know how much he cares about the people who come in, what he do, and how his store is ran. He was kind enough to recommend places for my husband and I to visit in London for our honeymoon. I really enjoyed mingling with other people who share alike interests in this shop. Tom has created a great community place to meet new people and perhaps make new friendships. I adore all he has in his shop its the black hole of records or doom scroll of records lol. I drive 1hr and 7 mins from Maryland just to come to this store; Rock and Roll Graveyard is a great 36min spot from me but this one I fell in love with. Thank you Tom!
