The owner and his wife always greet you as you walk through the door. As others have said, it is predominantly a music and gun shop but I will add to that, coins and some jewelry. Their pricing is average, not high, not low. What I really like is that you get a sense that it is an honest business and these are members of the community who represent it well. As with any pawn shop, know the value of what you have or what you are looking for and they are willing to strike a fair deal for both parties. I recently made a trade with them and was very happy with the deal we made. I have always been treated well in this business as a browser and look forward to my relationship with then as an ongoing customer

I parked on the east side of the pawn shop in the shade, because there is no shade at the barbershop, and by law he couldn't let me bring Emma in. The owner of the pawn shop came out telling me to move, even though my pickup wasn't in anyone's way, and the temperature was over 100 degrees. I showed her my little dog, and she said she didn't care, I needed to go park in the sun.

It's a lot, around 500,000 dollars per year. A contractor friend then told us about Boys and Girls of America, so we started taking things there. We learen everything earned at the resale shop (on 377) stays in Hood County. Nice. Then our neighbor started volunteering at People Helping People (PHP), which we did not know about. We identified more with PHP and what they do. No one gets paid. It's all 100% volunteer, all the way to the top. We even saw a past Granbury mayor volunteering here! So now we take our items to PHP, and have even shopped here. There are two, indoor, resale shops. When we need something, we come here first. I found a great pair of matching cufflinks and tie bar here. Thúy got some nice knives to use in the garden and some cake pans. So now PHP is our go to place for donating, and shopping for hard to find items. On my most recent trip in, I was looking for a new cowboy hat. One of mine blew off and got stepped on by Wyatt. It left an unsightly dent on the front of the brim. The sales lady asked if I had the hat saying she might be able to reshape it.... In a manner of 5 minutes, she had it reshaped and looking almost as good as new! Even better, when I asked her how much for fixing my hat? Her reply was "Free!" It's a service they supply when you purchase hats there! What a great value!! To my surprise I saw, whom I assume was the owner in an OU shirt! Well, I had to take a picture, and you will see in online. We talked for a few minutes and I told him that I graduated from OU and showed him my tattoo. It was cool that we both had the OU fight song as our ring tone for a family member. Absolutely NO !!! Would give it a zero but that wasn't an option…read more I DO NOT RECOMMEND CLEBURNE GOODWILL. Take the short drive & shop the *****BURLESON GOODWILL*****. A 5 star staff. Cleburne on-site manager is rude, hateful, and discriminates in enforcement of company policies. When items are pointed out to her that are in violation of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act, she verbally lies and says that she will have the tags description changed, and does not. This used to be my favorite store. It is obvious that the on-site manager has no idea how to build team spirit. Employees have left due to hostile work environment. You can also see that the remaining employees are working in a tense atmosphere. For a time period there were even signs, put on furniture for sell, not allowing you to sit down. For which I was reprimanded by manager. So anyone, including older and handicapped individual had nowhere to rest before continuing to shop. As a handicapped individual, I had to bring my walker in ( which I don't need as I can navigate with just a cane), so I had seating to rest while shopping. Awkward to navigate that with a shopping cart. Seriously, CORPORATE GOODWILL this is strike #2 in selecting managers for the Cleburne Goodwill. Also, and I have photos for documentation, despite numerous conversations with manager,multiple problems that customers encounter are not corrected. To test electrical items, the location of the outlets allowed are either nonfunctional or so low to the ground, that I have personally observed people sitting on floor to test things, and then needing assistance to get up. P.S. If corporate sees this,please remember how long it took you to realize about manager mistake #1...when you were warned at least 6 months before you finally took action.
