The service at Uncle Ike's is fantastic. When you come in, everyone is welcoming and kind, they have a staff with an excellent customer service skills when it comes to listening to what is being sought out by the customer; strain, company, sativa/hybrid/indica, the form products come in, what cannabinoids are needed, etc. I have yet to go in and not feel informed and can see that the staff educate themselves with their products and cannabis itself. They're great at getting orders done rather quickly, even when it seems they're having a peak in customers. Then, of course, there is the plethora of different companies products and really cool accessories, pipes, stickers, and vapes. There's no shortage of different products to take your time to look over. The cost of their products is worth it, and it's all priced accordingly to the quality of the product. Great floor staff, absolutely terrible website user interface and way too much generative AI for their artwork. Marijuana should have a relationship with artists, not with crappy generative LLM shit, and your weed does taste worse for it. Edit: Stop acting like generative AI is anything other than plagiarism. Your 'artist' clearly utilized MidJourney, an application that stole art in order to fill it's database. Your website is a joke and your art is literally only able to exist because of artwork stolen by a machine without permission or knowledge from the original artists. If you can name the actual artist, maybe I'll buy what you're saying, but even if it isn't, any artist would and should be deeply insulted that their work is comparable to generative LLM work. Your banner has been around for roughly 3 years, which is when the AI craze began to pick up steam. If your art is not AI, then source it to the artist who can prove that they did not use machine learning to generate these and other more recent images off of your website (which, to the main point, is broken beyond belief. A teenager in the 90s could code better). The gentrification of marijuana culture is disgusting and lives strong in Ike's, and honestly, with Ike's business model and management, I won't be surprised if they ever discuss using those repulsive tesla robots in place of their workers, which are genuinely the only reason to go into a shop. I just moved right around the corner from Belltown, been going to this Ike for weeks. Never had any issues until this new old lady budtender refuses to accept my Vietnamese-ID, then proceed say you guys got in trouble for it. She was so rude and acted very racist. I felt disrespected because I was never given a good reason to be refused service, or getting a manager out to talk. My ID a valid ID with clear English on it to provide DoB and Credentials. I have always used that for bars and other dispensary ( Kemps & other Ike's) The business has terrible customer service, you want our money but you want to treat your loyal customers. I think I will stop using your service because there is literally another dispensary next to you :) I hope you take this as a good opportunity to reflecting on training your staffs ( I'm talking to you lady!) to better accommodate for immigrants/foreigners read more

Ah, the enshitification of Ikes is complete. They want you to use the app. I don't want to install an app to buy pot, so I use their website. Website pricing and data is off and they won't honor the prices on the site, they say well it's this much on the app. Budtenders are clearly tired of it as well and have had all joy sucked out of their jobs, while just pushing whatever old product they have on sale at the moment without any real regard for what customer is asking about. Understaffed as well, it's not unusual to only have one tender out front even during peak hours. I won't be back and Ruckus next door will work just fine. This is one of the best dispensaries in Seattle proper. The staff is super knowledgeable and not out to scam or deceive. They know their product and rely on one another when needed. They have a large selection of products. I came for prerolls and vapes. Everything I had was of excellent quality. And even though I stocked up, I spent right at $100. Following that, I was welcomed by Bandit, who was so friendly, helpful and personable. Bandit made suggestions on products based on what I was looking for, and it was fun chatting about our cats and made for such an enjoyable experience. Although I've heard mixed reviews about ownership of this chain of dispensaries, I would be happy to visit again in the hopes of another friendly, fun experience with the lovely staff from last night! It's great to have a plethora of weed shops nearby. It's less great when you go to make a trip to two of them close together, and one of them tags you with a huge sticker on your car for parking in the lot. I've spent so much money at Ike's. Really disappointed this is how they would treat their customers. When I asked for help to get the sticker off, which was huge and slapped on my drivers side door, I was told to try dish soap. Mind you I just paid $22 for the premium Ike's car wash a couple days ago. It's rude and I won't be spending any more money at Ike's. You can get the same product at any other dispensary. read more

Generally speaking Ike's has proven in my direct and repeated experience to be my worst option. While they do offer an extensive inventory, their bud tenders have demonstrated in our conversations that they are either completely ignorant of what they are offering, and/or they have been overbearing, obnoxious and arrogant- seemingly considering themselves health practitioners or cannabis scientists. I have had a budtender tell me that because he was an "expert" my personal experience of a product wasn't valid and "I was disrespecting him" by simply asking for a different product I had enjoyed many times. I literally had to argue to buy what I wanted- and then deal with his sullen self the rest of the interaction. Then, their complete lack of an inclusion of social justice principles in their business model is a real deal breaker for me. After hearing discussion from friends and acquaintances who work in the local cannabis business that Ikes' Pot Shop team engages in ruthless business practices, I did some googling and found several local news articles that backed up the things I'd heard about. I can't paste the articles in here or I'll be accused of political speech by others who have flagged this review... Let's just say I value fair businesses that operate with a mind towards being an ethical community member - my personal knowledge of them says otherwise. This business has not treated me well even when I brought my personal experiences as complaints to their management. Then, I know they base their business on anything but what I would consider a sense of fair play or conscious business practices   Sure, I could give him more of my money (he doesn't need it), but plenty of other cannabis small business owners do. So, I found shops owned/operated by other locals who are great with the public, offer great products and fair prices. Additionally, based on my direct experience, these shops are owned and managed by diverse people from diverse communities engaging in conscious business practices For all these reasons, I cannot recommend Ike's. read more
