Security is smart mouth, and agressive. They ganged up on me because I accidentally hit a car in their parking lot and apparently they thought I was going to try to leave the scene or something?.. I have a valid driver license and insurance, which I'm mentioning because when I spoke on the phone to their manager of security he assumed and literally accused me of not having either. The security at Uncle Ikes in White Center blindside punched me two times because I told one of them to calm down before a fight started. The security that punched me, punched me with my back to him, in the back of my head!!... I reported it to their "head of security" [Chad] and he aggressively called me names over the phone and said that they would charge me with assault for "insighting violence on their property". They claim that I was endangering their security but I was actually trying to walk away as they escalated the situation. I was literally trying to avoid violence and walk away. I never touched anyone and the coward of a security guard hit me with my back to him! I reported it to the police and I just thought I'd let everyone know the risks you take visiting one of their stores. For some real good, high quality options, may I suggest instead Kush 21 near Seatac airport. Really long waits to view product, and when you finally get to the counter, it seems they didn't actually wanna help you in the first place. I was pleasantly surprised with the wide selection of Cannabis and CBD products. The store was very clean, team was very educated, and I didn't feel rushed! Most places you go these days they want you in and out. Not at Uncle Ikes. I had bought some indica Joints, they had accidentally gave me stativa. Brought them back and Lina handled it very respectfully and replaced then with the correct ones. Terrible experience, and unreliable products. I bought an AiroPro Distillate Cartridge - even let the budtender up-sell me to the larger cartridge. The cart stopped working in both of my batteries after the 2nd day. No problem I thought, they have a 10 day return policy on defective products and I still have my receipt. Not so fast - I go into the shop hoping to exchange my $45 dollar cart, talk to the manager Crystal, and am promptly told to go home since I didn't have the disposable packaging the cartridge comes in. This shady places wants you to hold onto your trash in order to return their unreliable products. Not just the receipt, but the paper and plastic you have to tear up in order to get to the cartridge, and they expect you to keep this trash around for up to 10 days! This policy is a joke and clearly a loophole created to provide an opportunity for Uncle Ikes stick you with their sub-par products. There's plenty of weed shops in this area, one across the street even. Go anywhere else - the service at Uncle Ike's has gone way down and they don't deserve our money for such bad policies. read more

However after showing security my ID & walking in I was greeted by the friendly staff. Krystal ended up helping me & after explaining my dilemma she gave me some suggestions for edibles to try out & a few of her favorite pre-rolls. I told her I don't need much because I only need it to help relieve some pain to which she showed me other products that I can use too. After my visit to Uncle Ike's today, I've decided I will no longer give my hard earned money to a place that does NOT value me as a customer. I usually make an excuse for them that they are busy and that's why the customer service sucks. I walked in today and I was literally the only customer in the store and I still feel like I'm a burden to help. You have to ask to see everything and hardly ever get suggestions, or hear the deals of the day or any info really, I receive better service at McDonalds. Customer service is lacking this day and age but it's completely dead when it comes to Uncle Ike's!!! First of all, I absolutely love this chain of stores. The prices and selection are unmatched and all the employees have better than average customer service (for the most part). I specially want to mention Ben Wright at the white center location for being such an excellent bud tender, I look forward to him helping me when I go the store. With that said, I am getting frustrated with the extreme difference in product availability from store to store. The white center location is just down the street from my house, but they seem to have far less extracts than the other locations. I have been driving 30 minutes into capital hill because they have a much greater variety and supply of extracts for dabbing. Why is that? Can we redirect some of the extract surplus at other stores to the white center one so I don't have to keep driving into the city every time? It's a bummer to check all the other locations and see that their online menu has so many more options than my local white center location. read more

I've been coming to this place for months and I bought a disposable pen for the first time on January 8th. I opened the packaging on Jan 9th and was able to take a couple of hits before the battery needed to be charged. Since I had already taken some hits I thought it worked fine, so I threw the packaging in to the recycle (which also happened to be picked up that day). I charged it for about an hour and when I pulled out the charger, the whole battery came out of the vape. I didn't know what to do, so I just left it that way and went in to the store today with the vape and my receipt. I was assured by the first employee I spoke with that they would at least be able to do an exchange, but when the manager Hannah came over she asked me for the packaging. When I told her I didn't have it she immediately refused to help me. She didn't even try to offer any other solution, no exchange, not even store credit? Again I did have my receipt with me, but she didn't even look at it. The way she shut me down so quickly made me never want to come back, which is sad because this one of the closer dispensaries to me. Ever since it first opened the staff has been great. They are always helpful and knowledgeable. The store is always clean and I'm impressed with the new upgrades to the building. Recently went in and Salvador was very friendly and helpful. He was quick to recommend me a product listening to what I was looking for and keeping it in my price range. WORST experience i've ever had at any dispensary ever. DO NOT GO HERE. I came in to get some flower, dabs, and cartridges. Ron was the bud tender who helped me. Although a very nice guy, he was not very knowledgeable about the products. Every question I asked he was unsure and spent a lot of time trying to ask others and still got no answers because the other staff was busy. I asked him if they had any specials for first timers there and he said no-- they don't have any sorts of discounts ever. I saw a pop up on their TV screen with a "text for specials deal" and found a 10% discount for first timers. I told Ron and he said OK, he'll put that on there. As he rung up the total I reminded him about the discount and he said yup! Again, right before I handed him the money I said "is the 10% on there?" to which he replied "Yup, it's all on there!" I paid over 300$ for my final order. The next morning I glanced at my receipt and realized the discount was not applied. This was obviously quite frustrating because I double AND triple checked with Ron that he put it on there, and for a 300+$ order, 10% is a decent chunk of money. Also, I live over an hour away so to drive back to get the discount refund is very inconvenient. I called the shop to tell them what happened and to make sure they would refund the 10% to me before I drove all the way out there. I spoke with Robert-- the on duty manager. Again, a nice enough guy, but he told me "I think so, but you'd have to talk to our upper manager- Ben." I told him I'd like to have his word that they would make it right before I drove out there, but all he could say was "Im not sure, I can't make any promises" I asked if there was any way they could refund it remotely and send over a venmo or something (which I knew was highly unlikely, but figured it couldn't hurt to ask) and Robert proceeded to laugh at me over the phone. As a manager, I would expect him to be knowledgeable and helpful-- which he wasn't-- and at the very least to give the customer respect. Laughing at a customer is simply horrible customer service and not okay by any means. After coming to the conclusion that Robert, even as a manager, was not knowledgeable enough to help me, I drove to the store to speak with Ben. Ben refunded the 10% discount, however never really apologized for the inconvenience. Ben was the only one I interacted with who seemed to know what he was doing at all. After speaking with Ben and receiving my 10% refund, I was going to leave the store frustrated, however more or less satisfied since they made their wrong right. Here is where it gets REALLY BAD. As I walk out of the store, the security guard (not sure of her name) begins to yell at me as I walk to my car. She says "don't come back to this dispensary" "find a new pot shop" "go somewhere else if you're so dissatisfied". Frankly-- I'm not even sure how she knew about my whole situation or why she was mad about it. I turned around and asked her if she was talking to me to which she replied "yeah, I'm allowed to talk" and then made a shoo-ing motion with her hands. Simply, trashy. I pulled back around in my car to confront her horrible behavior and I had my camera out. She said that she would not repeat what she said before because she was on camera, and kept calling me a "karen". The disrespect I experienced at this store was absolutely mind boggling, I'm honestly not sure how they manage to stay in business with such an incompetent staff. Again, DO NOT GO HERE. My first time there was right before close and they sold me a PAX cartridge that contained "natural flavoring" without me realizing (I felt bad I was in there so late and didn't want to keep them). When I got home I immediately realized and tried to return it unopened with receipt the next day and they won't take it back - even with all that is going on with vaping and the lung disease right now. All I wanted was to exchange it for something without additives. I even talked with an assistant manager (very nicely) and nope. I'd much rather got to the Bakeree in G-town. I think these guys get somewhat of a bum rap just based on where the physical location store is. The parking lot can be a bit scary and there are a lot of homeless, riff-raff, seeding looking people that hang around the strip mall complex they are located in. The staff is just ok, polite but not necessarily friendly. Their bud tenders have a basic knowledge of the product they are selling but I would not call them experts by any stretch of the imagination. They learn something new from me every time I go in there, lol. The selection is good and they have a pretty cool glass area. Prices are ok as well - not the best prices of the quality/quantity but reasonable for the neighborhood. They are open @ 8am so that is cool but other than that they are just basic. read more

I would never consider using Yelp except Uncle Ike's offers to give me a 15% discount if you make a review. How ironic that I will never redeem any coupons from them place again. And in light of that I would say that the rating given to uncle ikes is skewed by people looking for 15 percent off their next purchase there in a week attempt on their part to up their social media value and reputation. I have spent thousands of dollars at Uncle Ike's , and they have repeatedly given me poor customer service and/or the wrong product. Yesterday when I went to Uncle Ike's I bought one gram of flower, 1 gram of dab and a syringe full of distillate. The Man Behind the Counter was very friendly and put everything in a bag for me. When I got home, and opened up the bag, the syringe was broken and all of the distillate was smeared across the inside of the cellophane package. I didn't think this would be a big issue considering the package was still unopened and it was obvious there was a problem. When I got there, however, I was soon insulted by the manager. The first thing out of his mouth, "what did you do to this!?" in an accusatory tone. " There's no way that left the store like this! " i didn't even get to explain that I hadn't even touched it or looked at it until I got it home and now he insulted my intelligence and integrity. Yes I lost my temper and made a scene. This wasn't the first in fact it was at least the fourth time I had taken issue with the service or products coming from this store. I have been given the wrong product twice before when I had specifically asked for something else. And I have been shortchanged there. Never have they directly solved any issues. Only blanket coupons for a per cent off the next purchase and "sorrys". The time they shortchanged me I was broke and they would only give me a joint to replace the $$. It was a bottom shelf joint. Maybe I should wise up and not spend my money at places like this and maybe I should grow up and not throw scenes in public but I refuse to shop at a place that doesn't value me as a customer and treats me as disposable. Uncle Ike's has a big enough customer base that they seem to be okay with losing customers. Therefore I have kicked myself out permanently and will not go back. I feel every time I walk in the door I am greeted and taken care of quickly and efficiently. All of the budtenders know the products extremely well and are always able to guide me to what I am seeking. And are always willing to offer suggestions of their favorite products, as well as discuss new products with me that they think I might enjoy.
