Very large selection. Staff is friendly and ready to help find anything, answer some questions and even provide an opinion. It's close by so I'll drop in if I need something that could be hard to come by. Prices are good as well, not as cheap as Trickum Package though. The same bottle of vodka will be $2-3 more at Jack's. Nothing to drive out of the way for though. In lieu of craft beers, they have decent selection. If you can't find it at the Kroger or Publix they'll probably have it. Nice selection of ciders as well. I don't drink wine so I can't comment. Tons of vodkas, from the lows to the highs. A lot of midrange choices like Smirnoff and Svedka. Which if you're debating between the two, go with Svedka. They also have some that are harder to come by. They have almost (if not all) of the Smirnoff flavored vodkas, great for mixing. They'll save you some $ so you don't need anymore mixers for say.. an appletini or something with cranberry. Clean place, friendly staff and good prices. Best place in Canton I believe. read more

Cool little out of the way liquor store. Spoke with who I imagine is the owner. We talked for awhile about bourbon. Very good conversation. It's fun to talk to people that are passionate about what they do. read more

If you want to give your hard earned money to a place with employees that treat customers so badly and like your business does not matter...this is the place for you. However, when I requested a certain beer they said they would get me a price and get back to me. If they're willing to order certain beers I ask for, I'll be a regular for sure! read more

I used to buy my liquor here but three things changed my mind. First as you walk to the front door, the employees sit in rocking chairs and smoke cigarettes like nobody's business! As a result, you now smell like an ashtray! Next, their liquor is about 15%-20% higher in price than their competitors. Best liquor store in Cherokee Co. The owners and managers know so much about the products they carry and are useful in helping you find what you need, or something similar. They can also so special orders for products they don't usually carry. Large selection. Always someone to greet you at the door. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. First off, upon entering, nobody even looked at me, let alone greeted me. Since I was going to an event, I was looking for a higher end wine. While browsing the ridiculously cluttered store, I finally caved and asked the front clerk if they had any recommendations. This person knew absolutely NOTHING about wine and kept pointing me to 15.99 and 19.99 wine when I clearly wanted to spend much more. You could tell they wanted to do anything but help me. So naturally, I left empty handed. Since I am not from the area, I had to drive around and finally found a store down the street that had an 2005 opus one. I would avoid uncle jacks at all cost. They were very RUDE! They only had the small bottles of rose grenadine. I was making a large amount of these vodka slushie drinks, so I needed a lot. My friend was going to get one, and I thought, "might as well be safe and have more than I need, rather than not enough." So I decided to buy another bottle. We get up to the counter, and the young female employee behind the counter said, "how much grenadine do you think you're going to need?" In a condescending, sny manner. She continued with her sny tone by saying, "you know it's 99 percent sugar, right?" I replied with, "I could always save it for later" (which I have done in the past). She didn't say anything else about it, instead she replied with making faces towards the cash register, as if to say "whatever you want to do, but it's a stupid choice." Well guess what? I put the grenadine back. She made me, THE CUSTOMER, feel so stupid and inferior, that I put back the product, AND THEY LOST A SALE. I've been giving them my service for years. I ONLY went there. Well, no longer will I be going there. You have lost my service, and made a customer feel awful ON HER BIRTHDAY. read more

Friendly staff, owners David and Ron are always eager to help; The wine selection is great tons of wines to select with great ratings and prices. Was impressed to see that offerings on the liquor side. Was super stoaked they carried Hangar One Vodka and all the flavors and were by far cheaper then Total. Great place. I went in looking for the hard to find Pappy and of course they didnt have it (no one does) they gave me some great reccomendations and the Four Roses Single Barrel was everything they said. The owners were very knoweledgable and didnt just try to push some expensive product on me. I will reccomend Uncle Jacks to all my friends. read more

Called in requesting a price quote on Crystal Head vodka, was put on hold for a minute and was told it was $39.99 for 750mL. I thought this was a great price since Alpharetta Total Wine has it on their web site for $44.99. When I went in to purchase it less than an hour later, it was $49.99. I asked the clerk to check with the manager and ended up asking him to come up and talk to me. The clerk was irritated that I asked and said, "he's not going to sell it to you anyway for that price". Subsequently the manager said he was 900% sure he told me $49.99 over the phone. I informed him I was a 1000% sure he told me it was $39.99. To break the impasse I asked him to at least match the Alpharetta price and he said that they didn't do that. So if you like higher prices, or if you appreciate no attempt to resolve a miscommunication or poor customer experience, shop at Uncle Jack's in Canton! read more
