We stayed here overnight while we were in the area. I called the morning of arrival and asked if…read morethey could have our room ready before the normal check in time since we had an event to attend an hour later and we didn't want to rush getting ready. They said it wasn't a problem and the check in process was very easy with the manager behind the counter upon arrival. Our room had two queen beds, a fridge, microwave, a TV, drawers, and a bathroom with a shower. My daughter stepped on a couple small pieces of glass and pebble stones that was stuck on the carpet in the room and ended up getting a small cut. We addressed it with the staff and let them know since it was very hard to find in the Berber carpet and we had to run our hands in it really good to find what it was. The vacuum cleaner may not have picked it up when they cleaned the room prior since it was stuck in there really good. The continental breakfast is always a nice touch. There was a selection of coffee and juices for the beverages. The food items consisted of a waffle bar, different types of pastries, and breakfast foods to choose from.

It's now the Hampton Inn by Hilton now (maybe was before, don't know) . The rooms are gorgeous. Updated, lovely amenities, nicely decorated, quiet AC, black out pull down shades and light filtering shades, glass barn door sliding shower door, (no nasty shower curtain) large full size mirror, super comfy bed and pillows, nice TV, desk, charging outlets on both sides of bed, mini fridge and micro with in room coffee service. Quiet. Nice staff. Used the phone check in and they have a digital entry key so no need to stop at desk and a tap on phone opens the room door, no more little plastic cards. In its class of hotels and in central Florida 5 stars. Also the little restaurant The Next Corner Tapas and wine bar is excellent. On Owen Street just across the Sugarland a block down on left side. Dint be put off by the weird exterior. Pix below of restaurant, just woke so our room is too messy for pix

This is an outdated/rundown resort. They are trying to lure older people here with discount golf on…read morea burned out golf course. The rooms are something straight out of the 1970s. We travel a lot (my wife is a travel nurse). We stay at a lot of Hilton and Marriotts. We also use RCI to stay in Resorts across the country. Lynn Trueblood (Front desk receptionist) notified my wife that they kept our $150 'security deposit' secondary to 'dirty towels/linens/dog hair.' "Dear guest Your deposit was kept for the extra cleaning needed by housekeeping. I will also send you pictures of the ruined towels in the room." Lynn Trueblood Lehigh Resort Club Front Desk Supervisor" The towels were not ruined and any Resort could easily wash normal use of towels. The minimal dog hair is normal cleaning at any Resort/Hotel/Motel. Lynn then had the audacity to tell me that no resort would put up with the condition we left the room in. She then sent me pictures of dirty towels and dog hair claiming it took the housekeeper 'hours' to clean the room (pictures attached). This is the most absurd thing that I've ever come across. She wrote this via email "I also stay at a lot of resorts and none of them would put up with the condition that you left our room in." Like I stated above, this place is obviously desperate for money. It is sad that they have to stoop that low as to keep people's security deposit and try to make guests feel like they left the room in a filthy condition when they did not. Not to mention that their housekeepers do not speak English and are very rude. Something ICE needs to look into I've been traveling full time with my wife for the last 3 years with my service dog and not one place has ever complained about our cleanliness or attempted to keep our security deposit. We are disputing the charges and we will escalate the situation. Very disappointing. We will obviously never be staying here again. Attached are the photos that she sent me via email on 'destroyed towels & dog hair that took hours to clean.' This kind of stuff needs to go to upper management to have people like this reviewed and reprimanded. I think I'll be the guy to make sure that happens.

It was two master bedrooms with their own private baths. There was also a guest bath. A good sized kitchen and eating area. Also a spacious living room. The screened in lanai overlooking a beautiful lake. The swimming pool with hot tub and kiddie pool all were so beautiful and clean. There also was a nice tiki bar but unfortunately due to COVID it was not operational. This place has a beautiful golf course along with nice recreational stuff todo. A beautiful hidden gem in Lehigh.

Also, we could tell that an experienced chef was in the kitchen because the food that we had was on another level! So flavorful! And typically when our group rents a conference room from certain large international hotel chains that are more well-known, we have to do the decorations. It was a relief not having to do that here, it allowed those in the planning crew of our group to have a more enjoyable experience. They did a great job with the decorations. I am beyond pleased with my experience here and will definitely come back!

BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS! NOT Better Business Bureau! I had to register them myself with the BBB to…read morefile my complaint. Here is a copy of my BBB complaint: On Wednesday, Feb. 9th, 2022, a friend and I stayed as a hotel/inn guest at Port LaBelle Inn checking in at 10pm and leaving at 10am the following morning. Everything went smoothly until I checked my bank account on Monday, Feb. 14th and discovered an additional charge to my account of $165. I called Port LaBelle and asked about the charge. The woman on the phone told me it was a smoking fee for smoking in the room. I NEVER SMOKED IN MY ROOM. I was told when checking in that smoking was only permitted outside. Outside was the ONLY place I smoked a cigarette. When asked what evidence she had that I smoked in their room, I was told to "have a nice day." I asked to speak to the manager on duty and again was told "have a nice day." She repeatedly said I smoked in their room over and over without any substantiating evidence. I told her I will dispute the charge and file a complaint with the BBB. Here I am filing my complaint. The only thing I can think of is when I had a cigarette outside, as directed by their own staff, there were no ashtrays available. Instead of dropping my cigarette butt on their property, I used one of their disposable coffee cups as an ashtray. When finished, I flushed the contents down the toilet, rinsed out the cup so it didn't get on anything and threw the cup in the trash. If this is their SOLE reason to think I smoked in the room, they are wrong AND that means they rummaged through my trash. I was never told what evidence they had to charge me the $165 for a smoking fee and if they go back to their security cameras that date and time, they would CLEARLY see I ONLY smoked where I was directed to do so by their OWN staff. I feel that I am being wrongly charged and that this practice is a scam to charge guests and insanely high fee. I have disputed the charge with my bank and they are investigating. I would like my $165 refunded and an investigation started involving their recovery house. If they do this to a regular guest, what about them?
