We went to the Glades to buy a used RV and truck and ended up staying for a month. It was all we…read morehoped it would be and we're sorry we could not enjoy all of the activities they usually offer because of Covid. My husband loved the pickle ball courts and the two restaurants on site were absolutely stellar, especially Crumbs where we had many breakfast and dinners. The one time we had pizza we were very satisfied as well. RV years were mostly from Ohio and Michigan and a few Canadians, but that contingent was largely absent due to Covid. All the campers we met were friendly and helpful and the site was impeccable. The front office was especially helpful for providing notary public services for our vehicle purchases. My husband was wild about the pickle ball courts and the great folks that he played with. It was an especially good value for a month and even more so for a year. The pool was lovely and we looked forward to the Wednesday bake sales and farmers market. We would love to go back and might even consider wintering there next year. My only observation as a new RVEr was that the population At Florida RV parks in general was very Caucasian. There were no or very few Hispanics, African-Americans and Asians at the location. It was definitely LGBT friendly. Servers at Crumbs Country restaurant did not wear masks but outside dining was available and very comfortable. The overall belief of the RVers was that Covid had already come through the park and everyone simply distanced or rode by on their golf carts. Almost no one wore a mask.

Reasonable and all in one places to camp or live. Great food entertainment and golf?…read more9 holes and what a great course, then jump on the boat and going fishing or cruising around. Just can't find any campground that is reasonably priced and has all the above amenities.

I decided to use the Hotel Tonight app again after a long break. Check-in was slow while the front desk tried to locate my reservation. They eventually found it after a quick phone call. No stress. This place runs on European efficiency style, very much like an IBIS hotel. Minimal everything. Two towels, small soap, no extras unless you ask. The soap has three holes drilled straight through the middle to reduce waste. Smart move. Everything here is designed to be practical and cost effective, The room feels clean, brand new, and stripped down to the essentials. Feels a bit like a dorm room setup but modern. At this price point and in this area, they'll do well. Traveler tip: book two beds. The single is smaller than expected and feels more like a dorm twin. The TV signal has low bandwidth and the water pressure is weak. Both functional, but not impressive. Parking is great. The area is safe and upscale.

Very clean and nice staff too. However the way that noise travels, we'd never be back. 5am…read moreadjoining room making all kinds of noise. 6am upstairs like a herd of cattle. The floors are vinyl and the walls seem thin. Nice room and studio accommodations, the noise is just a deal killer for us in the future. Comfortable and clean, maybe we just lucked out with exceptionally noisy neighbors. They let us check out at noon since we arrived on a late flight checked in 1:30am. Walkable to Wawa and some other spots.
