Unclog Plumbing did a great job for me. I had an outdoor spigot that was broken. I could not do the job as it required soldering. I called them at about 3 pm on Monday and I expected service within a couple days. They called me at 4:30 same day and showed up shortly after that. They assessed the situation and quoted me the price and promptly fixed that spigot and another one (incoming pipe and lever). Joe and Stephen were the plumbers. I had a blockage in the main sewer line of the house and they did the job professionally, fast and clean, and also did an inspection with a sewer camera that there was no break in the piping. My first experience working with the owner of Good Samaritan Plumbing was a positive one. I even…read morereferred several people to him. Since then, he had one of his very abrasive and verbally abusive employees come to our home to work on our plumbing issues. This person was very abrupt and rude to us on a previous occasion, and we had asked the owner to not send this person out to us in the future. Unfortunately, the rude abusive plumber was sent out to us once again. This time he started screaming and yelling at both my husband and myself, because we were not interested in having him fix the toilet, but replace it with the new one that we had purchased. The rude plumber almost immediately became angry and started yelling at my husband and I because we did not want to have him clean and repair the toilet as HE wanted. We hired him to replace the toilet and put in a new disposal. Since he became very aggressive and verbally abusive almost immediately, we asked him to leave. He would not leave our home, so I told him that if he did not leave, I would call the police. He then proceeded to sit out in his vehicle in front of our home, for approximately 15 minutes. My husband called the owner and told him what was going on. In the interim, I called the office and also let them know the situation. The person I spoke to, told me that this man has had several complaints and said that he would most likely be let go.The owner called me later on and apologized, but he also said that the story that the abusive plumber told him, was different than the facts I had relayed to him. He also said that he's known this man for a long time, considered him a friend, and that he was not looking forward to the difficult conversation he was going to have to have with him. I told the owner, Dave, that this is not a "he said she said" scenario, and I thought it best that we find a different plumbing company for our needs. The owner apologized again, and said that he would call us in a couple of days and set up a time for him personally to come out and perform the job that we initially hired them to do. We heard NOTHING from Dave, the owner, after that. Sadly, under the circumstances, I do not recommend this plumbing company due to their lack of professional conduct and outlandishly rude behavior of the employee they sent to our home twice now.

Before the visit, we were told the gas line would be tested (including bubble testing). When the technician arrived, the visit lasted under 10 minutes and consisted mainly of conversation. No bubble test, pressure test, or diagnostic equipment was used during that visit. We were billed $99, and the invoice stated the "gas line is fine," despite no testing being performed at that time. After we raised concerns, follow-up communication acknowledged that: * The odor appeared to be coming from the rear vents of the oven * Ricco's Plumbing does not work on appliances * We should contact TECO for further evaluation Given the seriousness of potential gas or carbon monoxide issues, we expected a more thorough diagnostic approach during the initial visit. We ultimately requested a refund because services beyond a brief discussion were not rendered. Staff were polite and responsive, but for gas or CO concerns, customers should confirm exactly what testing will be performed before scheduling.
