Previously impressed. Not now! 4. Took 6 weeks to get a missing mail slot part from an order. 5. Nothing at Ferguson worked - from new phone system that receptionist stated always showed people out, no supervisors available in multiple departments on multiple occasions to help with problem, sales support and customer service not returning calls as promised. Warehouse not being able to find lost part. The list is endless!!!! 6. No accountability. I don't plan on using them again. I am now looking for a new source.

I have heard many great things about this place and see their work every time I see reunion tower (The building downtown that lights up and that looks like big ball on a stick) Anyways when I first told them what I was looking for I didn't mention what it was for and to my shock they recommended another company that possibly have what I thought I wanted. As I was leaving they asked what I was needing the LEDs for and to my surprise they had a much better way of achieving my goal by using these flexible LED lights that diffuse the light giving a nice glow instead of choppy spots everywhere. Needless to say it ended up costing a fraction of what my original plans called for and looked better than I could have possibly imagined.

We were a bit pressed for time, so we didn't get to really look at everything, other than to take a quick look through the warehouse. The warehouse is a real sensory overload. They also have yard sculpture pieces outside that I did not look at. They have good prices on some really good looking cabinets, as well as doors of all kinds. We have a older house, and so will be slowly renovating. DHW will be our first priority of places to come to for that vintage look, as well as the current stuff. Maria was very nice to show me around, and we were stunned at how much stuff they have.

The Fanimation Pylon is not very expensive (about $170) compared to other fans that run $300 and up. The fan in modern looking, chic, operates quietly, cools even in lowest setting and to top it off it has an LED light that you can dim. Fanimation had a problem with some fans early in 2017, but that has been corrected. Customer service was great, and happy to help me with any questions. Definitely will buy again for my next ceiling fan project.

In order to wring a bit more performance out of my 1993 300zx, I decided to port and upgrade my…read moreheads. The stock heads are already well built so I knew I had to find a high quality machine shop. I visited two other local shops at first but neither would inspect the heads or quote me a solid price for the work when I visited. Both also lacked experience in head porting. Another shop wouldn't even bother taking my calls or returning my emails. Speed Specialties really stepped up to take on the job. They even took the time to compare two similar castings right when I stopped by. Their shop is quite clean and materials are kept organized. After a couple weeks of constant porting, I was treated with some of the best looking ports I've ever seen. Then, the guys completed the 4+ way valve job with a precision valve cutting machine. They also installed some Ferrea valves, JWT valve springs, JWT mild cams, viton stem seals, and new lifters. Through the process, both Garys kept me in the loop. When finished with the work, they walked me through the entire process as well as how/where material was removed. After installing my heads, both aligned perfectly to the lower intake. A leak-down test revealed no leakage through the valves. The finished heads are more than quality products, they're precise, high performance works of art. I know where I'm taking my next engine projects. Great work!

Are you looking for antique light fixtures, old books and unique European antiques? They have it! You know how when you are eating in Bennigans and you would ask yourself "where did they get those old ice skates, skis and humongous canoes?" They probably got it here! They have everything from antique china, furniture, antique fire extinguishers and antique sports equipment. This place is AMAZING! They even deliver larger pieces. I was in search of a bench. I called U.M. and over the phone a gentleman helped me and went as far as taking pictures and emailing them...now THAT is fantastic customer service, that sadly is not often found! I highly recommend this store for those decorating enthusiasts that want to find either the perfect accessory or gift for the person who has everything...I guarantee you will find something they DONT have! Note: They have moved locations to have more room...I am SO excited to see the new place! So be sure and call to get the new locations directions and contact info, so you have their number in your cell in case you are not familiar with Dallas. Thanks Jon W. for the great review! We do want to clarify one thing though - the 'labels' are actually transfers from the Victorian age. They are older than most anything in our store. We bought out a full supply of them years ago in England. We research heavily before we apply them to any surface (mostly old, some newer) making sure we stay true to designs we see in history. read more
