I normally don't do the same spot twice on vacation but the superfood acai bowl was so amazing yesterday I had to come back. I decided to go for a sammy and the Marley bowl this time. I think I almost wish they had like double size acai bowls because while the sandwich was good... it... wasn't an amazing as the acai bowls. Seriously. If you're hungry enough for a sandwich and a bowl just get two bowls I think I would do a double of that superfood one if I could. read more

If your looking for a spot with some legit smoothie and acai bowls then this is your place. I wandered here looking for a smoothie because I was dying of heat - so glad I did! The environment is intimate and dressed in some indie-boho interior decor. The cost seemed a bit steep but like they say you pay for what you get - in this case fresh fruits and veggies. Good customer service- takes a bit but wasn't outrageous. Ended up coming back here throughout my short stay in south beach. Try the the iron man smoothie it is so refreshing! They had other sandwiches and breads that I hadn't tried but they are all veggie friendly. read more

I was so hopeful for this acai bowl but I was disappointed. The place is beautiful, it has indoor and outdoor seating. The price is Miami Beach prices, overpriced. $11 for a Classic Acai Bowl and $13 for a Superfood Acai Bowl. The toppings were good but the acai was watery and warm on some parts. Simply the best vegan/natural/vegetarian cafe in South Beach, this expanded store is sent out a group of their wonderful local secrets that used to be on 6th street. Everything is made to order from unbelievable smoothies with hemp powder and organic fruit to green drinks that can be customized with health shots of ginger and wheat grass and honey. Delicious vegan desserts, the entire very natural wood and airy cafe is filled with greens and flooded with sunlight from 2 large plate glass windows that face the street. When you step in here it feels like you are walking into a natural food café in Santa Monica California instead of being in Miami Beach - Sweet! read more

Hands down the BEST acai bowl I have ever had! I had the Marley Bowl and it was absolutely delicious and was light on my stomach unlike some other acai bowl places I have had. I loved the presentation even when it's to go and the vibe in the actual cafe is so nice. Only reason why I didn't give a 5 star was because I went in there when the place was empty and waited 15 minutes for my bowl, when I went up to the counter they forgot about my order and quickly made it. Would've been lower but the food was so good that it made up for it. Definitely coming here again next time i'm in the area. read more

In a town full of unhealthy food and unlimited drinks it was a breath of fresh air to stumble upon Under the Mango Tree. We were looking for a fresh, healthy, wholesome option one morning and took the walk to Under the Mango Tree and were so happy we did. Their acai bowls are amazing, their drinks are phenomenal and the overall atmosphere is peaceful and gives off good vibes. This place is reasonably priced and delicious. If you are looking for a healthy option and a quick detox from the night before I would highly recommend getting off Ocean Ave a few blocks and check out Under The Mango Tree! read more

With a 5 star ranking on Yelp I had to stop by to try the Acai bowl. Venue:(4/5) The venue is small and has a hipster holistic feel. A smoothie bar for people passing by or finishing their yoga class next door. A definite locals place, because it is not located close to the tourists. A few seats available if you are lucky to come at an offtime. Food: (5/5) Acai bowl is fresh and simply put YUMMY. I've been to Brazil and had acai bowls plenty of times. Delicious and unique acai bowls from some super chilled out ladies. We got the standard Acai Bowl and the Chocolate variation - they both tasted pretty much the same. I had a long Americano since they don't serve drip coffee. Seating is limited and slightly awkward, but we had no issues finding a spot and really enjoyed our experience. read more

This place hits the spot, especially for those hot summer days. You can't go wrong with the classic bowl. The açaí was so cool and refreshing and the fruit was fresh as well. Flies everywhere. I kept swatting them away. Very limited seating. Only two regular tables and then a make shift table. They do have items for purchase which is nice. They did NOT have any water when I went. The lady at the register said "sorry we are out of water at this time". Did not even offer a cup of water. She was actually not nice through out the encounter, kind of ruined the experience for me. Bathroom is nice and clean. The bowl I got was good, dragon fruit base.. they didn't have many add ons.. and it was an extra charge for add ons. We also got the avocado toast, it had cucumber on it and hemp seeds.. nothing spectacular. We also got a salad, it came with a peanut sauce that was good. Decor is cool.. they do have a large tree present inside. read more

Was on south beach in the earlier morning and in the mood for a smoothie. This was the closest place. I got the hulk smoothie with strawberries. Smoothie was okay, tiniest after taste of something I could not identify. Overall good service. However for a 10$ smoothie I was not at all amazed or astounded. Probably will not be back. read more

This is a hidden gem in Miami. Where to begin... The bohemian juice and coffee bar has the best açaí bowls on the beach. Their sandwiches are also really tasty. I absolutely loved the decorations -- many eco-friendly and for sale. The space is small, but extremely cozy. While I was there I saw them handing over a few delivery orders people had called in. After relaxing on the beach my wife and I were looking for açaí bowls and Under the Mango Tree popped up Yelp. The Açaí bowls here are amazing and easily the best açaís bowls I've ever had outside of Hawaii. We ordered the Classic Açaí and the Chocolate Açaí which were recommended by the person who took our order and they were both tasty in their own way. The açaí and fruits were super fresh and much better than anything I can get back home in the DMV area. We'll make sure to stop by again on our next trip to South Beach! read more

On my trip to Miami, my sister found this super cute Juice/Smoothie shop. It's a lovely place to grab a smoothie or an açaí bowl to go. I took a mango smoothie bowl and my sister ate a frozen açaí bowl and it was so good! I have to admit that I usually don't like frozen or just sweet stuff for breakfast but I really enjoyed it. Inspired by nature, I decided to open a small but unique local shop in South Beach, my hometown. My original fascination for earthy style and natural living was personal but soon transformed to the Under the Mango Tree shop. Every product is handmade and most of them are made by locals from our neighborhood. By buying from locals we could all reduce our carbon footprint because it didn't have to travel far The shop is all made by reusable items, from chairs to shelves... Meet the Business Owner: Patty P.

Born in Peru and raised in Miami, I decided to move to South Beach ten years ago. I have a need to be close to the ocean. I always had an urge to learn about ways to heal ourselves by natural ways and positive energy. So I decided to open this Natural Boutique blocks from my apartment to inspire people from my neighborhood. I am my number one customer, I love everything I carry, every single item has been hand picked to get in touch with nature; from handmade - by locals - jewelry to superfoods; like maca, quinoa, spirulina.. The one thing we all hate about going to Miami Beach is that they ask for an additional tip for EVERYTHING. So beware. My order total was $38 for a smoothie and an Acai Bowl. ($20 for the smoothie and $15 for the bowl plus tax) Absolutely insane prices. I did love the layout of this "cafe" they have merch, protein bars, and extra powder additives that you could purchase. But the açai itself had barely any flavor, and within about 20 minutes it had completely melted into liquid. She was told they'd only give her one if she paid for something else, so instead they handed her a cup and spoon. Very interesting looking place with a tree in the middle of their restaurant (one would expect by the name). The prices are very fair for Miami Beach with a lot of variety to choose from including acai, smoothies, juices, melts, coffee, and other items. The only items that were very expensive were the juices at around $10 to $12. Seemed steep considering other FRESH juice spots are around $7 to $8. My daughter made her own juice with apples, oranges, and pineapple for $9. I had the Chocolate Acai Bowl that seemed kind of watered down but it wasn't horrible. Cost a little over $13 with tax. A gentleman next to us had a sandwich melt I think. May come back for that and coffee instead of the acai next time. read more

The smoothies are incredible, healthy, delicious and very tasty. My favorite ones are the strawberry, banana, apple and the healthy antioxidant carrot, beat, orange, apple one. The cakes are the best ones in Miami, my favorite one is the carrot cake, it is a must. They also have cute candles, teas, shea butter, handmade cute jewelry, bikinis. Probably one of the most disappointing açaí places in Miami. Not only was the staff extremely rude, the açaí was overpriced and the taste was awful. The only thing that I was able to taste was the extremely ripe banana in the açaí that left a bitter aftertaste. The bowls are also very small and mine was definitely not as full as the ones pictured in other reviews. I was also charged $1 extra for honey and the amount that they gave me was not worth the price. The business itself was beautiful and had a very cozy ambiance, however the food and employees did not meet the standards. Save yourself the money if you're extremely hungry because you will not get full. read more

came in with my best friend while on our search for a good acai place in miami and i have to say, this is one of the most disappointing ones we've tried. the interior is beautiful and very welcoming as an environment but the staff was a little rude. our bowls weren't as filled as the ones we saw in pictures and in my friend's acai you can taste that the bananas used in them were bad. we cleaned up after ourselves and brought the plates up the one of the workers and she gave us a dirty look which was really confusing. i don't think i'd come here again solely for the fact that the $14 bowl i bought left me hungry and i had to go get food somewhere else. read more

Went to get a smoothie. Waited in line a while when there weren't many people in front of me so left and decided to come by later since I had my dog and had to walk him anyways. Came back at 5:45, doors were open, but the employee told me I couldn't order since they were closing cause they want to clean up. Seriously? Their hours say open until 6. They are usually nice there and the smoothies are good which is why I updated this review to 3 stars, but they really need to get the lines moving faster. They take way too long to take an order and they need to stay true to their hours even if they do need to clean or whatever it may be. read more

I really love this place! I always enjoy juice. It's a little hard to find if you don't know what you're looking for. This is a Very small place, just a small sitting area to wait for your name to be called. The acai bowl Should be everyones top choice! They offer juice and sooooo many other kinds of bowls. This is my favorite juice bar in the world! Not only is the service impeccable, but the decor is very quaint and inviting. unbelievable spot. I'm vegan and visited Miami for a week. Out of all the vegan brunch spots I hit, this was by far my favorite. Great acai bowls (get them "iced"), great avo toast with hemp seed and cucumber, fantastic black coffee, pure ginger shots (other shops put other ingredients into their shots, I like pure ginger), and the best vegan cookies I've ever tasted.
