Guess what happened when I called the following week? You guessed it, told to call back the following week. Basically getting the classic run around, and it's very unfortunate. I had my car towed to this place after reading a few reviews it sounded like they were honest people and my car would be fixed correctly...well to my surprise I was charged 4000 for nothing because my car still has the check engine light on and it's not running correctly and nothing was done that he charged me for but only one thing and that's the headlights. After my husband. Picking up my car from underground he noticed that the car was doing the same thing. So I made an appointment at Mercedes in Kearney mesa, my car was towed to Mercedes and they checked my Mercedes' and diagnosed it that the car needed an alternator and new ignition coils, something that I specifically told underground to check. Instead they focused on my dam headlights. I had to pay Mercedes' 2800 and car drove find after that. It still needs ignition coils replaced, but I feel that underground should give me some of my money back for doing nothing to my Mercedes'.... read more

I found this auto shop while browsing through yelp and Google comments. At first i thought the shop is located in a bunker? Based on its name I guess? I always check the business ratings before making the call. This place has lots of high marks and good remarks. Tim, the Owner and chief mechanic is so assuring of him being able to trouble shoot the problem(s) of my 2002 S430v MB. He definitely assured me that he knew such problems like what my car has. I called some reputable shops but decided to drop them from my choices since they all have that familiar saying "it is really hard to say until you bring your car over for me to look at. The diagnostics cost is $150". One of the shops I called even advised me to just give up trying to get my old MB fixed because it is not worth spending lots of money but instead call a junkyard and get at least a little something from it. But Tim assuredly told me that he believes he knows what's wrong with my car. That gave me the confidence to take his service and sure enough, I did not make a mistake. Tim is a gentleman in his approach. He updated me from time to time about the repair's progress. He really took care of my car from start to finish and was very resourceful in finding aftermarket parts for me to save a lot. Now the car that had been sitting for a couple of months in my garage totally out of commission seem like a happy car reunited with the roads and bridges it used to pass by. He jotted down all relevant information regarding the car and would call back. In our second talk, he went out of his way to acquire a unique part I needed, had it shipped from Orange Country and managed to quote me at a little more than half the price of two other shops. He also explained with great detail how my issue arose (something no other shop did) and I happily set up an appointment. I dropped my car off to get repaired only to find out there was something a bit more major wrong with the car and it had to stay overnight. I waited 2 months before writing this review to see if their work help up. I purchased a used pick-up and wanted to know what I was getting. These guys were kind enough to see me pretty much right away. They worked the vehicle over and gave me a comprehensive assessment after about 45 minutes. Two months later, I am extremely pleased that nothing new, weird, or disappointing has come up. They pretty much nailed every little item that I should expect. At the time, I offered them a tip for their quick and excellent service which they declined - saying it is just how they do business. I figure that if they aren't going to take $$ form me then, the chances that they would try to screw me on service is pretty much zero. I would definitely recommend their services. read more
