Wanted to love my experience and support this business (both locations) but the lack of professionalism with things as basic as scheduling makes me wish I could go back in time and just find someone else to do it. This review is for both locations (City Heights and National City, ran by Hector and Jose respectively). Initial appointment was for NC location for their summer special of full tint + sun strip + car detail. The process took NC team 4 hours only for them to not put the sun strip nor actually detail the car. Jose scheduled me to go to the CH location for both the following week to make it more convenient for me AND I even confirmed with their detailing guy to make sure everyone knew what day/time to be there (9am on a Saturday). A week later, I get there only to see that the shop isn't even open and no one is there.... I call Hector and he says we're on our way, gets there and opens shop, only to tell me it'll take a few hours and we can't guarantee the detail will be done today. I wait there another 3 hours for them to put in JUST the sun strip and last minute someone is able to detail my car. For the many inconveniences Hector says he'll grant me two free details to use whenever in the future, chill, or so I thought. Month goes by and I try to use one of the free details. Over the span of three weeks trying to call or text Hector with sparse answers but promises to get a detail to me, Hector stops responding. I call the shop and get told he's away on a family emergency. I call the NC location to see if they can help and after 3 days of calling them, Jose finally answers and sets me up with an appointment the following weekend to get a detail. Get there right on the scheduled time only to find that the shop is closed again and NC shop isn't answering my calls. Funny enough, I call them from a private number and it's answered immediately. Jose says "oh yeah they'll be there in 10 minutes". Detail guy shows up only to service another car and has to call ANOTHER detail person to come detail my car. I have now wasted a total of 10+ hours in time, gas, and money on my weekends over the span of 2 months for what was supposed to be a tint and a detail service. Lack of the ability to do a basic service, yanking the chain for time and scheduling, multiple no shows, lies to my face about promises, and even resorting to ghosting my calls is laughable, a display of incredibly piss-poor professionalism, and a blatant attempt to stiff a customer for no reason. I, anyone who asks, will never give these guys any further business. I want a refund lol. read more

"THE BEST!" Is all I can say. I already have a Harmon Kardon sound system in my RAM 1500. It sounds pretty good but wanted some extra boom. I already purchased everything for the install (i.e., JL Audio Stealthbox w/dual 10" subs), Pioneer Amp, speaker wire and power cable kit. All I needed was the installation only. I got about 4 to 5 quotes before I decided. I chose Audio Realm not because they were the least expensive but because of their reviews and also because I stopped by the shop and personally spoke with Hector who let me explain to him what I needed done with the installation. He was very understanding and asked questions to make sure we were on the same page. Anyway, I set up an appointment and took my RAM 1500 there for the installation. Paul was their installer and he did an excellent and super "clean" job of installing everything. It really was professionally done as the wires were out of sight for the most part. I initially came into Audio Realm because they had a tint special and wanted to get my Acura TLX tinted for the summer. After talking to Hector, Jose and the other staff about putting a system in my car I was able to work out a deal with tint and a full sound system. I wanted to keep my factory stereo so everything looked stock. They were able to add Apple Car Play to my factory stereo and I went with Alpine component speakers for the highs and mids powered by an Alpine amp and one 12" JC Power subwoofer powered by a JC Power amp. That sound system combo sounded amazing and exceeded my expectations. They had to keep my car overnight because they wanted to take their time in the installation and it came out very clean! I was extremely satisfied with the sound, installation and the ceramic tint which they discounted. I would highly recommend Audio Realm to anyone looking for tint or any of your audio needs. What a relief. After having experienced horrible customer service from another audio shop.. cough cough.. Audio Realm really was refreshing and showed me what the community is all about. The owner, Omar and his staff were SO chill and welcoming. I had told them I was looking to get a package that would get rid of the mess CAR AUDIO ONE BROADWAY had left inside my car. For context, I had been charged $1800 for a package that included: AlphaSonik 12" Subs, low-end JBL car speakers, and a cheap Alphasonik amplifier. All that for $1800. What a scam. Anyway; I had the honor to talk to Omar and how I had been looking for to replace my old system. I kid you not, Omar was in shock when he heard about the package I had got from the scummy CAR AUDIO ONE BROADWAY. Omar presented me with a package that seemed more bang for your buck and I was excited to get installed; Kicker 12" Subs, JL Audio 4-Way amplifier, and Kicker car speakers. And some more but I can't really get it off the top of my head. Anyway, I do wish they had been able to take me in the day of, but of course they're running great business-- they can't always take in everyone at the same time. I went in the day after I had created my appointment with Omar and brought my 2010 Challenger SE to the shop. It took, from arrival to finish, approximately 2-3 hours to get the job done? And note, it was mainly due to me having a system in there WITH NOTED MESSY CABLES within the car. It was really swift for what situation my car was in and I really appreciate their time and commitment to making everything as clean as possible. Finally, I wanted to again thank Omar for teaching me many things throughout this installation of my new system. I had realized many suspicious things that the previous guys back at CAR AUDIO ONE BROADWAY had done to my car and I will be looking to do further action on that. Work performed was decent as best- see photos. TINT as well as new stereo installed was poorly done. Damage to driver side door and bubbling on window. This store is 30 min from my work (with no traffic) and an hour from my home. So when I went there initially to get a quote I was hoping I would only have to show up one more time for the work to be done. Before driving there, I mapped it out and it was going to take 51 minutes from my work due to heavy traffic, CAL, assured me that it wouldn't take that much time because he was able to do it in 30 min. Apple Maps rarely lies, so I have him the benefit of the doubt which was a mistake, an hour later, I show up the shop which to his credit, and only credit, agreed to wait for me even if the shop closed. He quoted me for all work, tinted windows, and new stereo. Gave me a discount on the front windshield of 50 dollars. I was told, happily, if I dropped the car off at 8:30 I would be able to get my car by "1-2pm". Omar, the owner I believe, also agreed to even let me use his new truck to get back to work. So I show up as promised at 8:30 and Cal was late opening the store by 5-10 minutes... so I drop off my car and get I to the truck, which was on E. I barely had enough gas to make it to work, and had to use my own time filling up their tank, which they reimbursed me for. Calling in to find out if it's going to be done around the time they told me, they said it was going to be a while longer, I am using my lunch hour for this, so it prolongs my hunger as well... 2.5 hours later they have my car ready, but weren't able to get my windshield finished... so they said I would have to come back which I am not prepared to do given the distance and time. I Uber part time, so my time literally is money, money I lost out on. Omar, agreed to simply refund me the windshield I had already paid for and the gas. Refunded me 200 dollars for the windshield, but I think it should have been 250 for wasting my time, and still extending the deal to other stereo work that was done or the other glass tints that made it worth my time to even going there in the first place. Update- don't go here, they will not honor warranty and refuse to do business with me even though they damaged my brand new car door. Update: got an estimate for the damage done to my door panel... 600 dollars. How could Cal say, "there is no damage" when it is clearly there in the photo and now itemized proof of damage to my door panel? RESPONSE TO OMAR: 9/28 Looks like I accidentally included a photo of damage to my front car in this review which I have removed. Sorry about that. The only damage I have let Geico know about is the damage to my front driver side door, totaling 600 dollars due to your inability to do the one thing you claim you're good at. Look at the estimate, will show only the door damage therefore there is no fraud. Actually, I love that you talked to the Special Investigation unit of Geico for two reasons: 1) my lawyer says I have a good case against you for defamation of character through spreading lies about me claiming more damage than I actually did, and attempting to release information about potential other claims regarding tires and wheel damage (that are non-existent mind you); 2) you just put a fast track on SIU to determine your inexperience caused damage to my door. I look forward opening up a small claims court where I will successfully prove that the way the stereo was installed caused the door to budge. It's clearly the case. The stereo on that side occasionally also goes in and out every once in a while.. what a stellar job. Additionally, it's weird that you didn't respond to the better business bureau and now you have suffered a hit against your business due to that non response. See the photo I have attached. I have also let my credit company know to back the charge of 1080 to get a full refund since you refuse to work with me on the proven damages to my car, and poor work done. They told me that I have a strong case due to the only fraud being recorded here is yours since you refuse to honor your 90 day warranty for poor craftsmanship and damage to my door panel. First of all they were fast on their yelp messages responses! This was the reason I went to them for my Car Tint. They were fast and communicated well with me. We did a walk in around 4pm and they started right away. We were told about the brand of the window tint and suggested the right percentage for my side windows and rear. Overall helpful and knowledgeable on what they do and what products they use. In addition, they were affordable! $300-$350 range for Ceremic tints and that covered side and rear for a coupe.
