They also provided written documentation of how they were going to do everything - details on how the support posts would be set, on the structure, and on the deck boards, etc, many of which were beyond what the local building code requires. And then they were able to deliver on what they said they would do. The new support structure for my deck is rock solid, I swear I could park a truck on it. Good communication with me throughout the entire process. And the finished product is beautiful. I went with a composite deck material. While not the least expensive quote that I had, they were competitive. I went with them because I wanted it done right and last many years, and I fee that they were able to give me that.

He took care of everything for me including all legal work with city and got my deck approved himself. I did not even have to call the city office once. I paid the majority of the contracted price after the approval of the deck. The contractor who dig the holes damaged a sprinkler pipe. Scott himself fixed it in his own time after deck was completed and I had paid in full. He is a person of high integrity and he loves his work. He does everything satisfy his customer needs. Terrible experience from the start, and he ghosted me refusing to repair his crappy work…read more Booked with Brandon because he was almost 10k cheaper than the competition. In retrospect, I wish I would've spent more to avoid working with Brandon & Miranda. When I originally booked, I was told the start date would be May of that year. The start date was pushed back further and further. I had to reach out for any sort of communication, as Miranda rarely followed through on getting back to me. We got our front porch redone and had a back deck built. I was told he would do the front porch to start, then the back deck after so that my children would still be able to utilize our yard during summer. Instead, he started on the front porch and dug giant holes in my backyard - insisting this had to be the case for permitting reasons. But then once the job started, I only got a maximum of 2 HALF days of work per week. Again, barely got any communication during. I'd have to reach out asking when/if they'd return and I only got a response part of the time. My favorite was being told there'd be a delay bc of materials being late even though the materials had been delivered to my house a week prior. The job finally finished about 6ish weeks after it began. Much much longer than the 2 weeks I was originally told. But I figured whatever, we'll leave it alone since it's done and they looked good. Except the quality was crap too. He changed the back deck plans without ever communicating that it'd be different (one side abruptly stopped creating a 4ft drop to concrete and I have small children & he built around a post we talked about him removing). Within a year, multiple rails on the front porch were coming off & the wood on the back deck was rippling, peeling in multiple places, & corner pieces were separating. I reached out 1 year before the 2 year limit in the contract was met but was told for the next year that I was "top of the repair list and Brandon would be out soon to assess and fix." He never came. Miranda never communicated. I even expressed concern that she was intentionally delaying it past the 2 year mark and I have her saying in writing that they'd honor it but it's been almost another whole year since I've even gotten a response. So, you might pay less going with Brandon but you're going to pay for that difference elsewhere. Strongly do not recommend!!!!!

We are so happy with our Green Thumb Landscaping!…read more After a sewer pipe collapse in our front yard led to ripped up landscaping we were left with a dirt pit in our front yard. Rachel was out the next day to do an assessment and the day after had a design ready to share with our family. Green Thumb treats your budget like it is their own and came up with a beautiful design we were comfortable with. Rachel kept lines of communication open with us throughout the process and our neighbors were amazed at the speed and thoughtfulness of their work. When a sub-contractor on irrigation fell though, she had someone out within an hour to quote the job for less than the original and do the work the next day. Her husband Sharvez and his team were very detailed with their work and put in long hours during a heat advisory to meet timeline. Within a week and a half we had a beautiful graded front sodded lawn, new front bed, graded backyard with seed and 16 giant green arborvitae, and graded side lawns with seed. All grass is now lush and thriving. I couldn't recommend them enough and plan to continue working together on our outside design. They are not just a landscape design company, but also now our friends too.
