Warning: I have high expectations because my first massage ever was on the lovely island of Maui! I have been following Lorena with Unfiltered Beauty since their Pacifica location by recommendation of a friend. I was hesitant, but after my first visit I have gone as often as my schedule has allowed me to go. No matter the time that has gone by between sessions, Lorena remembers details about you and you get an experience tailored to your needs. I started off as someone who couldn't tolerate much pressure, but badly needed some TLC in her back and Lorena worked with that. Today, my massage needed some extra elbow pressure added into it and Lorena knew exactly how to get the numerous knots out without making me cry in pain. She is very receptive to your needs and easy to work with. With Lorena, I experienced my first facial at the old Pacifica location and oh my goodness. I filled out a questionnaire beforehand and she was ready for me when I arrived. Today, I went for a post-baby recharge and oh my goodness the facial was amazing in preparation for my wedding in September. She does not try to sell you things you do not need and she helps you find what works for your situation. I saw her for a massage while I was pregnant and I was a bit nervous, but she made me feel super comfortable and worked out the kinks in my back. For some who love the spa experience of a sauna, hot tub, etc this might not be for you. Don't get me wrong I enjoy all of those too, but I think the personalized treatment is hands down much more rewarding and I will continue to go back and follow her anywhere because it's worth it. Just had a massage from Lorena on Friday, I had seen her a few times before the pandemic and she has not lost her magic touch. Very deep massage and she found a lot of knots in my back since I hadn't gotten a massage since before COVID.
