I've lived in San Francisco for 17 years and have tried a lot of spas here (and I almost always book a massage when I'm on vacation too). I love massages. This is hands down my favorite place in the city. I recently had a massage with Angela and it was so amazing it finally made me sit down and write this review. It might honestly be one of the best massages I've ever had. She somehow knows exactly where to focus without you having to say much, and I left feeling completely relaxed and reset. I've also seen Chanra many times, and every single time I walk out thinking, "Okay, I really need to leave a review." She is consistently amazing. With both Angela and Chanra, I feel like I completely unplug from everything. It's that kind of massage where you lose track of time and don't want it to end. If you're debating where to book, this is the place. I can't recommend them enough. read more

4.5/5 if half stars were a thing! The service is always impeccable and VERY considerate. The facility is very clean and well maintained, with nice lounging nooks before/between services. Treated the boyfriend (and myself) to pedicures. The ladies were so so sweet and very gentle with our feet - almost too gentle on the callouses . Overall a very competent set of ladies and a relaxing experience. My ONLY critique is the chairs/set up for pedicures - the chairs are old school stationary seats and the nail techs had to fill up the foot bins manually, which gets cold after not too long. I really wish this place had at least a couple professional chairs with the massaging backs and wet-spas that circulates the water, I was surprised they didn't already. I would not come back specifically for a pedicure, but have had other services here that are great and still highly recommend! read more

I had a knee injury that later required an ACL repair surgery and did pre and post op massages with Romeo because no one can reduce inflammation like he can! He is super knowledgeable on all sports related injuries and has always devised the right massage to treat me, and my knee was no exception. he does magic with lymphatic massages or just relaxing ones on a day you just want to be pampered! he has been part of my healing process and I'm so thankful for his work! Marni is an absolute wizard. Weeks of neck/shoulder pain and stiffness nearly gone after one session (I say nearly because my pain/stiffness was pretty bad)! I can actually turn my head without excruciating pain. I've passed this place a million times thinking it was tiny, but it has a secret underground level like a wellness speakeasy. I've already booked another session with Marni so she can continue to unwind the multitude of knots in my neck and shoulders. read more

I had an event during the busy weekend before Christmas and had wanted to get an eyebrow wax. I did some shopping and passed cocoon. On my approach back to my car I thought to see if they could fit me in. They were able to do so immediately, although both staff members at the desk were pretty smug with me. Anyway I got a nice brow that was alright but the staff never informed me that I could spend some time in their facilities. They just told me to walk downstairs and wait. It was a $50 brow wax with the tip I left her with never a mention to the spas amenities. read more

My boyfriend and I were looking for a place that did massages and facials and we stumbled upon this place. All the staff members were so warm and welcoming and I adored the relaxing vibes. Desirae did my facial and made sure to ask about what my skin goals were and any concerns I had. I felt at ease with her explaining all the ingredients she was putting on my face and what it did for my skin. Justin gave my boyfriend a massage and my boyfriend thoroughly felt relaxed after. I could tell from his back that he wasn't as stiff. The front staff (I didn't catch her name) was so nice and told me that since it was Tuesday during August, they had a summer special and that I received 20% off without even asking for it. Definitely will be back to check out their other services. The only thing that could've been better was the fact that even though we got there ten minutes earlier than our appointment, we weren't seen until 10 minutes after our appointment time. Guys, if you are considering a pedicure, get one here. I mean, women too, but I think I need to tell men that this place isn't girly, it's simply a great place to have your feet taken care of, and I can't recommend Jessica enough. Jessica knew how to repair my long-standing problem with a cracked, big toenail, which has troubled me for many years. She knew just what to do to fix the problem, and after two visits, my toes and feet are very happy, and my toenail issue is all but gone. It's nothing short of a miracle. I've been coming here for several years ever since they opened a location in Noe Valley, (used to go to the SOMA location when my office was near there). The facilities are sparkling clean, modern and a haven of relaxation. All the staff are friendly, attentive and skilled in their craft. I mainly get pedicures (Jessica is amazing) and have tried other services as well (loved getting lash lifts by Desirae) and am always impressed with the consistent, exceptional quality. I have now gone to Cocoon for both eyebrow waxing and a massage, both were equally great! For my massage, my therapist asked me great questions at the beginning to understand where I had soreness and what my levels are for a deep tissue massage. The pressure was perfect and I slept like a baby after. For the eyebrow wax, I have sensitive skin and break out easily. The team here always does a great job and their products work really well on me! They also have a good system to get banks of waxes which is great as someone who needs to go often. read more

The people are lovely, the space is quiet and serene. I am very particular about massage, so I told them what I was looking for and they gave me some recommendations. I found a couple of therapists who are perfect for me. One woman does cupping and Romeo does sports massage and prenatal. He is so knowledgeable and skilled and I feel very safe with him. I went in for a 90-minute massage and surprisingly so much more. The spa was an experience from entering the store front and getting greeted by staff who check you in and give a tour of the space. My impression of the spa was clean, upscale, but also very inviting. The vibe really helped with clearing my mind. I came in early and got to lounge for a bit on their chaise and was handed strawberry tea plus a compliment to my shoes. That always feels good! I was assisted in to my room by Justin, my massage therapist. He was very accommodating and ready to answer questions to help me set the right expectations for my massage. I think that Justin was easy to work with because of his attentiveness. That for me made the experience because my body and what I do with it is just not the same as the next or previous person. Being able to adjust everything about my massage and have someone skilled and knowledgeable about what they're doing is so important to me for this type of service. Justin was ready to offer recommendations, alternatives, and ask the right questions for things I couldn't really explain about why my body was aching or tensing. Justin did exceptionally well with just translating whatever we communicated about to the work he did on my body. I highly recommend the service and will be back soon to try out more. read more

My friend gave me a gift certificate and I used it for a massage and wax. I definitely will be going back. I ended up trying sugaring instead of wax and it was amazing! I have sensitive skin and sugaring caused much less redness and I am grateful it was recommended by the esthetician. The deep tissue massage was also excellent!!
