I've gotten facials here and there when I felt like I needed one, but the first time I got a facial with Aina I locked myself into a multi-pack because it was such a great experience. Her spa has a relaxing atmosphere and the whole experience is calming and feels like you are getting pampered. I usually get the deluxe Hydrafacial and my skin feels so plump and clean afterward. My issue with facials in the past has been that the extractions portion typically tends to be pretty painful and leaves me with a lot of redness and even sometimes scabbing due to having sensitive skin. However, the Hydrafacial treatment itself gets out a lot of the debris painlessly even before the extractions, so by the time we get to that, there isn't much left to extract. This had made my facial experience so much more like a treat for myself rather than something I have to do to help my skin. Aina is informative, detailed, and so friendly in general. Wanted to post this before I go into labor. Before pregnancy, I went to Aina for the hydrafacials in preparation for my wedding and maintained it afterwards because I liked the way it looked on my skin. I have eczema and previously was one of those people with a 10+ step skin routine. Aina changed all of that. My skin stopped flaring (probably because I stopped being insecure and using all the 10+ products) and I'd comfortably go without makeup as I got hydrafacials on a regular basis. My skin routine became simply: cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen. No more fancy serums/exfoliants/AHA/glycolic blah etc. During pregnancy, Aina totally could have said she'd do the hydrafacials but instead she recommended a less intensive facial. I respected her opinion as the hydrafacials of course are her main reason if revenue. The regular facials were still fantastic in dealing with my pregnancy hormonal acne. As a bonus, she looked into how she could make her regular facial more "premium" for people who are pregnant. We tested out a serum and a new type of mask and it worked fabulously for the discoloration from the hormones. This will have to continued prenatal AND postnatal for as long as I am able to breastfeed (assuming I'll even be able to breastfeed). In terms of covid safety -- Aina not only checks your temperature ahead of time but she schedules appointments so that there's ample time to sanitize. She keeps a mask on the entirety of the facial and even provides you a new one after so that your newly cleansed face isn't getting the oily residue from your mask.
