The staff of Dr. Moreau's office are the friendliest and most competent staff I have ever encountered. They make sure you are comfortable and at ease throughout the entire dental process. They really love their jobs, and it shows! This loving and genuine caring attitude exudes throughout the entire work place giving one the feeling of contentment, confidence, relaxation, all things good. Billing is accurate as well. I have never had any discrepancies with any billing, or extra fees. They sit you down and show you each procedure that will be needed done. There are no surprises. Today was my first visit to Unforgettable Smiles. We moved to Cenla about 4 years ago, but retained our dentist who lived 3 hours away. Due to the distance, my dentist visits were sparse. I finally decided to go local, and got a pair of recommendations for Dr. Moreau, including a good friend. I also did some checking online, and was impressed with their resume. After filling out forms, and getting a tour of the office, we did x-rays, a couple of exams, and finally a cleaning. After almost 2 years, I had a moderate buildup of plaque, so it cost a little more. Fortunately, they talked to my insurance company and found I was covered (I was certain I'd have to pay the whole amount). Twice Dr. Moreau came in and assisted the hygenist with the pre and post exam. They went on a tooth-by-tooth analysis of my mouth! I had cavity under a filling and smaller cavity on side of other tooth at gum line. Dr Noakes was fast and I did not have pain. Local numbing of gums and mask with gas. This was yesterday on the 16 Dec 2025. I get my teeth cleaned every 6 months at VA. I did see dentist at VA but for some odd reason they did not see this tooth issue. I ended up with infection. Dr Noakes showed me a few things and advised me that if any issues pop up call ASAP. I ate me a slice of Sam's club pizza and 4 berry ice cream after with minimum effort. The people at this office are polite and make the experience way better than the VA. The dentist was great as can be considering my teeth issues. I started using Dr. Moreau right before Covid hit. They were amazing at juggling the appointments and working around all the chaos! This office, all of its staff are all friendly, professional and caring! Dr. Moreau is a perfectionists and want to give you the best smile! This is a judgement free zone and you feel very at ease. I had an appointment for a cleaning today. Tabatha was very personable and with great knowledge of the cleaning process. She suggested that I should consider additional services in the near future. I agreed and within minutes she explained that if I had time today, they could fit me in directly after she finished the cleaning. I accepted.... Dr. Reed and his staff (don't remember her name) are AWESOME. He is so personable with excellent bed side manners. Very Thorough!!!!! Dr. Reed treated me as if I was family and not a patient. Great office! I was a new patient today and got great care. Wait time was minimal, immediately greeted by Hannah, my hygienist who is a doll! X-rays were quick and easy. She is so down to earth and had great conversation while getting my teeth cleaned. Dr. M came in and was so sweet and warm. I've been going here for several years. Started out with Dr John Moreau. Now his daughter Jade does all my work. I can't begin to thank Jade enough. I just saw her today after a filling chipped. We're leaving for a two week vacation in three days. Jade got me in ASAP I also took my 6 yo granddaughter to Jade for a cavity. Jade made her so comfortable and talked to her. I was having so much sensitivity on my right side and they got me in right away. They were able to diagnose what was going on and give me same day treatment. I have not had any problems since. I was nervous as usual to have a cavity filled. As always, the entire staff took care of me at Unforgettable Smiles. Lila is so great at making sure you are comfortable at all times.
