The Yelp reviews are why I contacted this office in the first place. The main reason I did not go with this firm is that a consultation for 30 minutes would cost $99. I am seeking legal help because of debt so I would think that at the minimum, consultation would be free because most if not all of the clientele are seeking help for financial troubles. So just from that consultation fee, I surmised that the cost would be too high for me. It might end up costing me more than my initial debt. I could be wrong but I was not quoted any other fees as I requested. For all I know, the rates could be very reasonable but that is not the impression I got. Update: I increased the rating to 4 stars because Jesse Langel contacted me directly to address my concerns and advise me. I applaud his concern over customer relations and his thoughtfulness in reaching out to me and helping me as much as he could and his promise to continue to advise me if needed. My debt is not very large so the cost effectiveness of hiring Jesse is, unfortunately, probably not in the cards. This is why I can't in good conscience give 5 stars since I won't be able to see his work but I got to see some of his integrity. I do recommend that if you have a need for an attorney, Jesse Langel has at the very least demonstrated that he cares and will be there for you. Cautionary client recap, based on exact client experience during 2021-2024…read more Started the process of retaining KGH for legal representation in 2021, Samantha M came to our home to proceed with signing the contract for representation.The process was started and we spent the last 3 years interacting with the many paralegals providing information for our case, participating in depositions, etc.It was a horrendous experience dealing with this firm, resending the same case documentations as they had a revolving door of entry-level paralegals.  As a client there is a level of professionalism as it relates to a representation agreement when you retain legal counsel for a case. Fast forward to 2024 our main lawyer that we communicated with for over 3 years leaves the practice, no communication on a new point of contact within the firm regarding our case or even an email / call NEVER NOTIFIED US IN ANY WAY... I reached out to Mr. Peeyou Panarella to follow-up on our case and one of the mariachi brothers who is in character as an attorney at KGH, responded via email. The legal team here are actors, no way anyone here by definition is a professional. I work with general counsel daily as a Chief of Staff to CEO's at the most coveted corporations. Itamar Levy does do all the onboarding and is super charming, then you will more than likely get kicked to someone else. Mike Barrows is who I got and is a good guy, definitely smart and competent, like him a lot, all business but that's cool, I don't think your divorce lawyer should be your therapist. I did feel supported and like the firm was on my side. Communication was rough though. Sometimes super fast, often had to send several emails and messages over days to get any response. Getting a paralegal to respond almost impossible. Often repeatedly asked the same question and nothing. I understand these firms have lots of clients, and its all stressful, but can't say I feel or felt like a priority. Once the agreement was finalized I got kicked to someone else to deal with a property transfer and here the nightmare is ongoing. I've repeatedly asked for clarity and get one liners. I'm still in limbo, being billed, and it feels like no one is focusing or interested in helping. So, a super decent and competent firm, but I don't feel I've been supported all the way. That said, there is much much worse out there and this is a good choice.
