She gave me a breathing treatment and made sure I was feeling OK. She listen to all my concerns despite I was upset because of how awful I was feeling and she treated me with the most compassion including her other staff, Brittany Brad and I can't remember the others names but they all deserve recognition. They had an emergency walk in and still continue to take great care of me while dealing with that thank you all so much for making me feel better.

She specializes in weight loss, as well as internal medicine. She has two different office locations, Hagerstown, MD and Hancock, MD. The ladies in the office-checking patients in, collecting co-payments, etc., are super nice and are willing to help with any issues, including insurance issues! Sarah has been a constant Godsend to me! Answering my questions via email or phone. She was able to deal with my insurance over their complete lack of compassion for their patients (CAREMARK is HORRIBLE! It's ONLY about their bottom line and NEVER about the patient's needs!! And let's not forget that they completely ignore an MD's orders on the prescription-forcing the Doctor to change dosages, pill amounts, or FORCING them take a patient completely of their pain meds that they have been on for 20+ years, because they won't pay for it, and if wanting to pay cash for it, CAREMARK will not allow CVS to fill-so you can't find the pills at ANY pharmacy, because if you try to fill it at another pharmacy, they won't fill it because you do not normally fully your scripts there. CAREMARK/CVS are SO scared, because of the 2016 GUIDELINES. (Even though they revised the 2016 guidelines in February of 2024, ensuring chronic pain patients did not get treated this way...by doctors OR insurance companies! These pharmacists, who do not know the patient OR all their issues, make a decision based off of a policy, not off of what the patient NEEDS or REQUIRES to stay upright! CAREMARK basically replaces your MD, who went to school for decades.) Back to MORRELL Advanced Practice! These women are ALL amazing, in BOTH offices!! Writing this is a double-edged sword, because this will help her grow her practices, making it more difficult to see Caitlyn Morrell. Thank GOD for the other practitioners in the office, like Allison! My husband loves her, too! He sees both women. It takes a lot to impress my husband, as he hates seeing doctors. But, these women put you at complete ease!! Especially if you do not like going to the doctors.

They have known for weeks that she was having surgery and have yet to send over to the surgeon her release papers. Her surgery is scheduled for Monday, June 8th. The offices have been closed since Thursday. She went to see them on Wednesday and was promised after several weeks of "yes, we are sending it over" to "yes we will send it today, Wednesday, June 3rd. Well, we called the surgeon today to verify that they got the release forms and nothing. Not only has this caused undue angst to my friend, but the surgery will also have to be postponed and just imagine the surgeon and his staff - the cost of their valuable time. I am planning on suing them. No excuse. This behavior is unacceptable.

Said did not like prescribing the renewal I had for gout but take over the counter I said I ahd but they also warn after 3 days seek medical treament, here I am. She said hold on and left. 15 minutes, as it was ridiculous to have appointment and sit is a treatment room for just over an hour while specking to a person for less then 10 minutes. Apparently online appointments take priority so that si what the satff was doing when I left. Very courteous but my time is valuable, I get paid by the hour and to have me sitting alone for almost an hour is poor service and something many cannot afford to do.

I requested specific doctor but doctor is no longer taking patients as opposed to internet info. I requested PA- her appointments are 2 months out for a new patient. Unfortunately, I had to cancel owing to two health emergency/priority with a specialist. Today, I arrived too late- my error cause mornings bad for me. So it will be 6+ months for me to see PA as new patient. I need local. I would have preferred my handicap parking pass be renewed earlier than 6 months without. I have to assume the doctor(s) will be wonderful or I will need to research again because at 70, I would prefer to see a doctor sooner than later or too late. I cried. I left. I called and offered first appointment two months out with another morning appointment. I took it. My advice- book on line because I scheduled an appointment the next day that is not bright and early that I will have better success arriving. Possibly the ad for Valley Heath should read limited new patient opportunities with a minimum of 2 months prior to patient status.

I did not give him any sort of inclination that I was interested in him. I have a boyfriend of 5+ years, and he apparently has a girlfriend of his own. Turns out professional boundaries or patient privacy doesn't apply to him. Dr. Kara was very nice as well as Nurse Drema. But Brycen ruined that experience for me and I'm not coming back. I am actively pursing a complaint with the Maryland Board of Nursing for a violation of my HIPPA rights.

This place does so many…read morethings right, including: (1) the ease of making a same-day online appointment; (2) a convenient location with adequate parking; (3) a modern and clean facility with a friendly receptionist, a water bottle filling station, and complementary tissues / masks / water / snacks; and (4) competent medical staff and doctors who really do seem like they enjoy their job. They really seem to go above and beyond at this place. For example, after the medical assistant took my vitals and exited the room, I started coughing / hacking uncontrollably. She heard me and came back in and proactively offered me one of their free bottled waters, which I very much appreciated. Also, when the PA/doctor later came in and I told her my symptoms and how I had tried to self-treat with some old Rx meds I had on hand (on the recommendation of my mom, who is also a nurse), she actually commended me for doing that, re-upped my Rx, and told me to keep going. Although it was no fun to be sick right before the December holidays, this place made treating that sickness less stressful than the typical urgent care. I give this place 5 stars -- maybe even 6!

On the morning of the appointment, the front desk staff was friendly and efficient. The wait to be seen was reasonable, and wasn't very long at all. Both the nurse as well as the doctor were fantastic. The doctor didn't rush, and instead took an appropriate amount of time to discuss and perform an exam. I'd definitely visit this practice again. It was such a better experience than other urgent care providers I've had to use in the area. Everything was clean and appeared well maintained.
