They have two types, a standard type that you'll wind up replacing (like normal) usually once a year. Then they have a LIFETIME watch battery, for a little extra, that they will replace for as long as you own the watch! We had some family diamonds that my wife wanted to turn into earrings and a pendant, so she met with John Hancock and with in a couple of days, she had a beautiful set. We finally are looking for a new wedding ring for her. Ashley Hancock and John both took over an hour to meet with us and consult with us. The beautiful thing about Hancock's is that you never will feel "pressured" as John and Ashley don't try to get you out of your comfort zone. I looked at my clock and it was NINE minutes till 8:00. I said I thought they closed at 8:00 and he said that is what it says on the door. That the man behind the counter had motioned to him that we are closed. I had bought an oil filter a couple weeks back and was in the process of changing oil. When I started to put the filter on, my filter wrench would not fit it. I looked up the filter on line and found out they had sold me the wrong one. So, I was in the middle of changing the oil and had to wait till the next morning, to exchange it. It would have only taken a couple of minutes to exchange and I could have finished that night. If they lock the doors at 7:50 it should say they close at that time on the door. Very poor customer service.
