I came here to find my wedding dress and I honestly did not expect to find exactly what I was looking for (I thought I would have to make it myself). I tried on countless dresses, my consultant Cain was just so patient and intuitive, and Cain gave amazing input that kept me from settling on a dress because it was cheap but I didn't love it. Ultimately, we found the perfect dress and I spent nearly an hour prancing around in it and Cain, Brianna, Blue, Bobbie, and Joy were so welcoming and sweet and went above and beyond to make sure we got the biggest bang for our buck and left feeling excited. Now of course, this place can't provide perfectly royal treatment like other bridal boutiques (it is a warehouse after all), but the employees do everything within their power to make you feel like royalty. read more

If you are thinking of going to Bridal Warehouse for your wedding, DON'T. You will regret it. My wedding is two months away, and they've butchered my dress so that it's completely unwearable. Now I have to try to find ANOTHER dress in two months' time. It has been a horrible nightmare working with this company. I bought a dress I loved, over 10 months ago, that just needed the straps shortened slightly (they were sagging in the back) and the ribcage let out about a half an inch. I got the dress back the first time, and the straps were waaay too short (the bust of the dress is about 4 inches too high, level with my underarms). The a-line of the dress was moved up when they shortened the straps so that the whole dress, from bust to hips is HUGE on me. They say the dress is perfect, and that it's MY fault because I must have lost weight. They told me I would have to REPAY $200+ to have the problem fixed, which of course I don't agree with, seeing as I didn't do anything wrong, and I've already paid $350! After my 2nd fitting, the dress is even worse. There are THREE full inches of space between my ribcage and the dress! I have always been the same size, a 2. There's no way I lost 3 inches around my ribcage in 10 months! Plus, the straps aren't at all even. In the back, one is an inch wide and the other 2 inches wide and curved. It fit better for alterations touched it. We have given them plenty of chances to fix it, and they refuse to see the serious defaults in this dress that are direct result of the alterations staff's work. My mom and I have cried and begged and pleaded with them to make this right, and they refuse. What's worse is that even their corporate office won't help us, and they ignore our calls and never call us back to talk about the issue. Please save yourself the heartache and trouble, and take your money somewhere else. I understand that it's hard to admit your mistakes, but taking $700 of someone's hard-earned money and leaving them with no functional product is theft in my opinion. read more

Wow. The girls that work here are complete morons. Not only are they rude, but they can't even order the right size dress! Apparently it was MY fault that the girl I worked with ordered a dress a size smaller than I was measured for. I was measured for a 10 and received an 8. When I went in to pick it up, they asked me to try it on. The girl came in to help me and when it would not zip up, was EXTREMELY RUDE. She asked me if they had to break the dress I originally tried on to get me into it, and then asked me if maybe I had ordered a size down thinking I would lose weight and then just didn't. I told her that no, I ordered a size 10 and that I had not gained weight. She rolled her eyes and informed me they didn't have time to re order the dress and that she wasn't sure they could let it out enough. EXCUSE ME. It was almost completely zipped...it's not like I was busting the thing open. I found this odd because this girl was clearly at least 100 pounds overweight. Then when I couldn't have a fitting at that moment because I didn't have my shoes, the seamstress acted like I was the most difficult person in the world. They told me they weren't sure they could finish my dress if I had the fitting 6 weeks before my wedding. Um...what? Yes you can. That is PLENTY of time. I then asked to see a few necklaces with the dress and the girls behind the counter holding the jewelry just...ignored me. I pointed to a few necklaces and looked at them and they just kept talking to each other like I wasn't there. I don't even WANT this dress anymore. They completely ruined my bridal experience. DO. I came in for an appointment to try on wedding dresses for the very first time. I was hoping to receive a lot of guidance since it was the first time. Unfortunately, I found very little. With a newbie like me who hasn't dreamed of her dress for years, over-explanation of the process would have been great. I had made my appointment online and submitted styles I was interested in seeing, so I was hoping some of those would be pulled ahead of time, but they weren't. Instead, I was pointed to racks upon racks of dresses and told to pull my own. Thankfully I had my sisters there to pull dresses with/for me because I had no idea what I was looking at and you start to go cross-eyed looking at this homogenous mass of white fabric after a while. Don't get me wrong. My consultant was perfectly pleasant. And I wasn't expecting white glove service since this seems to be a chain on par with the David's Bridals of the world. I suppose I was just expecting something a little more. I kind of felt lost the entire appointment. I walked away thinking I would have appreciated being asked more questions to get a sense of my needs and maybe shown a couple "out-of-the-box" styles just to see if I liked something I wouldn't have thought of trying on. I didn't find the dress, and I don't think I will be back here to try again. Oh well. Not great, not terrible...just unimpressed and a bit overwhelmed by the experience. read more

I've done davids bridal and here and this is not the same as David's bridal. If you want to be pampered and have you feel like you're the most important person there this is the wrong location for you to go. However, that doesn't mean that this place doesn't have great dresses to choose from. I am getting married in 4 months so Theresa told me that I was going to have to pick off the rack because it would come in too late if I ordered. Hence the search began. At the beginning I felt a little rushed but I think it was just her way of being helpful. I was there for about 1.5 hours and she helped me all the way. Theresa checked the back and bent over backwards to find me a dress in the right size and also got a dress fixed immediately because the zipper was broken. She was great and my bridesmaids all loved her and she let me take my time in the dresses I wanted to try on. Definitely not a bridal shop and so remember it's a warehouse and you'll be alright. Ask for Theresa if you can. But note she's a character! read more

I'm really surprised by the bad reviews! I had an excellent experience shopping for, purchasing and having my wedding dress altered here. The consultant who helped us shop was very friendly and helpful. I was shopping within 5 months of my wedding, so my options were limited (as they would have been anywhere), but I still had plenty of choices. I ended up with a dress that I LOVED. My alterations appointments were easy (granted, there wasn't a lot to do other than majorly shorten the dress). My primary complaint was that if I wanted them to store the dress for me until my first alteration appointment, I would have had to put it on layaway - there was no way to have them keep it after it was paid for. I didn't really want to take it home with me (where was I going to put it?!?!) but I didn't have much of a choice (the risk of forfeiting the dress if we were late on a payment was just not worth it, especially when we were ready to pay for the whole thing up front). My accessories that I bought from here (headband and belt) were overpriced, but ultimately exactly what I wanted, so worth it in the end. read more

I ordered my daughter a brides maid dress from this place, it was supposed to be suede rose and they ordered a dusty rose, they refuse to fix their error, and when I called the woman Diane was very rude and defensive and offered me a 25%discount instead of fixing their error. I went with my roommate to try on dresses for her wedding. Her wedding is in 5 months so she's needed either a dress that could be rush shipped or a sample dress. We went on Saturday in march so they were a little busy. We meet the bridal consultant and she was nice. She asked what the bride was looking for and the bride showed her several dresses that she had been eyeing online. The consultant took us to several racks of dresses and told us to look through the dress and pull no more than four while she was supposed to go look for the dresses that the bride wanted to see. Once we had pulled the 4 dresses the consultant meet us in dressing room area telling us that she couldn't find any of the dresses that the bride wanted to see. She put the dresses that we pulled in the dressing room, took the first on out of the bag, handed to the bride and walked away. Once the bride had the dress one and ready to show us the consultant was nowhere to be found. We had to zip up the back for her. The dress was a little big in certain places but they didn't offer any clips so I had to stand behind the bride and pull the dress tighter so that see could see what the dress would look like when it fit properly. The consultant reappeared just in time to take that dress and give her another one and disappeared again. The entire appointment was like this only most of the time the consultant wasn't there to get the dress once the bride took it off and one us would have to hold it until the consultant came back. The only reason that I gave 2 stars is because the consultant was nice and happen to pull the dress that bride ultimately picked. The ended up buying the sample dress. It needs a new hook in the back, the sash has a very defined crease and the skirt needs to pressed because some of the layers stickup in places. She didn't realize until the next day That she had been charged full price for the sample dress. She asked the manager about this and she said that because they don't consider their dresses samples even though they have tried on and worn by several people and has to be fixed. She could have ordered a brand new dress and at the same price. Now she has to put even more money into alterations that could have been avoided had she just ordered a dress. But they don't tell you that. I do not recommend this place. read more

I thought this would be a similar experience to David's bridal as it was a chain store, but it was much better! Dresses were well priced, especially for the more modern styles which are usually more expensive (my budget was $700 and I had over 10 dresses I loved and tried on in my price range!) Very large store with a lot of inventory in many different sizes. Jericho was my salesperson and she was very sweet and not pushy whatsoever, didn't suggest anything out of my price range which I appreciated! It wasn't my first time trying on dresses but she was very explanatory with very simple details which was great for making you comfortable if you hadn't done much dress shopping. She offered us cheesy photo opportunities if we wanted them but didn't push them at all. They have layaway options as well and will ship the dress to you for only $25, this was especially useful to me since I don't live in the area and only went shopping here while visiting my mom. read more

I bought my wedding dress in Oct 2013 for a May 2014. The shopping experience started off uneventful. The girl was new and nice but didn't offer much help. She had only been there a week or two. An older woman finally came over and helped us and was able to pick up things I liked and didn't like to find THE DRESS. The sales woman assured me up and down and backwards they could alter the dress the way I wanted/needed. The dress came in and it fit but we need to make it shorter and taken in some. Normal stuff. In about Feb 2014 we went in for tuxes and had a great experience with Morgan. Then it went downhill. Badly. First dress alterations were great and the woman was friendly. Second time they made us wait 45 passed our appointment time AND THE DRESS WAS STILL TOO BIG AND NOW TOO SHORT. A new alterations woman tried to blame it on me. I lost weight, I wore different undergarments, different shoes, my chest was just too big. We fought with her for about an hour and she never seemed to listen or understand. She didn't seem to know how to take the dress apart to take in either and asked us how to do it! The woman also didn't seem to know our wedding date and kept putting it down wrong (too far out) and freaked out every time I corrected them (a week and a half away- their fault not mine) Then she tells me she doesn't know if she has time to work on my dress because of prom season. She keeps telling me to add straps to the dress. I tell her I bought the dress because it was strapless and she just rolls her eyes. My final fitting 5 days before the wedding and it's still too big. She added a belt and it worked enough to leave. As for the tuxes. A guy called us a week or two before the wedding to confirm our order because Morgan was no longer working there. HE CONFIRMED OUR ORDER TWICE. My fiancé gets there the day before the wedding and 2 out of 7 pants are wrong and the ties are wrong. (We wanted bow ties) My fiancé calls me and I talk to the girl WHO BLAMES IT ON ME AND TELLS ME I SIGNED OFF ON ALL OF THIS. She was very rude and unhelpful. I call back and get a manager who is nice and does help but now we have to push back pictures and getting ready the next day. The manager also seems to know there was an issue with our original girl who helped us. If so than all her orders should be micro managed! That guy called to confirm and it was still wrong. Also, come to find out that they gave my dad the wrong best. No discounts either for their mess ups and being rude to me. Basically once they have your money they don't seem to care. read more

This place is awful. I found my bridesmaid dresses here back when I was getting married and the people who work here were so unhelpful. I had one bridesmaid coming from Australia (who had never been to the US before). We had a lot of issues trying to figure out her u.s. size and all we had were her measurements. These people basically refused to help me figure out what size I needed to order for her. I know that they don't want to be responsible if it came in and didn't fit but they could have offered some encouragement and help. It was also like pulling teeth getting anyone to help us at all or even show us a dressing room. Then to have the dresses rushed they were going to charge us $40 more per dress than a store I ended up ordering them from in Knoxville. The staff here was so into themselves and their daddy issues they couldn't even help me. Wish I could leave a 0 Star review for this terrible company. My sister in law ordered a wedding dress in March of 2019. Her wedding is in October. Her dress is STILL not in!! We are a month away and have called multiple times. The corporate office has been so rude to her and said that she was "misinformed" about the delivery date. They told her that her wedding dress MIGHT NOT BE IN FOR HER WEDDING. They said that they will not be issuing a refund, and that she is out of luck basically. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. We are having to go look for a backup dress in case hers is not here in time. This is a nightmare. It would be different if she waited until the last minute to order her dress, but they have had 6 months to get this in. On the bright side I did find the dress that I wanted, however when I first got there my maid of honor showed the picture of the dress I wanted ( from their own online gallery) and the lady basically told me to go look through all the racks and find what I would like. If you have never went wedding dress shopping this may not make a whole lot of sense to you ...but when you're looking at the dresses they pretty much look the same. you don't know what is a trumpet dress what is a ball gown because they are all smashed in the bags. I asked if she could help me and she said "that is not how we do things here and if I wanted her to pick things for me that I needed to sit in the back and wait for her to get around to it." ???what?! When we finally got to the point of trying on the dresses she told me "to slow down so that she can see me in the dresses and see what SHE liked me in"? Are you serious? My fiancee and I chose Bridal Warehouse for our tuxes as they had a better selection than Men's Warehouse. The woman who helped us was very nice and we felt confident we'd have exactly what we wanted for the wedding. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. All but 3 sets of measurements were done in this very store (we rented 10 total). When the guys went to pick up their tuxes EVERY tux was wrong. Too big, too small, wrong arm length, pant legs pooling around their shoes. They then, the day before the wedding (because there's nothing else they had to do that day, right?) had to wait more than 2 hours for the store staff to alter the tuxes for them. Even so, the fits were still bad, and one of the groomsman had to have a shirt overnighted (to arrive THE DAY OF THE WEDDING) because they didn't have his size. Bear in mind, the guys were all measured MONTHS in advance. My dad and brother went together, but separate from the rest of the groomsmen. Apparently they were too polite to complain (I wish I'd been there to speak my mind!) and ended up with horribly ill fitting tuxes. My father, normally well-dressed and fairly distinguished-looking, looked disheveled and gaunt because the tux was so big. As one guest pointed out, "He looks like a survivor of Auschwitz". Needless to say I was extremely disappointed, and I wish I could say it didn't matter in the end. But honestly, so many of my wedding photos are ruined by the horrible tuxes. To add insult to injury, there was no discount offered to compensate for the issues. Every single one of them paid almost $300. Makes me sick to think about it. read more

This store ordered the wrong size dress for my daughters bridesmaid dress. Than when I paid for the dress, I asked to have it sent to the Louisville store. The lady told me sure that would be no problem. The dress was still sent to Tennessee store. So I call to have them send it to Louisville, 4 wks later I had to call a manager. They had to send it ups to Louisville store. Now its 4 wks before my wedding and I have to find someone to fix their mess up. The Manager didn't know anything about this. That is a problem if the manager doesn't know what it going on. The Louisville store was very helpful. The Tennessee store just didn't seem to care. Their customer service sucks!!!!!!!!! Its a great place to get a great dress with designers like Allure, but the customer service kinda stinks. I didn't need help finding a dress because I knew what I wanted , but if you need a great deal of help I would tell them up front and right away. they helped me get in the dress and all and that part was good until they called my bridesmaid pregnant over and over again lol. Such a great bridal experience! I made an appointment beforehand and also sent in a "wishlist" online through their website so that the consultant knew what I liked ahead of time. When I came for my appointment I was immediately checked in and greeted by my consultant, Cara. She was extremely helpful and pulled the dresses that were in stock from my wishlist. She encouraged me and my guests to pick out as many dresses as I wanted through multiple trips to the dressing room. She never rushed me, and was very patient and helpful throughout the entire process. Everything flowed very smoothly and I had a lot of personalized attention from Cara and another consultant who was helping her. They helped pose me for photos and put me back into my favorite dresses multiple times until I decided on "the dress." Thank you Cara for being so sweet, patient, and helpful!! I bought a bridesmaid dress here with my friends bridal party. My friend also bought her wedding dress here. While we were searching for the dresses, the workers were friendly and helpful. The return trip after we bought the dresses, was full of nothing but up sales of accessories we did not want. I get that they were just trying to make money, but when someone tells you four times they do not want a hair clip, stop pushing it. They were also very pushy with the alterations, which were very expensive. They acted pretty snotty when I politely declined and said I had a seamstress of my own. My dress arrived in a bag. When I got home with it, I noticed a grease stain on the side of it. Granted, I should've checked it better before I left, but I trusted that I wouldn't be sold a dress that had a stain on it. Now I have to pay my seamstress $20 extra to fix it to where it isn't noticeable. Based on my experience, I doubt I will return here for my future dress purchases. read more

When I came to my appointment I showed the consultant 4 dresses that I had seen on Bridal Warehouse's website that I would like to see in person. She only pulled one dress and took me over to the 10's and asked me to pick out others that I liked while she got my "dressing room"ready. My room was a curtain that was pulled completely open while she helped me zip my dress every time which made me very uncomfortable since there were 2 father's in the same area as me. I wasn't provided any undergarments like I was at David's Bridal. She didn't help me into the dresses at all so I left tugging and trying to lace corsets by my self. I found a dress I didn't want to take off and then I was informed because that dress was my size I had to buy that dress...that everyone had already tried on, smeared make up on, stepped on, everything else for FULL price! If I wanted a brand new dress I had to pay an extra 10% which just doesn't make sense to me. If I was getting a discount for the floor model I may have considered it but not for full price. I decided that was my dress but there was no way Bridal Warehouse was getting my money so I called some other bridal shops that carried the same designer and found a different store to order my dress from. read more

If you are hunting for your dream dress go some where else. My friend made an appointment to find a dress. When she walked in and told the sales person what she was looking for (a fitted gown, with sleeves) the sales lady told her that there was nothing like that and that sleeves were not in style right now, even though most designers they carry have at least 2 dresses with sleeves. When my friend told her she was willing to try on other dresses that could have sleeves added the sales lady told her that they wouldn't have anything in her size (she is 10) and it she wouldn't be able to order her a dress in time even though the wedding was over 6 months away.
