Being part of a large, multi-generational family, I have unfortunately found myself attending services there at least once a year for much of my life. As an adult, I've had the responsibility of taking a more hands-on role in funeral planning, and I'd like to share three experiences. The first was for my uncle--while not related by blood, he was absolutely family. There was significant family drama leading up to the service, including a grandchild sending threatening messages. When the staff became aware of the situation, they handled it with professionalism and care, arranging for support to be on standby if needed. Thankfully, it wasn't necessary, but Paul was fully prepared to take care of it. The second experience was a little over a year ago, when I was making arrangements for my own mother. Paul, the owner, sat with me through the process. He and his staff were incredibly professional and compassionate. Paul made sure I understood all my options and gently reminded me to take my time--he made it clear he was there for me, without rushing me at all. The third experience was about two months ago, when I was there in my professional capacity as a minister. I was asked to support a husband making arrangements for his wife. I watched as a man, in deep grief, struggled to process what was being said. For the first time, I wasn't the family member making decisions--I was observing. The staff at Chapel of the Highlands handled everything with patience, professionalism, and genuine care. Walking through these difficult moments is never easy, but it brings comfort knowing that Paul leads a team that is caring, hardworking, and professional. While I wish I never had to return under such circumstances, I know I will continue to trust and recommend their services to anyone going through such a difficult time.

We went through so much pain for a year and we wanted to ended up this process peacefully. Thankfully, I have talked to Maria G Aguilar so she could be in charge of this process. From the first call I gave her- She was clear about the steps I needed it to follow.. She explained me about the cost and the way they were going to take care of the situation. The Day, I met with Maria G Aguilar showed me the packages available and spent time going through all the details about the Funeral. She was very attentive, compassionate, and best of all She listened to me, ( in these moments, You need someone to listen to your feelings, struggles, etc) My Father who was married with my Mother for almost 50 years was extremely sad and Maria G. Aguilar was there to comfort him and to help us to give my Mother her last day as she deserved. The Day of the Funeral was extremely well organized, and as soon as I got there Miss Maria G Aguilar asked me to be my companion and stayed with me until I felt a bit better.( She stood next to me while I stared at my mother and She handed me tissues) To Maria Aguilar and the Funeral team: Thanks so much for helping us going trough this painful moment- We had a peaceful,Dignity Funeral for My Mother. If you have lost a loved one at this Moment. My Deepest Condolences. *Maria Aguilar is Fluently in Spanish and she has a very sweet smile.

I would advise you to not conduct business with this company unless you want to add unnecessary emotional stress while going through your loss. Where do I begin, my grandpa passed away on 02/29, and up to date 05/02 we have not been able to get a hold of a notarized cremation certificate requested by the Mexican consulate to provide us with the proper visa to travel with his ashes. Mind you this has been going on since February. All my family will be traveling for funeral services this upcoming weekend which Suzzette was aware of and yet, we are still waiting on Suzzette Bustamante to properly handle the situation. I was charged $80 on Friday 04/26/24 and told the certificate was already notarized and it would be sent through 2-day express mail and we still have not received it. Trying to get a hold of Suzzette Bustamante is close to impossible, delays in the reply of emails, and at this point I believe refuses to answer the phone. Every single person who answers the phone has a bad attitude and is unwilling to help. The answering service always says they'll forward a message and wait for a callback in 24 hours. All this company has done has extended the pain of losing a loved one and not being able to properly arrange funeral services. On top of creating a harder financial burden the already arranged funeral services in Mexico will most likely have to get delayed along with us paying additional fees for having to reschedule our flights. The emotional stress my family has endured due to the lack of compassion from this company is unexplainable! Your family should not have to plead for a document.

Losing a parent is incredibly hard, but they handled everything with such a high level of dignity and grace that it truly eased some of the burden for us. Communication: From the very first call, I felt heard and supported. They were incredibly patient with all of my questions and kept me updated every step of the way, which gave me so much peace of mind. The Process: I found their approach to be very modern, transparent, and straightforward. There was never any pressure or "salesy" feeling, just genuine empathy and a focus on what my mother and our family needed. The Memorial: They helped us navigate the details for her memorial with so much respect. Everything was handled professionally, allowing us to focus on honoring her memory rather than worrying about the logistics. I am so grateful to have had their guidance during this time. If you are looking for a team that treats your loved ones with true honor and provides a seamless, compassionate experience, I cannot recommend them highly enough. I also really appreciated the honesty in their business model. I know it could technically be cheaper if they did every single thing in-house, but they intentionally use outside sources for certain steps to ensure everything is handled by specialists. I actually felt like I got more value this way because I knew I was getting the best possible care at every stage. It's also worth noting for other families that they don't have an embalming service; they focus purely on a dignified, natural process which was exactly what we wanted for my mom. I am so grateful to have had their guidance during this time. If you are looking for a team that treats your loved ones with true honor and provides a seamless, compassionate experience, I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you, Honor Cremation, for taking such wonderful care of my mom.

Customer service: 5/5 Value: 3.5/5 Execution: 5/5 From a service standpoint, they excellent. The team is available 24 hours via phone and text. For the majority of my work with them, they were extremely responsive, had good pass downs between shifts and team members, and worked to meet all our needs and timelines. They never pressured us into anything or upsold us. They just wanted to support whatever we needed. My family needed an expedited cremation and memorial all within a week of my family member passing and Honor Cremations was able to make that happen and get the paperwork done with the county in that timeframe. Honor's paid casket option was cheaper than other crematories and was a very nice, presentable casket. Honor does not embalm in house but has embalming providers they can work with. The only reason I would hesitate to select Honor again is because other crematories were more cost effective (up to $1000 cheaper for our package selections), but Honor did what they could to reduce costs and provide flexible options and offerings. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others if service and empathy is a top priority.
