I am a legitimate 1st-time customer…read more After my SUV was damaged by an at-fault driver, their "progressive" insurance company suggested I take my truck to their in-network repair shop in Murray, KY (about 1-hour away). Not having had an accident in many years, I went to 1st Choice because they were close to my home in Martin. The estimate was on Friday afternoon. I was there 5-7 minutes for them to take photos and they said they would e-mail me all I need. They did just that within the hour. I then decided to go with 1st Choice and drop it off first thing that Monday Morning. Not only was that quick as well. They had my rental waiting for me in the shop (clean and warm). I was there for like 5-minutes and was all set. They also said to plan on everything take a week. 1st Choice handled all the work with the company's adjuster, and both called me on Tuesday indicating the damage was more than initially anticipated and claim would be higher - - and that they will handle everything together. No work on my end. On Wednesday morning, the 1st Choice said my truck would be ready that afternoon. I WAS SHOCKED. Repairs, rear-bumper replacement, paint, and even washing my truck was completed in just 2.5 days. When I arrived Wednesday afternoon, my truck was waiting for me in front, we exchanged keys, and I was on my way. Their work is also AWESOME! Good Service, in almost every industry is hard to find these days. Rarely do we (the public) receive service that was memorable, and memorable for the right reasons. This was EXCELLENT SERVICE and in every way. I will be using this experience in my training of staff in my job and will singing their praises and supporting them locally. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I found one company that was $40 cheaper but after reading their reviews, that was not an option. The reviews of Morris Glass were very good and they have a warranty (which the other company did not offer). I requested a quote in the evening. The next morning I received my response and later that morning, a follow-up phone call. The next day, I called in to schedule my appointment. The tech, Mark B., did as promised and called me the morning of to confirm my appt. time. He then called my later upon his arrival. He is very friendly, courteous, efficient, and professional. In a quick 40 minutes, he was done and he asked me to sit in the vehicle to make sure the new windshield met my expectations. This whole experience was superb, from the office staff, to the tech and I highly recommend them!

It feels like everything went downhill from there. I rarely drive - but when I do, it's long haul. During my 7 hour drive North, I realized my windshield wipers no longer worked whatsoever on Auto setting. If I hit a bump, my wipers would suddenly turn on max speed bunot if it was raining.Then, my rear view mirror feel off. Bought my car new (2022) and have not had a single issue. Not only was it EXTREMELY difficult to get a human on the phone to assist - soonest appointment online was two weeks out. Finally got in contact with the local shop who sent the same repair man out to look it over. I still have no mirror and duct tape holding up the mount. I had to call to follow up with next steps and am still waiting to hear back. You'd think there would be some sense of urgency to assist - nope. Words cannot express my annoyance with it all. Safelite has only managed to make the experience terrible. I was better off with the cracked glass... Let's see how many more times I have to call for actual assistance. They've tried to blame the manufacture's mount, not matter how many times I tell them the adhered mount was never broken. I've been left with a car that legally shouldn't be driven and a trip scheduled in three days that I may have no car for. No human is available to explain why after over two weeks they cancel with no explanation. Just a chance to book another appointment on line. Mind you their automated system has text me every fees days want me to prepay or remind me about my appointment. Even Labor Day evening got a text reminding me of my pending appointment. No service, no quality no concern for the customer. Just a catchy jingle and lots of commercials to cover up their lack of business sense.
