The last time I took the kids it looked like so much fun I borrowed my kids tiny board and rode in a skatepark for the first time in 25 years! The park is a perfect mix for beginners and pros, with easy roll ins and gentle humps all the way to bowls, stairs, and gaps. We've been to some other skateparks that have steeper ramps and feel much more closed in, we end up coming back to this one because it's more spacious with plenty of room for everyone. The snake run is really fun for beginners and you can learn to roll in here and ride some banks. The negatives of this skatepark are sometimes people that live in their cars will park out here, there used to be a lady with a full on garden outside of her car and sometimes people will hang out in the grass nearby and smoke weed. Haven't seen it in awhile but we started coming early morning. The closest bathrooms are at the park so a pretty far walk if you need to use them. There is also no shade don't gets hot during summer.

I don't understand where this hate comes from, we had common skatepark etiquette, as we always do, I was even giving the angry dads son props prior that day. The ranger here is out of control. This…read morepark has swings, fire truck, musical instruments, skate park, bike tracks, basketball courts, exercise equipments, clean restrooms, walking trail. Worth taking kids here on weekends or every evening for playtime. This park has been built based by Mia's parents based on her vision, with the support of the community. If you live around or happen to be in this area and have young kids, I highly recommend to visit this park.

The man made lake is beautiful curved with willow trees planted along the shore . A lot of shade and lounge chairs to sit and relax . It is a great place to enjoy the views of the wild life ( birds ) , plants and scenery along the lake . There is a small parking lot at the entrance. Which makes sense when you're in a concrete urban jungle day in and day out - we just weren't meant to live this way. I literally searched Yelp for a park in the area on my way home, and Lakeshore came up. Tucked away in a residential area, Lakeshore is a small-ish, serene, well-kept park with, as the name implies, a lake being the central point. I strolled on the path for a bit. I'm not sure how long the path is, but it seems like a good spot to get a decent walk in, and there were a few walkers and joggers. After stretching my legs for a bit, I grabbed some bench and watched the birds - geese (these guys are huge!), seagulls, ducks, and crows - hanging out and eyeballing me to determine if I had food. They were so cute. There is nothing that gets me feeling better fast than being around animals. The human animals that passed by were nice as well, with smiles and hellos, how refreshing. I spent some time just sitting and resetting. It was good. I need to do this more. Nice park, enjoyed a much-needed reprieve here, and would return.

Maybe a good place to bum around on a skateboard if your living in the high density housing nearby. Kid brother rented a room close to here for a short while too. Never liked to hang around that place as the roommates - or maybe the owner - had a bunch of video cameras in the front of the house and living room. Who knows where else. I'd scoop him up and leave fast. To me living in a situation like that would be worse than jail. Safe neighborhood - as good as it gets - but I suppose everybody is on edge these days.

This is just a little skatepark but it has a good selection of things to skate. A nice incline…read morewith a hip, ledges big and small, a handrail, and a couple steep hips. If you are really into skating transitions, this is not the park for you as this is really geared towards street skaters. On the day I came through, the kids were pretty obnoxious so I would be hesitant to bring kids to the park that's connected to the skatepark. Regardless of that however, they were really good at skateboarding and it was fun to watch them shred while I was catching my breath in between runs. It was interesting that they had coping on the ledges that went straight into the corners of the park yet opted to leave other more accessible ledges without coping, but this is a minor complaint. I would come back here again, but I would like to practice a bit beforehand as the skill level required to really kill it here is a little higher than what I currently possess!

It's the other one, just so you know. I was happy to see a clean, long, well-made wall extension near the park side. it wasn't as tall as the one at Fair Oaks, but the longer shape could be helpful. Sadly, I didn't even go down to the shallow end, errr, street section. The bowls were plenty to keep me busy. Helmets should be worn, for certain, and most everyone had one. The depth of the bowls is certain to be a problem at some point, although they're not as deep as in San Jose or Sacramento. Everyone seemed chill. There was no supervision and only a couple of little, little kids to make sure that they weren't going to be hit.
