I didn't know this existed until we put the oldest into Skating Summer Camp. You can find personal skate trainers and group classes throughout the year if you look online. The last time I took the kids it looked like so much fun I borrowed my kids tiny board and rode in a skatepark for the first time in 25 years! The park is a perfect mix for beginners and pros, with easy roll ins and gentle humps all the way to bowls, stairs, and gaps. We've been to some other skateparks that have steeper ramps and feel much more closed in, we end up coming back to this one because it's more spacious with plenty of room for everyone. The snake run is really fun for beginners and you can learn to roll in here and ride some banks. The negatives of this skatepark are sometimes people that live in their cars will park out here, there used to be a lady with a full on garden outside of her car and sometimes people will hang out in the grass nearby and smoke weed. Haven't seen it in awhile but we started coming early morning. The closest bathrooms are at the park so a pretty far walk if you need to use them. There is also no shade don't gets hot during summer. read more

Amazing park, I ride BMX, and have been a Bay Area local my entire life. I promote the youth no matter their sport of choice. Imma and my friends were attacked, and harassed by the park ranger (also a skateboarder) the ranger kicked my friends car, a dad got furious with rage and ensisted on fighting until we left the park. I don't understand where this hate comes from, we had common skatepark etiquette, as we always do, I was even giving the angry dads son props prior that day. The ranger here is out of control. I was completely dumbfounded by his behavior. As sloppy and unprofessional as it gets. This was over a year ago, and I hear he still works here. FIRE THE RANGER!!!!! 2017* read more

Awesome skatepark! It's a bit small but it has everything you would need and a couple unique obstacles to have fun messing around with. Thanks to Braille Skateboarding and other Youtube videos this park became the skating mecca to my teenage son. When we visited the bay area from out of state we had to make the trip. We were there on a Monday afternoon and there was a good amount of life in the park without being too crowded. By CA standards, he is beginner skater and there were plenty of features for him to use and practice on. It also was cool to see the really good skaters doing their thing. The park was friendly to observers as well as there are astroturf sections with some shade out in the middle of the park so you can be more in the action without being in the way. Free parking is available if it isn't all taken up by people going to the waterpark next door. read more

Great place to get yo warm up, recover from any injuries before hitting the streets. Has night lights, transitional section, street, and pool section. The flow is pretty sick, ground is slick. Only downside is that the park closes pretty early at 8:15, and it could get real packed! Regardless either get here early or get there later. Both are sickkkk times but if you dont care about crowded section ls at night then by all means get going to the park! read more

My oldest nephew was taken to skateboarding lately, which is a good thing to keep him active and moving over the summer. He likes to practice a lot in the driveway, but since my sister and I recently taken him and his friend to this Skate Park, he's had more access to learning how to improve his skills. I like that it's a safe environment and he can watch other kids with more experience so he has something to model after. He can start with easy moves until he gets the hang off the harder ones, which makes me feel a little more confident since they all look pretty scary to me! It's a good location for kids to go to stay out of trouble, and with other parks nearby, there is something for the whole family. My younger nephew even brought his bike and rode it around the area- not in where all the boarders were, but around the perimeter. If your kid likes to skateboard, take them here! read more

This is a fairly new park and it is amazing. I wish every park was designed with this level of detail and ingenuity. It is a very innovative park with things you would not see in other bay area parks. I think it is great for many levels. It would take a sad person to get bored at this park. Very impressive for Fremont. My son is slowly getting into the scene and very curious about skateboarding. We've been to skate park before in San Mateo and my son loved it!!! Little kids on razor scooters, bigger kids on bikes and skateboards. Fremont - the youth are more on skateboards. Not so much razor scooters going on. My son got a little intimidated, but glued to watching the bigger kids. I'll just take him earlier when the teens aren't around. Haha. read more

Hands down one of the best parks in the East Bay. The ground is really smooth and takes some getting used to but once you do its great. Makes skidding a little less painful. The park has something for every skill level skateboarder from beginner to professionals. The park layout is well thought out and the square footage is accommodating to lots of skaters. I drive my son and nephews all the way from oakland every Saturday mornings just to skate this park. We'll worth the drive. read more

This place is amazing. Clean with lots of variety. Transition, street section/plaza, rails/hubba, bowls and even a snake run. No scooters EVER. Bathrooms are kinda gross but that's the only negative thing I have to say. I'd be here alot more often if it wasn't 20 miles away. read more

my home skateboard park is the sunnyvale skate park. i don't venture away from there often enough. however, the new fremont skate park manages to draw me away now and then mostly due to the good variety of terrain. i enjoy the smooth concrete all over. i hope it stays that way. i like having the snake run because it gives me a chance just to roll around when i don't feel like really trying any fancy tricks. i really like the baby bowl. my favourite area of my home park is the baby bowl, but this baby bowl is probably the next best one around. it has more of a kick at the top of the tranny than the sunnyvale one, but most bowls do. the medium bowl is definitely fun, but you need to watch out for that weird kink in the wall below that loveseat thing. i'd love to hit the concrete coping pool one of these days. i haven't been skating as much pool stuff, so i haven't found the balls to drop in on that lately; but someday i shall. the street course has lots of banks, ledges, gaps, bumps, rollers, and a pyramid. it features beautiful architecture. it has stairs, which i don't plan on skating anytime soon. in general, the park looks really nice. i thas all this astroturf all around, which is kind of weird. however, it looks nice. i like that it's free and has no fences, so you just start skating as early as you get there. i've been hitting it up in the morning because we all know, in general, that's the way to avoid crowds and punks. read more

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a Great Skate Park. There are bathrooms nearby and drinking fountains. There's also numerous parks nearby if you have younger children. There's plenty of parking. Be sure to bring food with you. read more

**NO SCOOTERS ALLOWED! Super cool skatepark that we took forty minutes to drive to, and my kids were not allowed in with their scooters. Perhaps they should add something to the title that says NO SCOOTERS. Every other skatepark we go to allows scooters. Disappointed kids and a waste of our Sunday. read more

I came to this park during labor day weekend of last year with a friend. First off I would like to say I've only been skating for 2 years and only have been going to skateparks since August and thats when I REALLY started to get addicted to skateboarding. Anyways, The Saturday i came to the park it was apparently one of the busiest days of the year. Park was really fun. THINGS I LIKED: Mini Bowl - Great for starters, Probably could do a lot more in that mini bowl then the one at my local skatepark. Manual Pad - Decent manual pad, Just a little wait to use it once then you have to wait again (I Don't know if its like that on other days the day i went happened to be crowded. Snake run - How is a snake run not fun :) The park has pretty much everything you can think of. Don't really remember if I saw a flat ground rail. THINGS I DISLIKED: There isn't really a lot of places to put your stuff, the only place I could think of is the entrance where everyone sits but its always crowded right there full of backpacks and people sitting. I put my bag on the ground near the snake run and my bag had ants in it. So maybe the park could a little more picnic tables and park benches. There also isn't really a lot of flat ground to skate, The only place I found to skate flat ground tricks in the park was that flat area on top of the 5 and 7 stairs. Im pretty sure there is more flat ground but the park was really crowded where you would run into people recording or snake them. Parking was a little hard to find (Theres a waterpark next door thats probably the reason) The park seemed a little dirty but not bad where I would totally complain :) If you have young kids please watch them. The area this park is in I found is a little sketchy. Overall I don't know if I would take a drive all the way from Danville to come to this skatepark again. I might want to try it again on a day where its NOT a holiday weekend. I give it 3 stars because I LOVE the way the park is designed. Its just too far of a drive for me to come back. read more

The skate park gets pretty crowded but is awesome for every level. Sometimes they have lessons going on and you can come up on some tips and tricks :) They got a nice variety of street and vert, and even some (fake) grass and shade in the middle. There's a picnic table right inside the park, and also a few right outside the gate. Pads and helmets are optional and there's no fee to ride the park! read more

The park is nice the only problem i have the use of actual pool grout in the pool which breaks much easier than other types of grout

i love this place. period. mini bowl is chronic. copeing is a little small but what ever. skate or die. or die and skate.
