They can usually fit you in the same day, which is a huge plus when you're dealing with sudden pain. They also take most insurances, which makes things simple. The office is definitely bare-bones--don't expect the spa-like extras that some other places offer--but what they provide is exactly what you need: effective treatment without unnecessary frills. Both chiropractors are fantastic to work with. They're knowledgeable, down-to-earth, and they take the time to teach you exercises that help prevent future issues. What I value most is their honest approach. Unlike some practices that push multiple appointments every week for months on end, Honest Chiropractic only recommends as many visits as you actually need. It's refreshing not to feel like you're being taken advantage of. If you're looking for straightforward, effective care, this is the place.

My teenage son woke up one day this week and couldn't turn his head from side-to-side. He was also…read moreunable to stand up straight and his shoulders were out of alignment. I knew he would not be able to drive to work, and since I was not sure how quickly his body pain would work it's way out, I sought the help of a chiropractor. I did not have any recent experience with local chiropractors. I had no referrals nor friends to ask for advice. My criteria was a location close to home with same day hours. Honest Chiropractic met both of my minimum requirements and they scheduled an appointment within an hour of my call. Since my son had never been to a chiropractor before, he was a bit nervous. Dr. Gross was very patient and calm. He took his time and explained every procedure before proceeding, and he quickly developed trust with a uneasy teenager. He really worked on the pain areas repeatedly until my son had a better range of motion and much less pain. My son was put at ease and appreciated the time and patience by Dr. Gross. When we walked out of the office he was no longer wincing in pain. He felt much better and did not hesitate to schedule a follow up visit 48 hours later. My son really liked him. Now if you're looking for a fancy office, then this isn't the place for you. However, if you seek a quality chiropractor that takes the time and care to address your needs, I recommend Dr. Vincent Gross at Honest Chiropractic.

I have been a loyal patient ever since. That was over thirty years ago. I have tried other chiropractors, but most want to schedule you in advance for the next several months, the first time they see you. That always made me skeptical. 'How can you assume I'll need regular appointments for the next three months when you only just saw me?!' By contrast, I see Dr. Nutter when I need him. As soon as he works his 'magic' and I'm walking upright again, I use the exercises and advise he provides to keep me going until I have another flare-up. I told Dr. Nutter recently that hope I outlive him - because I would be lost without his care and I'll never find another chiropractor as good in my life. In case I haven't made it clear enough, this guy is the BEST. Look no further.

He became combative during the conversation. As I politely was trying to explain my work schedule has now changed. The receptionist is very polite and displayed patience, and professionalism she even felt the bad and rude energy. I had to give a star rating but if I could, I would not give any stars by the way I have been treated, I would never go back to this practice or recommend anyone. I understand people may have bad days but when you provide a service you should stand on excellence. I am very surprised due to Dr. Ploucha is very big on good ratings and our interaction in the past has been great. I really hope he works on a better attitude. A smile and positive energy go a long way you never know how it can make someone's day especially in the health field.

I've been to many chiropractors, and this place is a scam. Ploucha was trying to scare me into…read morethinking I had major problems and was recommending that I do a $1500-2000 course of treatment. I'm a medical student and generally healthy, so I know I don't have a lot of issues and just how he described the spine/nervous system was completely wrong. Ploucha was also strangely claiming that I have to pay a lot of it out of pocket because my insurance benefits weren't as good as they actually are. What's worse is that sessions are extremely rushed, and 15 out of the 20/30 minutes is just lying down on a massage chair. Manipulations were 5 minutes max, and were really simple things I can do on my own. He takes x-rays for the sessions, which I'm pretty sure is so that he can bill you/your insurance for more services. Healthcare professionals don't take x-rays unless theres a reason to do so, and Ploucha is indiscriminately exposing his patients to unnecessary radiation. I told him I won't be going to his practice, but he called a few months after to try to get me in for a session. I think he forgot that I wasn't happy with my experience, and was trying to get more money out of me. Based on how rushed his sessions are and how he just puts his patients on massage chairs, he is definitely a businessman (and a scam artist) more than a provider. Edit in response to Ploucha on Google reviews: Read the unfavorable reviews, and they describe the same exact issues I had (rushed sessions, false diagnoses, false information, overly long and expensive treatment plans). STAY CLEAR FROM THIS BUSINESS.
