We received excellent support and service in selecting our blinds, curtains and security doors. Two thirds of the curtains and blinds were made and installed within a month and the quality is excellent. The curtains look stunning. Our builder had promised to finish our doors and rear windows within a couple of months of handover and sadly nearly one year on we are still trying to get them to finish the job. We are hopeful it will be finished in the next couple of weeks. In the meanwhile we have vision blinds ready and waiting to be installed and we have had to put a hold on our security doors too because of the problems. BBB have patiently stored our blinds and waited to finish the job we paid for. They have regularly followed up with us about progress too. All staff from the customer support team to the measurers and installers have been super friendly and helpful too. At this point we can't fault BBB and would thoroughly recommend them to all. They're not the cheapest around but not the dearest either. The quality of their products and customer service totally justifies the expense. Thanks BBB for a great job so far. We hope to get the last bits done shortly.

(I am not sure what was check measured as I checked the diagram when it came time for installation and it was clearly wrong.) 7 weeks later, time for the installation and the problems begin. Take a Friday arvo off work - "The installer will be there at 2pm," we were told. We call at 3.45pm and were told, "he will be 15 minutes." The installer arrived at 6.40pm. We are having a 4 panel verticle drape installed in the living room. The panels were the wrong size by over 100mm. The installer advised that he would need to take them back in the morning to have them resized. We call at 11.00am the next morning and no one knows anything about this. I was advised, "Normally we would not call you, we would judt try to fix it." I requested a call on Monday - No Call. We call back on Tuesday and advised the service girl will call us straigh back - No Call. We call on Thursday and were told they will check and call us back - No Call. We get a call on friday to say the installer will be back Saturday. He comes back and puts the panels in. He Opens the packet for the Pelmet - No Tracks. The installers advises he will get and drop back one day the following week to put in. Wednesday, we call again - "He will be there thursday after work" - No Show - No Call. Friday - I call and are advised that she will check into it. She Promises a call back in 15-20 minutes - No Call. Monday - We SMS the installer and he says he will come that night. To confirm, I call the office and ask to speak to the manager. After being on hold for 5 minutes, I am told the manager is away and the office manager can call me back. I decline saying no one has called back yet, I wish to speak to her now. After a great deal of attitude, I am transferred. I relay the above story. A call is promised back where an appology for lack of communication is offered with annoyance over the fact we have contacted the installer ourselves. So apparently, tonight is the big night where this whole ordeal may finally be over. I recommend you find a different company if service is something you value.

We all know that moving houses can be extremely stressful times. You have to sort through…read moreeverything, clean and remove rubbish and unwanted items. That can be stressful enough, but then having to face moving all of your furniture as well can make life even harder. After having moved quite a few times I have broken and damaged a lot of my belongings. It really just comes down to inexperience and not having the right equipment. After a couple of moves my partner and I decided that we would get removalists to give us a hand. This will be the second time I have used Adelaide Hills Removals & Storage, and I was not disappointed. They really looked after us through the whole move. They came to our house and had a look at our furniture to give us an idea of how much it would cost. They even provided us with a trailer to move our smaller gear for 3 days! All of our belongings were moved carefully and thoughtfully. They worked hard and saved us a lot of time and energy. I am so grateful that I am in my new home and everything made it in one piece! I recommend these guys as they really go above and beyond to ensure that you are happy with their service.

A week later I still hadn't heard from anyone so I sent a follow up email. I heard back from someone who wasn't from Mastin electrical, it was some agency that makes bookings for them. He didn't know anything about the product either. For me to find out from someone who knows what they're talking about they want $150 to do a site visit, when every other electrician I've contacted will do a free quote and can give me advise about suitable products over the phone. Service was very poor compared to their competitors.

You get to see the process other people go through, and appreciate their work. One outfit I would recommend is Griffiths, mainly because I believe the work is detailed well, constructed locally in a clean and skilled way, and the pride taken in the work is reflected in the quality of the finished product. For any trade, electric, carpentry, painters etc; you can give them a call 24/7 basically. I've never seen these fellows do a shoddy job. They work to specifications and work reasonably swiftly wherever possible. They will build the store for you if you have a new store to fit out, or if it is about offices they will provide you with the right solution to your needs after some consultation. I believe they also have several very happy clients when it comes to doing maintenance on residential and office blocks, so they are available for up keep with both office and residential spaces.

I had massive problems with my outdoor pavers. I sealed them with a sealer I bought from my local…read morehardware store - BIG MISTAKE!!! They looked amazing for about two months, but became very slippery and the sealer started to wear away and looked patchy. Michael from M&A Sealing stripped and brought my pavers back to its original condition and sealed them with a product he recommended - DryTreat Stainproof. The water actually beads on the pavers! Michael left me with heaps of information on how to clean and maintain my pavers - it's a great product, applied by a very professional person! Anyone needing work on their pavers, I highly recommend Michael to you. I've already told my friends and family about him and my parents are looking at employing him for their bathroom and kitchen.
