I asked them not to send anyone, to just issue a refund and that the hotel will try to salvage the cake, given that the event was that same evening and I didn't have enough time to search for other options. Reshmi refused and said they'll not provide a refund unless the cake was collected and "in the same condition as in the photo". Their customer care is just non existent, it was like dealing with an angry child who just wanted to make sure you don't have any viable options for your event. Thankfully 'Cakestreet' rose to the occasion and we ended up with a tasty cake that had a much better theme design. My advice to Anges is to ensure you prioritise your customers over your ego. Zero customer care.

I emailed her the next day to give some vague instructions on a birthday cake and arranged to pick it up from her Broadway Market stall on the following Saturday. For £25 I got the most delicious, multi-tiered, moist carrot cake with buttercream white frosting. It was sinful. Everyone that tasted it was ooooohing and ahhhhhhhing about how great the cake was. Of course the 1 year old loved it, though he's not a harsh judge. My husband ate it about 3 meals per day until it ran out (I hid some in the freezer as Danielle told me it would freeze very well).
