I have known Fritz Schuler since our days at Benjamin Franklin grade school. He and his wife are talented musicians. Many, many people have learned to play folk guitar, banjo, and mountain dulcimer from these two. Mary is also an artist. The store is pretty cool as it is packed to the gills with instruments (I got one of my mandolins here), music books, strings, and just about any thing a folk musician could ever want. They are really nice people and their store is pretty amazing. If you are a musician or aspire to be one it would behoove you to stop by and check this place out.

Then a week later called me & said they couldn't deliver it by thanksgiving and that the charge would be 150.00 but he would hold it to the 100.00 charged. We decided to pick it up since we were having company for the holiday. To make an even longer story short, the salesman copped an attitude, saying he told me I had to have people to load it. Which he never did. But we own a company and just had two of our guys come over. I will never purchase anything from this company and I would suggest a buyer beware. I can't recommend this business

One time, my husband called very last minute, and Angela was still able to provide a wonderful bouquet with delicious candies and a stuffed animal that his daughter still talks about to this day. Once, the Wild Iris waited to deliver a bouqet (after business hours) until after a softball practice just to ensure his daughter received the flowers and they just weren't left on the doorstep. This kind of compassion and service can not be found at other establishments. Angela treats all of her customers as if they are her own family, and that's what makes shopping at The Wild Iris so special. The store itself is so well decorated, and there is a gift to be found for everyone. Both my mother and mother-in-law shopped at The Wild Iris while visiting from Boston and found all their gifts for their friends back home here. Today, I bought a baby ruby plant. I was a pretty hands-off bride leaving each vendor to do their magic and gave minimal direction - I pretty much just said simple, pinks and greens with a vintage feel. My bouquet was huge for the price and the colors and flowers selected were spot on - green hydrangeas, pink peonies and roses. They were stunning. Because they are owned by an older couple the designs are more traditional and a little too perfect...if that can be a negative?
