Very friendly staff member. They had more Kauai focused souvenirs instead of just basic Hawaii. My friend got a couple cute stickers and a sweatshirt. I normally don't post recommendations. It's just not something I do unless it's really superb. But I want to let anyone know if you're looking to buy a car I would suggest Nick Holmes at Larry H Miller Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram on 104th. He really made sure that things were taken care of on the car if there was an issue, and I felt that he took care of the car as if this was his own. The price we got was great. I would actually go back to him again. My daughter bought her first car they she worked really hard for and he was awesome to work with and so many things that he gave to her for her car. I work in the car manufacturing industry and I'm very critical of dealerships and them really being their customers. Nick was truly amazing. read more

My wife and I have been going to Kauai for years and we always make it a habit to stop by the UNIQUE GIFT SHOP in Lihue in the Anchor Cove shopping center. Yes, there are tons of souvenir and gift shops on the island, but the owner - MIKE is one of a kind. He is extremely friendly and helpful. MIKE can help you find anything you're looking for without being pushy. The selection in his shop is quite large, even though the shop itself is not that big. MIKE has two other gift shops on the island as well. They are in Hanalei and Kapaa. We have purchased things at all three locations, but MIKE is what makes the Anchor Cove shop an extra pleasant experience. SHEENA is another person at the Anchor Cove store that is also super friendly and helpful. There is plenty of free parking in the lot and there is a public restroom in the park behind the shopping center. If you're in the area and looking for gifts and souvenirs, you will probably be able to find what you're looking for at the Unique Gift Shop at a competitive price. read more

I typically don't write reviews but I wanted to give Alana a shout out. My bf and I came to Kaua'i for my 40th birthday and stopped into this shop for a quick browse and found some of the most high quality cotton shirts and sweatshirts for a fair price. We ended up purchasing clothes for the whole family to take back as gifts. The service was top notch!! Alana was engaging, friendly, and seemed to enjoy her job (regardless of annoying tourists) Definitely stopping by one more time before we fly out back to Cali!!! Cheers to Alana!! With such a generic name, I wasn't sure if this would be a complete waste of time or the exact place that I'd need to swing by to find some great gifts for people. It was more of the latter than the former. They have a great selection of random knick knacks and items that I'd never buy normally, but since my wife and I were on our honeymoon and had a lot of souvenirs to buy for our wedding party back home, we grabbed a few items from here. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to make sure things were packed well so that they wouldn't break on the flight back. read more

The name is stupid, but the ladies there were so nice and even suggested places to shop, eat, etc. They have all sorts of knick knacks, for you to take home that ranged from jewelry, clothes, magnets, to just random things like art pieces. We ended up buying these little turtles, since we have a turtle collection at our house. The ladies went the extra mile to wrap them up securely and pack them so they would not get damaged on the flight home. No other tourist shop I went to cared that much about the souvenirs we bought. If you get the chance to look around, you'll see there is no real theme, like some of the other shops in the same area, as they are more of a jack of all trades store. If you come here, know you'll find something for someone in case you haven't quite found what you were looking for, but it does take a bit of searching to find that cute little present for your trip back home. read more

I am visiting from San Diego for 7 days and I've been back to this store four times and I still have three days left here. I wouldn't say they have the best prices although they're competitive but it's the salesman Mike who is the reason for the repeat visits. He is knowledgeable and accommodating to your wants and needs. I am sure I'll be back one more time before I return to San Diego. Thisbis where you find handpainted sarongs. They are made in indonesia but don't overthink it. Handpainted ones when i went were 19.99 The others were 2 for 18? Love this place! Nice alternative to ABC Store (especially as their sun dresses are nicely finished with a bit of colored piping, unlike the ABC Store dresses, as much as I love them) and their jewelry is cute. Prices are comparable. Another great Kauai find. read more

We could not find this store. I'm not sure they are still in business. This store has moved from the address listed on Yelp. It is in the Anchor Cove shopping center at 3416 Rice Street. We found the best prices in this store on some of the more common souvenirs. read more

Of all the stores I visited this one was the best due to the helpful staff. I looked at a very reasonably priced nice watch there and the gentlemen helping me was informative but not pushy. When I came back the second day to look at it again he did remember me and was again extremely helpful. I didn't end up buying that item but bought a lot of the vintage grade, super soft cotton shirts that I only found there. Reasonably priced for a tourist town and a lot of selection. Loved this place. Wearing a shirt from there as I write this. :-) If they had a website I'd probably go back and get the other shirt I'm missing! read more

I am happy with the shirt we purchased on our honeymoon. Had an issue with them double charging our credit card. Our card was charged on the same day for the same amount and I only have 1 receipt for the charge. I have contacted them MULTIPLE times and they will not return my phone calls anymore. All I want is for them to show me 2 separate receipts with my husband's signature, but no one will return my phone calls. Bad business. read more

If you are visiting from out of state DO NOT PAY FOR AN ITEM AND HAVE IT SHIPPED to you. I made a purchase to include shipping charges ( I live out of state). To date the item has not arrived (10 business days is sufficient in my opinion). At a minimum I should be able to talk to the owner (Erik) to know the status (how/when it actually shipped); I have been UNABLE TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THE OWNER because the number he provided on the receipt, which is the number on yelp, etc., is not working - busy no matter what time of day I call. I will be contacting my financial institution to reverse the charge due to non delivery. Very disappointing. read more
