DJ Lo of Unique Style provided services for our reception a few months back and we are so grateful for his professionalism and respect for our sacred day and the time leading up to it. Our reception was pretty straightforward and easy but DJ Lo still took it seriously. We had a former professional DJ at the reception who later praised how on point DJ Lo was with everything the entire reception. He was punctual, efficient in our meeting to set the timeline and respected our preferences for music and read the crowd very well when adding songs. We hired Unique Style Productions for their photo booth services and they were absolutely amazing! They were by far our favorite vendor for our special day and many of our guests said the same! Leading up to the day, they were extremely informative in answering any of our questions whether it be coordinating arrival times, hours of service needed, etc. They reached out prior to the wedding to confirm our backdrop selection as well as the template option we wanted to use for our photo booth print outs. On the day of our Wedding we had Cesar as our photo booth attendant and he was so much fun, brought the energy and really engaged with everyone at the photo booth. He even went above and beyond and stepped in as the interim MC when he saw that the dance floor was a bit quiet. I highly encourage anyone looking to consider using them. I like that Lisa's review below pointed out that Cesar Gil is "irrational and unhinged." This totally described my interaction with Cesar Gil. I came into his office looking to hire him as my DJ for my wedding. Everything seemed fine until he presented me with the contract. In the contract, he as a provision that states he can get fully paid and not perform his services if he finds he is unable to perform his services due do to any interruptions(i.e. weather, lack of equipment at the venue). I told him this was an unfair clause in the contract; in the event, he finds he is unable to perform, he should be entitled to a portion of his payment. I proposed half of the negotiated rate since I know he does have to do some work beforehand. In my opinion, this was a fair proposal. This is the point where Cesar got very angry and told me I was being unreasonable and he deserved the full amount even in the event he cannot perform for whatever reason. He then yelled and said that no one has ever had a problem with his contract. I said, most people are not reading the fine print. That is when I told him I was an attorney and I make a living negotiating fair agreements. In an angry tone, he told me to leave his office and that he would not take me as a client. I think Cesar Gil was scared of the fact that I am an attorney because once I said this everything changed. He knows he is shady so he preferred to work with people who don't know or won't enforce their rights. I'd recommend looking for someone else as your DJ. read more

At the beginning of wedding planning, I went back and forth between wanting a band and wanting a DJ, and let me just say that I have absolutely NO regrets about going the DJ route. Cesar was incredible. They really mean it when they say they're "human pandoras." We made a small Spotify playlist and he took that and ran with it, feeding off the audience and understanding exactly what people wanted to keep them on the dance floor. Our dance floor was NEVER empty. For four hours. Cesar even got out onto the dance floor to show out-of-towners how to door the Copperhead Road line dance, which everyone thought was so much fun. Cesar was the DJ at my sister in laws wedding and holy smokes! This cat is an awesome DJ! The dance floor was full all night long. I have never been to a wedding where the dance floor is always full but there is a first for everything. If you want a DJ that is going to put on a party for everyone to have fun this is your guy. Such great dance music all night long we had a blast. I have no idea what he charges but it is worth whatever it is. It is so important to have a good DJ for your wedding because it makes such a difference I will remember that wedding because we had such an amazing time. We could not have been happier with our service! The photo booth was so much fun and the attendant was so great to work with!!! David, our DJ, is truly AMAZING!!!! He totally knows how to keep the party going!!! We are going on our 2nd prom with Unique Style and will continue to use them again!!! Cesar is an absolute professional. We had a really great time at our wedding thanks to him! I had no idea how much the night depended on the DJ! Cesar is an experienced DJ and MC. He kept the party going, improvised when necessary, and even translated for the spanish speaking half of the party. LOVE them :) We had DJGilT for our wedding in 2011 and he was awesome! He helped us create the perfect setting w/ music. Very professional & friendly! So recently needed DJ for a party and went w/ them again, this time had DJ SeeBass and again-very professional, friendly & had an awesome time with him as DJ. We even asked him to stay longer as we were having too much fun! They know their music, they are very professional-on time & so courteous, they make your party ROCK! HORRIBLE!!! The biggest and most infuriating issue we had was with the head guy Caesar. Two days before the wedding I stopped by the venue to set some things up/etc and this was the first time I met him other than email. After I introduced myself he simply started yelling at me telling me that they didn't/couldn't do the things we had asked of them. He proceeded to then ask me for more money!!! I replied with the fact that we had spent 4 months (Since January) planning with David Gil and there were no issue brought up about anything up to this point. He then replied that I was being unreasonable and that he had never experienced this before. I told him I didn't know how/what they had to do as far as technology (not a tech person), but there was no issues brought up before then and per our contract I had no more money that I owed him as I paid in full 3 months in advance. I found out during the wedding that my fiance had planned with David/Cesar to surprise me with a kareoke song. Cesar was telling me 2 days before the wedding about this "video" surprise. He almost ruined the surprise!!! This is uncalled for in sooooooo many ways. I would suggest to every bride to NEVER work with them. Cesar is irrational and unhinged. How can you treat a bride this way 2 days before her wedding day?? Brides have enough to deal with, you don't need an angry DJ threatening you they can't deliver and need more money right before your big day. read more

Cesar and Unique Style Productions did an amazing job at our daughter's wedding this past weekend at Hughes Manor. Along with her first dance list, my daughter compiled a list of songs she definitely wanted included, a list of songs she really likes (so Cesar would have an idea of the type of music she and her fiancé wanted at their wedding), and artists whose music she did not want included -- as well as a few "special" songs (the Aggie War Hymn, some family favorites, etc.). She emailed it to him a month ahead of the wedding. Of course, there were a few last-minute changes, which Cesar was glad to accommodate. Cesar energized the place and did an excellent job of mixing up songs. The dance floor was full all night long! He was great and went above and beyond to make my daughter's wedding special. Ceasar did an amazing job with my wedding this weekend. We wanted a Crazy Rich Asians vibe wedding and he literally timed everything to the second. He saw the vision that we had and made it possible and also helped with the up-lighting and bogo lighting! We played worship songs when guests were arriving and Ceasar timed the ceremony walk out exactly like the movie, left the altar to Circle of Life by Lion King, and even did a grand entrance to Glorious, and it was totally amazing. We dealt with Cesar directly for our wedding (late post) but he was awesome. He checked our music ahead of time and got a feel for the kind of party we wanted for our reception. My wife and I also did our own custom dances and he was able to mix/cut our music days before the wedding at no additional cost. He was great and I couldn't have been happier with his services. I initially met Cesar when I accompanied a friend to a bridal event last year. He was very friendly and personable. His business card floated around in one of my purses for 6-9 months. Shortly after I got engaged, a friend from college highly recommended Cesar and Unique Style Productions. So, when I was ready to book a DJ for my wedding, he was the first one I contacted. I quickly received an email from Cesar with a list of their packages. Cesar also suggested we set up a meeting to discuss their services in more detail. I responded with a few dates and times but did not hear back. I waited about a week and after no response, I called and left a voicemail for Cesar. This was back in October 2013, it is now almost March 2014, and I have yet to hear back from Cesar or anyone with Unique Style. read more

I used Unique Style Productions for my wedding DJ and photo booth and I was so happy I did! Cesar was amazing and really did a great job making sure all the music that we requested was played. He was super laid back and easy to work with which is obviously always a plus! I felt like I changed my mind with songs a million times and he never minded and made sure everything was perfect the day of the wedding. We worked with Alex for our wedding day. He was great in suggesting songs to play for the different parts of our ceremony/reception. He was responsive in our communications. Our only issue was that he kept pronouncing my last name wrong and we wished there were more speakers in the reception area for the speeches and toasts. read more

I must say I have not yet experience the Unique Style Productions, however I know the Owner Cesar Gil, and he is an amazing guy  who offered to help me Fundraiser with his Firm for the MSBP150!!! Not only dose his firm want to support me, but they offered to make me a motivation disc while I am in training for this Event! I can't wait to hear the Mix CD because I know it will push me to the Finish line more than ever! What makes it even more special about the CD is that he took the time to ask me what kind of songs I manly like, to get an idea of what I love to here. As mentioned before I never experienced an actual event with Unique Style Productions, however I know for sure whenever it is my lucky day to get married, the first thing I would do is call the Unique Style Productions so they can organize my Wedding, because I know that I can rely on them and I will receive only excellent service! We had a multicultural wedding in March. When I say multicultural, I mean MULTICULTURAL!!! I'm Persian, husband is Mexican and of course our American side. I honestly was so concerned about how the music would all turn out. We wanted to represent all 3 cultures equally. Cesar was so patient with us and really listened to what we had envisioned. We sat down and went down a list, song by song, of what we wanted to include. He even came up with a fun new way to introduce the bridal party. I can't even express how AMAZING it all turned out!! He was playing a little bit of Persian, then would throw in some bachata, then some Motown. It was so awesome and so fun! The dance floor stayed packed the entire time! Everyone loved it! DJ Ivan is hands down one of the best DJs I've ever heard! He dj'd our wedding in August and he knows how to keep the party alive! He was great on the mic and all of our guests have said so many great things about him! He mixed up a special song selection for us to include songs from the 90s to now and our guests were blown away! Thanks for rocking our reception and being so easy to work with! We also rented the light up dj booth which turned our amazing along with the photobooth. We had pictures back from the photobooth in no time and we had the best laughs going through them! I had a terrible experience with DJ Alex Anding with Unique Style Productions. I met him when first viewing my venue, and speaking to him - he seemed really professional and like he knew what he was doing. My fiancé and I went to their office, spoke some more, and booked them. Alex has terrible communication skills - via e-mail, he would never respond. Via text, he was hardly responsive, and via phone call - he would work around his schedule of grocery shopping and other personal errands - though I am a paying customer. When it came time to meet in person, I gave him an entire outline of exactly how I wanted my bridal party to be introduced and a flash drive of songs I was interested in. He commented on how my work made his job so much easier, yet on my wedding day - he still couldn't pull it off. He played the bridal party entrance songs out of order, and announced one bridesmaid's name twice and another, he never mentioned. I had a ring girl and a flower girl which was clearly stated on the timeline I printed for him - yet he still announced them incorrectly. His mistakes will forever be in my wedding video, which is very upsetting. Furthermore, we asked that he mix several different genres of music - country, hip-hop, salsa, etc... my matron of honor had to go up to him a few times to let him know he needs to switch genres and he was playing too much of one kind. Do yourself a favor and look into other companies and if you do go with Unique Style Productions, do not choose DJ Alex Anding - he clearly has no sense in professionalism. I went out of my way to do what no other bride has done for him with a clear outline and he still failed in his job. read more
