On 8/24/2020 I was told that my Vitamin D was low along with a few other minor vitamin deficiencies. I was told that I would be put on a schedule to come to the office and have these vitamins administered by IV. I told Carla Brook that I was not going to be administering anything by IV and the costs quoted was outrageous. I requested a copy of my labs to be posted to my portal. Nearly three years later, they have never provided me with the lab results that I paid for and simply ignore my requests. I've now requested that my information in their custody and on their portal be destroyed and my account closed. No answer. I can't speak for the glowing reviews this practice gets because this is the worst I have ever experienced.

LOCATION and AMBIANCE Place... close to my gym, difficult to find, since access is not directly by the parking lot, and pretty obviously one of the smallest spaces in the office park. Decorations and style of the interior, reminded me of a cross between a grandmother's house (furniture dating from 40 years ago, too many tchotkes) with some bad Frenchie style gilt mirrors and bad crystal. Not feelin' the vibe, in comparison to the usual medspa haunts... but the lure of reasonable lash extensions led me onward... I could deal, if this got me what I was looking for... SERVICE Okay, the lash tech, daughter of 'Marie' I gleaned from the conversation, was running late on the appointment... because the person ahead of me had gotten there 30 minutes late, cutting into my appointment time. NOT COOL, this is NOT how you gain my admiration or return... BUT it was the day of another Xmas Party, and I had scheduled this into my calendar, so I waited, finally got in, and had them done. Different brand of lashes, supposed to be better technical design, okay... after the 45+ minutes of application, the results were... thicker in diameter, and a lot of them seemed to be attached at a ratio of 1 extension to 1-2 or even 3 of my lashes. All one length across the whole lash, they should be varied in size (8-10-12mm) longer at the corners, shorter toward the center, ideally matched to the supporting lash so that it doesnt flip around - which happened, because the extension being longer than the lash, is not stable, and obviously not attached at the base. Okay - maybe I am getting boring with the details, summary, I went back in 2 weeks and complained that a lot of them had dropped, or clumped together and pulled out when I combed through them. Pretty much demanded repair or a refund... these are supposed to last the life of the lash... which can be anywhere from 30-90 days... not 10... Second repair, lasted 2 weeks again, not the life of the lashes... if it had, I would not have any lashes where the extensions were attached - strangely, I have tons of lashes where they were. HMM... Going back 2-3 times a month to get lashes done negates the 'savings'... right?

We put our trust in this place and in these Dr's to be completely and utterly disappointed. 1st surgery was a breast reconstruction surgery and we noticed the Incisions bigger than usual and her breast spread apart and not sitting right. 2nd surgery was an arm lift and after surgery same thing, Incisions bigger than usual and some keloid. 3rd surgery was a complete body lift. From my understanding in between these surgeries the dr would reassure my wife that everything is done in sessions. Long story short my wife got her arms done 3 times by dr Ashpole and no difference from the first surgery. We've gotten 3 different opinions and all have said this Dr. Has done a horrible job. One leg is bigger than the other. One leg no keloid and healing ok but the other is bad. She's got a ball on the back of one of her arms. I went there to speak with the owner to make light of all this and with hope of getting a resolution. To fix her. Dr. Garg got loud with my wife by the entrance until he saw me. Took us to his office but the conversation didn't go anywhere. He kept insisting we speak with Ashpole and giving us the run around. At the end told us find someone to fix her and he will pay for it. We've found several Dr's that would help her but after trying to contact Dr Garg he was nowhere to be found. Secretary finally told us that he stated he's not responsible and has nothing to do with Dr Ashpole. WOW!! 2 weeks later we received a letter from Ashpole stating that he can no longer see her. I went again to talk with Dr Garg and the secretary told me he's not in will be back at 2pm. I came with my wife at 2 pm to find out they called the police and said I threatened them. This place is the worst of the worst!!! The nicest people at first until they get your money. There all about money and they don't care about patients. That's some serious commitment. That was more than enough to convince me to try her out. I started using Liz as soon as I moved and have been using her ever since. It has been about 3 years. Full transparency, I have tried other lash services in Chicago over the years in hopes to eliminate making the drive to the suburbs every few weeks. Let me tell you, it has never been worth it. The quality of Liz's services, lashes and technique by far surpass any of the other companies or products I have tried...and there have been many. I finally stopped trying other places because why mess with a good thing ;) For those of you who are reading reviews for cost purposes, I will let you know that she comes in very competitively. In my opinion, where she beats everyone coming in the same range, is the length of time the lashes actually stay on. Most places advertise three weeks, but I have only successfully experienced that with Liz. Aside from my personal love for my lashes, I am constantly getting compliments on the uniqueness of my lashes and the quality. I highly recommend her.
