I was moving from Indiana to Chicago and was referred to Liz by my old lash tech. Let me side bar this real quick-- my previous lash lady worked in Granger, IN and drove all the way to Schaumburg, IL to get her lashes done by Liz. That is 2.5 hours, folks! That's some serious commitment. That was more than enough to convince me to try her out. I started using Liz as soon as I moved and have been using her ever since. It has been about 3 years. Full transparency, I have tried other lash services in Chicago over the years in hopes to eliminate making the drive to the suburbs every few weeks. Let me tell you, it has never been worth it. The quality of Liz's services, lashes and technique by far surpass any of the other companies or products I have tried...and there have been many. I finally stopped trying other places because why mess with a good thing ;) For those of you who are reading reviews for cost purposes, I will let you know that she comes in very competitively. In my opinion, where she beats everyone coming in the same range, is the length of time the lashes actually stay on. Most places advertise three weeks, but I have only successfully experienced that with Liz. I'm so happy with my lashes! After thinking about it for a couple of years and intermittent usage of magnetic eyelashes, I finally decided to splurge. This is just the boost I needed! Liz is also very nice and professional and did a top notch job! Definitely interested in other services now. As for location, it's fairly easy to find on Higgins within an office plaza. Wow, wow,wow!! Still in love with the lashes done by Liz. They look amazing!! Her studio was small but tastefully decorated. The suite is located in an office complex next to Lifetime Fitness on the corner of Higgins and Plum Grove. Her services are based on appointments only but she works 7 days a week and is very flexible. Scheduling appointments with her is very easy because she uses her personal cell phone so clients can contact her directly at anytime. I normally make my appointments by texting her. Lashes start at $150 and last about 3 weeks. Refills start at $60 depending on how many need to be replaced. read more

If you are thinking of lash extensions, Lashes by Liz is the only place to go. I had extensions done at two previous locations & there is no comparison to Lashes by Liz. My lashes are beautiful & I get many compliments. When I had lashes done at other places, the glue was thick, stiff & clumpy.The glue that Liz uses is undetectable & my lashes are soft, just as if they were my own. I wasn't going to write a review about Elizabeth , but everybody told me I'm obligated to do so , to warn other women , so it will not happen to them . I am not trying to get even or revenge , this is not my motivation. .I have been considering do permanent brows for myself for a while already .I did found Elizabeth Intranet .When I read her reviews , all reviews are 5 Stars, that's what I was looking for , somebody professional , that know what she is doing .The only thing , I overlooked was, that most of her reviews are about her doing great work with eyelashes ,I have not seen one about browse . My fault I should have been more careful .On October I came from Cancun vacation , and I realized it would be very nice to have permanent brows , me been blonde , it will makes my life so much easier , especially because I was going again on Cancun vacation on Thanksgiving . I did called Elizabeth's she seemed very nice person very professional . Elizabeth give me the price of $650.00 1st appointment to do brows , 2nd the follow up , to make additional corrections if necessary , so I decide to make appointment with her . It was evening appointments. I went there we talked a little bit what I want , I mention to Elizabeth specifically , that I don't want arches , she drew my brows the first time , when I did see it , I told her this is not what I want , these are arches .She wiped it off and draw again .She was almost perfect except she was using very thick black pencil ,also her beauty salon it is very dark inside . I did mention again to her , as long as I don't get arches will be okay so she mentioned to me , that she will be staying inside the frame line . I have noticed during the process , she reached for brow template , she did not continue to do work based on what we draw .I'll be honest , I got a little nervous because I felt her going too close to my nose and inner brow .When she finished and I saw in the mirror , I was devastated . But she assured me that it fresh ink and that is swollen, it will go down in time and will nice in 2 weeks .When I got home my husband saw me he asked me to come closer , and he told me , you do realize these are not straight .In home I was able to see good , not that the only they were not straight, they were totally not even , one is going from middle up and the other from middle down , one was lower, one is higher .I literally was crying myself to sleep for a week . I was so devastated ,I was going for Thanksgiving vacation to Cancun and I look like crazy mad person .My husband have tattoo done ,he told me there is nothing I can do , she will not going to be able do nothing the damage was too big , it is a tattoo . I mentioned to him that I have a follow-up with Elizabeth that she will fix it .I tried to reach Elizabeth before the second appointment , but she was not reachable she was gone for vacation , I decided to let it go and call her after Christmas .I was able to get hold of her after New Year's Eve I believe . I told her what happened that I am so unhappy with my brows , she told me to come back , that she will fix it.So since beginning of January I've been going to Elizabeth Salon every 2 weeks , to do needlepeeling to remove the brows, last one was just peeling only .It was absolutely torture ,without much visible effects. I have noticed that she do Botox , I figure maybe if she does Botox on my forehead , maybe it will lift my middle brows up , so I will not look so mad .She said , great idea it would look great on me , she told me the price is $295 for forehand , which is fine .I have done Botox many times before .So guess what , another disaster , she does not know how to inject Botox, she went way too high on my forehead , the inner brow sagged , it dropped down so much , I had a hard time keeping my eyes open- look at the picture . I had enough of the torturing and not experienced beautician that have no idea what she's doing . My husband so many times told me, not to go back to her , and my friends that saw me also , to find somebody else to repair my brows . I should have listened to him and everybody and never go back to Elizabeth . I went fast to Mad Spa Sky Clinic , where i have been doing botox before , and where doctor work on it .I was desperate to repair my sagging inner brow . Unfortunately once the botox is done , you have to wait at least 2 weeks to inject new Botox , when the doctor saw me he's face expression was unbelievable , he said to me "OOH men who did this to you" He warned me not to go back to Elizabeth , people like her don't know what they are doing .I did also consult a professional,beautician she do repairs of permanent makeup .Same thing when she saw me ,she said something Dr, said "Oh man who did this to you, how did you let anybody do this to you ? " At this point I cried , I believe Elizabeth she was supposed to make me look good , and instead she f***** up my face. read more

I've seen Liz many times. She is fantastic, personable and sooooo knowledgeable. Her office is super comfortable, soothing music, calming aromas, warming blankets. The lash extensions I received are so beautiful! I have naturally blonde lashes, and I REALLY don't need mascara now. They are long, full, and dark. I could never get away with no mascara, even with Latisse, because although that builds lashes, it doesn't help the light color. I also had a fantastic facial. It's not a one-off facial, just like eyelash extensions, if you want to keep the great look, you need to handle maintenance. Liz also permanently darkened my eyebrows, they were blonde and sparse, now they are darker?, look fuller and have perfect arch. I'm almost 48, and I need regular upkeep. The facial I chose is not a Botox bandaid, it's real improvement. (Don't get me wrong, I'm no Botox hater!) Every single time I see Liz, I learn something new. She is on the very cutting edge of skin care, never the same old process...she always improves with the latest technology and study.
