I was traveling with my almost 100 year old Mother in a wheelchair and employee Jackson was amazing. He has a longer birth name, but he said I could call him Jackson. What a fantastic employee. He was such a great asset and kind. It was so refreshing best way to start a trip. The woman at the gate was very lovely too.

Calm easy flight, the only complaint was the flight attendants kept skipping a portion of the pain, for the headphones and the application for united CC. My loss I guess.

@united left me stranded 1000's of miles from home in Billings, MT. They had confirmed 2x that I could travel with a kitten in a carrier, and at the airport I was told it was too young (12 weeks), despite my having confirmed the age was sufficient previously. I was specifically told I could travel with it. I had to pay close to $1000 to get home. I was told by the ticket agent: "that's not my problem - why don't you take it (the kitten) back to where you got it." I received nominal ($100) inadequate reimbursement for this travel nightmare. Use any other airline by United.

I have flown about 1,500,000 miles with United over my career. Over this time, the delays due to weather are increasing beyond belief. Has weather gotten that much worse in five years??? No - due to cost cutting, United has consolidated hubs to a few of the busiest airports in the country. Now if weather does hit, most every flight is now affected. The concern of providing a service that offers timely delivery to your destination is truly being lost. ... Delay has now been extended to 6pm departure!

Anyone miss Continental? Man those were the good 'ole days. So the good news, United will usually get you to where they promised but on occasion it's like the cable guy, just give us a 4 hour arrival window Customer service can be really good at times or really bad. I just had an unpleasant experience with a counter agent and then positive interactions with both gate agent and a flight attendant, so what is that a 66% on customer service. And if you ask the good ones, YEP they were previous Continental Employees. It's literally night and day between the Houston crews and the Chicago crews. United needs to learn from their previous Continental management teams on employee training and hiring. But anyways I tried to keep my loyalty with United after they bought Continental and did for the first few years. I've flown over 600,000 miles with them and well over 2,000,000 miles, But so much has changed for the worse. First and foremost, being able to rack up and then USE those points! The whole point of being a frequent flyer is to save up your miles and then be able to use the miles with value. I've had the United Chase credit card for at least 15 years but there's never any flights available anymore with the minimum 25,000 points for a round trip domestic ticket. Unless you are willing to take a ridiculous overnight 20+ hour flight that you could drive in less time. Who buys those tickets! Why are they even an option? If you want to use points for a ticket you'd want, expect to spend double the normal points. Next, the introduction of "Basic" Economy tickets. I'm pretty sure United started that crap. Who ever came up with that idea, obviously works for United and will NEVER have to actually fly on this type of ticket. Same price of ticket as before just far more useless. No seat assignment Ever until you are getting on the plane, you can't even pay them $ to get a seat assignment, no option at all to pay a fee to change your ticket if you need to cancel it or change it. Again, countless revenue is being missed by not accepting fees for these changes... Next, I can't tell you how many times I've searched for tickets these days and United has a similar flight as other airlines but it's just 30-50% more, why!?! Nope, that's not worth it. Lastly, I do have to make a shout out to United, and here's how they moved from 2 to 3 stars. I left a bag with something quite valuable in it on one of their planes this past March. Reported it lost on their website and 3-4 weeks later it was returned, totally expecting to never see it again. Nice job United, I've told many people the whole story! Now please get rid of basic economy and make your points usable!

No one's happy here when there's a mechanical delay masked as a weather delay.

Frontier is terrible and I wish I hadn't used this airline as my flight to and from Tampa in March…read more2025. But I did, and they better thank me for their two stars. My entire group of friends booked Frontier for our flight to Tampa so I reluctantly did too. I have a traumatic history with Frontier as they canceled my flight 4 years ago to Phoenix last minute and I missed a friend's Bachelorette party. Then they made me through heck to get my money back! They nickel and dime EVERYTHING and they give nothing out for free, not even an in-flight snack or soft drinks! You even have to pay for your CARRY-ON!! And you better not be an ounce over 40 pounds on your checked bag or you'll get charged a hefty oversized fee. Fortunately, my suitcase was less than 30 pounds but my friend had to stuff some stuff in my bag since hers was 1 pound over and they were going to charge her! As for the flight itself, we left late because they apparently miscounted the number of passengers on their books. I wasn't expecting in-flight entertainment but at least put in outlets to charge devices so we can watch our own entertainment! The take off was so bumpy and I got so queezy that I nearly cried. And some might be happy about this, but I was disappointed to see that the seats did not have the ability to lean back a bit. I am giving Frontier two stars instead of just one because I feel sorry for the staff as they seem worn out but still are kind. And I didn't die on my flight, so that's a plus!

Coming home , we were in row behind the middle exit and flight attendant asked us if we knew what we had to do. treated us like children. No snacks for free, not even a cup of water on either trip. Attendants did not help in any way, but kept saying how much they valued all of us. Also, they never shut up, kept talking while some slept and I tried to read. Pilots are great , got us there and back safely. Attendants attended to very little. Also Frontier owes us $600 dollars from a trip in 2022. We've tried repeatedly to get the money when the plane was broken and we had to find our own way to our destination. We will never fly Frontier again if we have a choice.

Their staff was so universally horrible that I feel like it couldnt even have been possible without a premeditated and concerted effort. It was as if they were a team of charades players seeking to act out the word "disinterested". Some of the futility of Spirit Airlines was out of their hands, and part of a larger bait and switch approach to doing business. But when you're charging me for a carry-on that is free on every other airline, or charging my wife and I at the last second $80 to sit together, can you at least ACT empathetic to our plight? Their nonchalance was utterly unbearable- as their company slowly pecked away at my children's college fund one hustle at a time. Do you know what your check-in lady's response was when I challenged the fact that she was charging me $80 for a carry-on? No? Neither do I...because her response was whispered to the apparent mouse burrowing in her front pocket, and I was left standing there bewildered- wondering what could have been if I had only chosen one of the real airlines.

Located between the Greater Cleveland metropolitan suburbs of Berea and Brooklyn Heights (in the outer suburb of Brookpark) and on the grounds of the new Cleveland Browns stadium, and about 8.7 miles directly southwest of downtown Cleveland, in the designated neighborhood of Hopkins (known as Riverside until 2015). Cleveland-Hopkins covers an area of 1,717 acres in Brookpark's Hopkins neighborhood, and has three "standard" (for the US) runways, though unlike San Diego, it has no EMAS arrestor system for aircraft. Hopkins and San Diego are actually about the same geographic size. One of NASA's ten designated field research sites, the Glenn Research Center, is on airport grounds but not airport property as NASA is a federal department paid by US taxes each year. I wasn't exaggerating when I mentioned that Cleveland-Hopkins has been at the forefront of pioneering innovations. CLE was the first airport with an air traffic control tower (ATC) and a two-level/split design separating arrivals from departures. Both of which are now ubiquitous at nearly every airport in the US, and most airports around the world today. In fact, it is now mandated by FAA regulations to have some type of true air traffic control tower. Cleveland-Hopkins was also the first airport in North America to be directly connected with a rail transit line, connected directly to the red line train of the Greater Cleveland Rapid Transit Authority (GCRTA) with a built-in train station beneath the airport-proper that connects to departures through a quick escalator or elevator ride. Cleveland-Hopkins was a hub for United Airlines from the post-World War II era until the mid-1980s. After United moved out, Continental Airlines moved in, making it the dominant carrier at the airport in the 1990s and 2000s. In 2010, United and Continental merged, keeping the United name and eliminating the Continental name, resulting in Cleveland becoming a United hub again. However, in 2014, United discontinued its hub, though it still has a flight attendant base, pilot base, and maintenance facilities at the airport and is its largest carrier by passenger count. When United stopped using CLE as a hub in 2014, they closed Concourse D (a separate satellite terminal connected to the main facility via underground walkway) but United kept paying rent on the lease to the satellite. Even in 2026, United is still the largest carrier at Cleveland-Hopkins despite the prevalence of Low-Cost Carriers who found a new home at CLE; with the shutdown of Spirit Airlines, United closed the metaphorical door on Low-Cost Carriers expanding or coming into Cleveland-Hopkins. Most LCCs have, for the most part, aside from Allegiant Air, Sun Country (until their merger with Allegiant is finalized though Allegiant likely is not moving out), and Southwest Airlines, pulled out of Cleveland-Hopkins to center their operations further south at Akron-Canton Regional Airport, which is more affordable for Low-Cost Carriers per gate rental. Some context for the "Hopkins" moniker; CLE airport was named after its founder, former city manager William R. Hopkins, which the city dedicated to him on Hopkins' 82nd birthday in 1951, 26 years after the airport itself was founded by Hopkins; Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport (CLE) turns 101 years old this month. Decent, but looking forward to the improvements.

Before you get ahead of yourself and try to do everything on your own online, call Phyllis. I didn't think that I needed a travel agent these days (I mean the internet and trip advisor were all I needed, right?), but I was totally wrong. My sister and I couldn't decide on a Caribbean location for our resort trip, so Phyllis sat with us and gave us her first hand experience of all the different islands and their strengths and weaknesses. This woman has been everywhere and her knowledge and experience is super helpful. She ended up booking us a great off season deal at a 5 star all inclusive in Jamaica. It was beautiful, relaxing, and the food was amazing and authentic. And when we were stuck in the Jamaican airport on the way home because our plane was grounded in Charlotte with technical difficulties, all of our fellow passengers had to stand in these horribly long lines in the sweltering heat (no a/c in the airport concourse) while with a call to Phyllis, she got us rebooked on a flight, first class, and in the meantime we whiles away the wait with our passes to the members only lounge in the airport she recommended we spring for. She really saved us. So of course we've gone back to her for our family trip to Aruba, and my sisters trip to Mexico. Really, you can't go wrong with Phyllis, and when things do unexpectedly go wrong on your trip, she is there for you.
