Service has degraded since the last visit. The lounge feels more chaotic and white-knuckling it with the massive influx of travelers. The last time I was here, it was more mellow, but this most recent time it was like the team here was overwhelmed with the amount of work. They had a difficult time keeping up with busing the tables, and replenishing food on the buffet in a timely manner. I don't think this was their fault, it really just felt like too many travelers we cycling through. The team did do there best to try to get ahead if things, but it just wasn't enough. There were also some misses that point to being time constrained. For example, when the lunch spread was brought out, there was a couscous salad that was on the buffet. I served myself some of it, and it was missing a dressing or oil as a binder. It was definitely not intended to be served that way. The rest of the food was fine. I had a street corn soup with cilantro oil and jalapeno cornbread. This was pretty good. But earlier in the stay on the tail end of breakfast I had an acai smoothie, and my complaint was they put 2 whole blueberries as garnish I suppose, but didn't see it until I took a swig. I didn't think it's a good idea to put whole blueberries in the jars because this could be a choking hazard. Just something to think about when serving drinks. It was pretty jarring and unnecessary. The bathroom was clean and orderly. Overall, I remembered my last visit nearly a year ago being better. While this is a still decent lounge, it's disappointing because I know they are capable of doing better. read more

United Lounge - E7 (DFW Airport) At United Airlines, your first interaction with a staff, gives you a sense of how your experience will be. As I walked in to the lounge I was greeted by two ladies with genuine big smiles. I scanned my boarding pass and mentioned, "I am SilverKris Gold member." Singapore Air partnered with United to provide additional elevated travel services. Both ladies were very knowledgeable about the partnership and they asked, "Can we see your SilverKris Gold Card? We need to put it in manually in our system to check you in complimentary." After they checked me in, I went inside the lounge to find a comfortable seat and get breakfast. For 06:00, it was extremely busy and hardly any seats available. Compared to other United Lounges I've visited, this one is comparatively small. After finding my seat, I headed for the breakfast bar. The selection was ok, not great. They offer two trays of hot items, potatoes, bacon and egg bites. A selection of breads, condiments and fruits. A multi functional coffee machines. They had a separate spot for additional fruit area and the tangerines were really old and should have been thrown out. The plates, utensils, coffee mugs and tables were all dirty. Sure, they cleaned it periodically. But, despite all the staff being friendly, It didn't feel comfortable staying at a lounge for $59/person. The staff could have done better job at keeping the lounge clean. At one point, I ordered club soda from the bar and the lady poured it in a glass. When I went to sit back at my chair and take a sip, the glass had a big coffee stain. I've traveled through this lounge several times prior and I had a much better experience with both it being busy and not so busy. I'm not sure what happened this time with the cleaning crew. Overall, it was a good experience. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Despite being busy or not, facilities should have more staff to keep it clean. This is a privilege lounge to those paying $59 per visit, per person. It goes without saying that facilities should be pleasant to each guest. read more

I am not sure I can say great things about the Terminal C United club. It is cramped. It is consistently overcrowded and the food is average at best. I stopped by the United lounge while waiting for my flight back to NJ. The lounge was pretty packed as expected, it's very small compared to huge number of United passengers that travel through this terminal multiple times. Luckily we found an empty table. Initially I found the entree items empty. About 10 minutes later they brought in refills for those empty trays. I ate some cookies and snacks. Those were good. But the coffee machine was out of service. That was disappointing to see any many travelers use it for their drinks. The restroom in this lounge is also very small, but relatively clean. read more

Quiet in here on a Saturday around noon. Maybe 10% full. Buffet is lackluster but has a few options for fueling up pre-flight. Handful of seats at the bar with a TV to help pass the time if you have a long wait before your flight. Men's restroom has 3 positions but not much privacy nor is it attractive like many other lounges. Dining area is not super clean or kept up well but does have a variety of tables and seating adjacent to the table area. The lounge is in need of care - if not an overhaul - and lags behind other lounges including the Delta Sky Club in the same terminal. It serves it's purpose but in no way impresses nor is it a place I look forward to visiting (the Capital One Lounge in Terminal D is). It's great , all the drinks and breakfast , lunch or snacks , even gummy bears! Perfect place to chill and wait for your plane ride! Perks of having the chase credit card from United , they give you 2 free passes. Also If you are global service member you get access to the United club, some exclusions apply, but for now that's the case lol you get in! The food is alright, honestly I'm just here for the drinks, I get a beer to sip here and once I'm about to leave to board, I order another one chug it and I'm ready lol .. happy plane ride to my destination, lol! You can also pay to get in , I think it's $60per person, I'm not sure , but to be honest I would check out the buffet before paying , just to make sure . Unless you are having drinks then go for it lol then thangs are expensive at the airport! They have areas to sit and work in peace, there's tables with outlets all over , couch to relax , oh and the restroom is worth it! I loved it! Only thing that needs work is the staff when you enter , they can be rude for no reason , this has happened a couple of times . Once you walk in, they don't greet you , I had to be the one saying good morning , or hello because that's just me.. I don't expect everyone to respond, but if you are in the service industry that's your job. As always United Clubs are great perks if you have them. It allows you to get away from the traffic area of airports and allows you to wait for your flight in a less stress environment. Only reason this location is getting 4/5 stars, is because they don't have a quiet/business area to work in. At other lounges, if you are working - there is a couple areas dedicated to working and helps with drowning out all the noise in the lounge. read more

The United Red Carpet Club is my travel companion and I'm not sure if I could live without it. It comes in handy when flight delays trap you at the airport. It's comfortable, has free WiFi, offers numerous snacks and complimentary alcoholic beverages to cope with the travel stress. This particular club is on the small size, but is very nice and clean. The snack selection is also lacking in the fresh snack department like in Denver. Nonetheless, it's still nicer than some of them I've visited in the past. Its interior decor finishes are the usual mahogany wood with leather upholstery throughout. The service was professional and very friendly. Beats any gate area without doubt! It's definitely worth the annual fee for a frequent traveler, which is why I've been a member for almost a decade. read more

This location of the Continental Airlines President Club is located in Terminal E of DFW. Somewhat small, but nice with a nice view of the Airport operations. On the negative side, I know it is against their "policy," but I was tired and hungry. I smuggled a Burger King Double cheeseburger in - in my computer bag and was wolfing it down while sitting at a table and working on my computer. A minute later one of the Continental employees came over and told me I had to leave to finish my burger. So I walked to the front door of the Club, opened the door, stepped outside, ate the last bite, walked right back in, looked at the lady, and asked her "Are you happy now?" She responded: "It's our policy." I can see how my burger interferes with and competes with their outstanding selection of crackers. read more

This is a small Club, but it has the usual features and functionality of other United Clubs in the system. Chairs, work carrels and tables are available and all have power outlets and easy access to their free wifi. Free beer and wine and soda, plus the single wrapped cheese, carrots and snacks that are the same in all United Clubs. The Club closes earlier than I would have liked - it is clearly designed to support the United and Star Alliance fliers that are originating or terminating their travel here in Dallas. Even 5x greater than United's much larger EWR Club, which is shamefully poor. * Adjacent to United gates. * Wi-Fi worked reliably but took minutes to sync up. Front desk even helped with log-in issue using my iPhone. Well done! Minor Gripe: While you don't have to walk far, signage from security to the Club is lacking. You'll figure it out. Word for United Club Management: I do wish United would study Lufthansa's Lounge approach to hospitality, and simply borrow half of it--that would be a great start. I suspect that United Clubs are run by bean-counters...not hospitality people. Tip: If you are unfamiliar with DFW airport, larger than some small cities (you can look it up...27 sq miles!), allow PLENTY OF TIME TO RETURN YOUR RENTAL CAR. 45 mins is not overdoing it from time you enter the airport to arrival at check-in, and even longer during peak hours and holidays. read more

I usually fly United, but for the last 6 months, I have been flying American. Most of my flights connected through DFW. Heck, last month I had a trip from Sacramento to Seattle that connected in Dallas. The reason I don't mind all of the connections is because it's DFW. DFW is of the few airports where the Skylink/monorail system between terminals is after security. That means, I can go from any of the American terminals to Terminal E. I wouldn't go as far as calling it the United terminal, but Terminal E is where the United & Delta gates are...it's sort of the overflow terminal. As soon as I land, I go straight to the Skylink and head to Terminal E, not for a flight, but to relax for a few at the United Club. Grab a quick Shiner or a white wine, charge my phone for a few or just get away from all the nonsense that goes on outside. The Dallas lounge is pretty small, but they are in the process of remodeling and will have an additional 51 seats within a few months. Realistically though, it's never been hard for me to get a seat, even in the bar area. I am shocked at the reviews to this location. People are way friendly than me when it comes to my money and what I expect for it. We have been here twice and this is by far the WORST club United has to offer. The only thing right is a little comfort away from the masses. Otherwise, save your $50 or your pass of any sort. If you are an annual member then you probably don't care. So, I am reaching out to those people that may have bought a $50 pass or using a free pass from having the credit card. Most clubs offer a variety of drinks from alcoholic to non-alcoholic. AND offer a huge variety of snacks, fruit, etc. Not only do you get to relax, but your belly feels satisfied. Don't expect that at this club. They have water and maybe a few sodas if they haven't ran out or you pick one that they charge you for. If the bar is open, then you can only get Budweiser for free. Otherwise you have to pay for everything...in addition to the $50 it cost you to get in there...and you have to tip. Seriously? As for the food...there best is dried up bagels. An apple may be left over if you're lucky. Not exactly what I want to pay $50 for. Plus, you'll be hard pressed to find an employee or anyone working in there other than the person that will charge you the $50 or take your pass. Is this really what you want to spend $50 on? Really, you are just paying for comfort away from the masses here and that is all you get that is decent. You'd be better off finding a bar and paying for a few drinks alcoholic or non and buying some snacks...way cheaper. For that matter, a cozy spot where the flights aren't boarding for a bit may also give you the comfort you seek instead of paying $50 for the club or literally wasting your pass. This is the only club at the Dallas airport...so its really sad that it's so bad. The first time we thought we caught it on a bad day. The second time sealed it. There won't be a third. The place can close for all we care and probably should...it would be a better justice for those of us that seek the proper United Club services. read more

This lounge may have the friendliest agents EVER. I am currently still sitting in the lounge, where I've been for about 4 hours, but they have been nothing but accommodating. Between trying to find me alternate flights and food options and providing updates, they have been nothing but friendly. While the lounges typically have the great staff, this lounge was exceptional. Food: your typical lounge food but I had this chicken tequila? (Might be forgetting the name) soup and it was FANTASTIC. I ate a few more bowls before my departure. 5/5 soup. Space: One of the more okay sized lounge. Seating and space can fill quickly. Telephone Room is a plus if you have a call to make. Relax room is really the nap room. read more

This is currently the only club at DFW that I have access to. No matter what gate I am flying in or out of I usually end up here for an hour or more. It's conveniently located to the Skylink station for gates E1-E7. When you get off the Skylink just make a right as you walk away from the bottom of the escalators and the club will be on your right immediately after the bathrooms. You can also be dropped off near the club outside security even if you are not flying out of the E terminal or United, but if you are checking bags you must check them in the terminal where your airline is located. The 'security' lady at terminal E won't let you use the1st class/premier lane even if you are flying first on another airline though. The club isn't huge (but it is an adequate cosy size) and the staff is polite. **They have complementary Shiner Bock on draft! Yum... ** They have no real food except munchies. (I think they probably have breakfast here judging from the toaster, but have never been here that early). The bagged carrots are ok. The scotch butter cookies are good with some complimentary green tea. The standard trail mix dispenser goodies go well with the Shiner Bock. The Wifi is FAST! I actually was able to watch Netflix on my IPAD the last time I was there. I have actually fallen asleep here several times. It isn't usually very noisy and the cozy design seems to muffle what noise there is. read more

This place is 5 star worthy unless you are here when it is super busy and there is not a single place to sit. The staff is friendly and drinks are cold. The snacks are nice and it's clearer than other Clubs I've visiting in the last couple months. If you are a business travel, I'd probably look for something a little more quieter and exclusive. If not, this is a much need break from the outside world. They did change the rules recently that you can only use a pass if you fly United that day. New review as things have changed for the better. WIFI is working much better these days and the club seems to be kept in good shape. As we always seem to go out of gate E5 is a nice and close. Standard array of goodies and because United has a limited presence in DFW the club has never seemed too crowded. Since DFW is my home airport I visit this club frequently. CLUBHOUSE The space is small but it's nice. I can see how this club could get totally packed. There are a lot of power options which I love. You have power at the desks, the community high boy tables and at the comfy dentist lobby chairs. So plug in and charge up Dallas. I must be honest and give the food 0 stars. I was here for late lunch and the selection sucks. American Airlines is so much better including fresh made afternoon guacamole from a cart. Are you listening United? Let's get back to the United food. The bowl they give you for the soup is like 4 ounces. I used a coffee cup and the United lady gave me a dirty look. She was not happy about that. Hey I'm creative so I think outside the box and I'm going to eat my soup out of a coffee cup. Deal with it. I also had to chef up my soup. I added croutons, black pepper, grated Parmesan and green onions. It turned out pretty good. I'd give my dish a 4.5 stars but that was my plating not United's. They have bread and butter and then a bunch of random vegetables. They didn't even have lettuce just spinach. The red peppers were sitting in their own water and breaking down fast. You would never serve them like that in a restaurant. The website says there is a selection of meat and cheese. Good luck finding the meat because it didn't exist. The cheese was cubed cheddar, Swiss and jalapeño jack. They had apples and over ripe bananas plus coffee but I'm not having a coffee at 5pm because I will be up all night. There's a bowl of capers. I am not sure why. There's an ugly dirty wax bean salad. Honestly the salad bar feels like they called Golden Corral and asked them, "What are the top 15 salad bar dishes people don't like on a salad bar." It's the only way I could think they came up with this selection. There is really no chef direction or culinary thought on this buffet. Tear it down and start over. Here's another thing I don't like. My pass is only good for one club on that day. With American I can use my pass in every city on that day. Why so stingy United? I fly a lot and when I see a major airline stacking the deck in their favor it makes me mad. Keep your customers happy. Why can't I use my day pass for the whole day. It's called a Day Pass. The staff is 5 stars. It's not there fault about the food selection or in club policies. The bartender was super attentive. Even the two ladies at the front desk were super nice. I must make a comment though. There's just mass United confusion. My mobile app says my flights on time. The board in the club says my flight is late. The ladies behind the desk had different info. There is such a lack of communication going on here. Again this is United's fault and I can only compare it to American which has its app working over time. It's telling me the customer first before any one else and I love it. I fly a lot and I always give United multiple chances but they are not a happy airline. Their planes have gotten old. They are like American Airlines from 10 years ago. The club is better then sitting in the terminal. They have a policy of not bringing in outside food but that's not enforced. I think they have this policy so people in the club don't see what real food is and go out in the terminal. This United Club is decent, the staff is friendly and the areas of the club are clean. Today they served a good little lunch with the usual on the food bar. It is always nice to check out the different United Clubs to see what their vibe is and this DFW United Club is chil, the deco is slick and millenium-like, they are working on a new United Club by E7 if you decide to visit the United Club currently open it is not in the United Terminal...I had to walk like 10 minutes and the sign does warn you at E7 (10-15 minute walk) aside from that this club has all you need to make your airport visit a getaway. 4 stars! read more

I would give "0" stars if possible, currently this place says it's open for another 35 min, and we made our way from one end of the airport to the other end just so we. Hold use our passes and rest our feet for a while in the United club, but as we found the place, an older lady from the inside just waived her hands at us and says closed, while we asked another lady going around the side door, and was responded to very rudely. After saying we're closed and attempting to just close the door in my face, I asked her to wait just a minute, explained the situation, and she cut me off and said "Oh well, we're closed, you have to come back at a different hour" and then closed the door without allowing any further questions or comments. This is the second time this happens, and my passes expire soon, and i am not at all interested in continuing any further business with United . read more
