Love their ice cream , shakes and sundeas. They sell gas but tobbe honest we usually just stop here for a icecream treat. As with everything now ... they have trouble keeping help and so the service is hit or miss. But they do a big business for ice cream and therevis often a wait. We often tag team it... he puts in our order in while i get in line to pay. Stopped in today and seemed like all new people. Very young and the guys had hair hanging down over there eyes ...guess thats the style now. Lol. All the icecream containers looked about empty. So they stay busy. Our fav is the peanutbutter shakes. Dont request extra thick because it usually comes that way. read more

Workers are too lazy to make ice cream until close. Signage says open until 1am, green hair kid said they're closing at 11 and can't make ice cream anymore. It was 10:38 when I went in, either way they were still open for 22 more minutes. I'm pretty sure that means you'll serve ice cream for 22 more minutes. Not apologetic or anything just "we're not doing ice can" not great customer service. read more

One of my favorite gas stations because they are always the least expensive in the area. For example; today is Nov 11th and price for regular was $1.87/gallon and the UDF right down the road in Red Lion was $1.99. So that's maybe 5.5miles away? People are always nice. Place is clean. Easy in and out. Fantastic malts. Sign up for UDF app and you get .03cents a gallon off and they send out messages where your can get free items; crackers, ice cream, snacks and drinks. Besides Graeters this is the only other place I will get ice cream from when I come home to Ohio. No matter what flavor you choose it is always creamy and delicious. Milkshakes, malts, sundaes or just a regular ice cream scoop, you can get your pick at UDF. It is not super fancy in UDF, it's a convenience store that serves amazing ice cream! I love during the holidays to come here and get an egg nog milkshake. It is out of this world amazing! You can also buy the ice cream in the freezer section if you want to wait until you get home to get your dessert on. Their egg nog and specialty drinks and punches can also be bought in store. A visit home to Ohio is never complete without a trip to UDF for a sweet treat! read more

Seems like they strive to give their customers great discounts and freebies! I am told their milkshakes brings everyone around. I am ready to try on next visit when it is not 9 AM. But the. Also check out the gallons and pints of UDF and Homemade Ice Cream. They always have specials too on select flavors.
