Five years ago this company sold us a Generac, whole house generator. They neglected to install it per building code, and squawked when confronted. I offered to pay 1/2 for the mistake, but after many calls with a rep, they became beligerent. So, they finally relented,after I pressure them, to fix the problem. 5 years later: when I went to renew my warranty, I was asked to open the top the generator and read the serial number. Lo and behold, the key United Electric gave me did not work. Call, but basically up yours for an answer. So now I have to hire a locksmith to give me a new lock, thanks to United Electric. Called with an overhead light fixture issue and had an appointment set for the next day. A notification was sent immediately confirming the appointment and window times. Another alert was received just prior to the confirmed time updating on the tech's location and how far away he was. When he arrived he found the problem within minutes.
